{"sf1_id":585770,"sf2_id":"yndXv62n","title":"blind dog walking","author":"moon worshiper","words":335,"posted_at":"2013-09-05T02:35:00.000Z","tags":["Cat","Crow","Dog","Fox","Lies","Poetry","Royalty"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/585770-blind-dog-walking","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/s/yndXv62n","image_url":"https://cdn.sofurryfiles.com/submissions/thumbnails/f6/83/f683b2f3-2c18-4940-a9dd-00447de3cbbd","description":"#1 of nice or sad poems\n\nThe people are in sharers under this king of lies\nWhich black wings he flies(I got something happy)","content":"The blind dog walks\n\nHe walks like you and me talks\n\nBut when he walks across the street\n\nEvery one stares at his fur like they're concrete\n\nChildren ask him does he ever sleep\n\nCan he even count the sheep.\n\nBut on a happy little day\n\nOr so says the hog\n\nThe Foxes came over to the blind dog\n\nThey told him he could not be blind man\n\nbut they ran\n\nFor when he lifted his eyelids they saw\n\nWhat had been clawed out by king caw\n\nThe Foxes told caw what the blind dog did\n\nAnd he knew he'd find him bitter here he hid\n\nHe knew the dogs hide and would tear it off\n\nHe held the dog and gave him a choice to which through a strangled cough\n\nThe dog would count his feathers or die\n\nHe couldn't touch them but he didn't lie\n\nHe said two hundred and four\n\nHe was then slammed into a door\n\nThe king wanted to know how he knew that\n\nAnd so he and the dog sat\n\nAs he explained that he memorized the last image of the king\n\nOh the king nearly killed him with his ring\n\nFor the dog called him fat\n\nAnd the king just hated that\n\nThe queen cat walked in to see\n\nThe dog being held over the sea\n\nAnd with that a miracle by deuce\n\nThat saw through a ruse\n\nThe caw let the dog down and thought up lies\n\nAs the blind dog glowed and received his eyes\n\nFor the caw was not king\n\nNore should he wear the dogs ring\n\nThe cat clawed at the false king\n\nThey took him down so they sing\n\nThe cat loved the dog the dog loved the cat\n\nAnd the caw loved the golden hat\n\nBut love of material is not so grand\n\nLove of each other is a different brand\n\nAnd so the dog ki ng ruled with a gentle heart\n\nAnd that's how it should have been from the start\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"nice or sad poems","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/614804-when-we-waste-away.json"}}
