Oh how I curl and turn, amidst dreams of happier times and my foolish desires.
Yet one of us has to work, unable to rest his rear, or is it really a blessing?

The solitude we do desire at times, the companionship I had longed for.
No shoe ever fits perfectly, but so few are so soft, yet abrasive.
The attitude we do aspire for, the relationship I had sought more than years four.
I knew you wouldnt fit so squarely, but my dreams are aloft, yet just within reach.

Does one blame a goldfish, trapped within its bowl, for its reality?
Does one blame the sun, for refusing to provide luminescence to it?
When it becomes white as snow, a colorless marvel at last.
When it becomes life anew, a peerless marble to last.

Should I try and change its scales, those pure white scales?
Shall I cry and exchange my tales, those rare trite tales?
Is it selfish to love, something that cannot feel?
Is it worse to hope, for something to change so I may feel?

Gentle embrace of slumber, never failing to put me under.
My worries evaporate like rivers in this cruel heat.
Subtle remembrance of what I wonder, ever trailing just beyond yonder.
My warrior's heart shrivels like paper, tarpped within fiery emotions.

To feel those arms around me, the strong limbs that gave me hope before.
Ironic virtual ones seemed to be more effective, despite how much I had prayed for it.
To fell those that harm me, the wrong trims that had me mope evermore.
Chronic rituals without end or perspective, respite of scant moments in it all.

An alien feeling, as alien as you are to me.
We share many things, hearts connected.
Yet we are a million miles apart, without a wormhole for relief.
A dandelion reeling, our symbol of unity to me.

A glance downwards reveal only the painful truth, of uselessness and effortlessness.
You tell me to stop and look up at the sky, alas my gaze is always stolen.
A chance onwards the wheel of youth, of artfulness and auspiciousness.
I yell back that I cannot stare up high, alas I was made blind and swollen.

Waiting for that hand to move, to finally signal the end to this torture.
One way or another, all this will end somehow.
Changing for your hand to move, to finally signal the end to this torture.
One way or another, you and I will see a conclusion to follw.

A promised land awaits us, a paradise to behold.
No maps ever to be sold, for every one a different address.
A remorsed land awaits us, a horrifying tale to be told.
No man ever to be held, for every one a soul to curse.

Maybe one day I will look up and see the sunlight, the beautiful skies.
Perhaps that day I would wake up from the moonlight, the hateful sorrows.
But the day is long and far, unknown to me, even.
But you are here and near, unknown to me, still.

I will hold yoou through the night, if you can stomach it.
I will tell you of my erroneous might, if you can muscle it.
Whether or not you fit into my heart, the missing puzzle.
I will keep you near, offering the ever-comforting cuddle.

Please do not distribute/repost/copy without author's express permission.

Comments are welcome, i tried a little...well, can't say harder, because most of my poems are just feelnigs that spourt up and I try to put into words fast as i can
before I lose said feelings admist LoL, borderlands, etc...I gotta say though, this uneventful life of mine is really driving me crazy.
