Searching the land below for a sister who is hiding","content":" **Hidden scales\\\u003c?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = \"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office\" /\\\u003e**\n\nSoaring above the bright blue sky\n\nWings wide and head held high\n\nCrisp wind running through my scales\n\nMuscles rippling from head to tail\n\nThe ground below so vast and wide\n\nMy eyes are prone and my prey can't hide\n\nLying in wait in the tall green grass\n\nWaiting for my form to pass\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\n\nI see rustling far down below\n\nThe creature is moving so very slow\n\nCircling above for my chance to strike\n\nIt yells out to me to take a hike\n\nA smile adorned my scaly lips\n\nLooking down at my little sis\n\nEven though she tries to act tough\n\nHer cute voice made me laugh\n\nAs she stared I began my decent\n\nWings out and knees bent\n\nAs I land she runs over to me\n\nHead nuzzling against my knee\n\nShe looks up with a tired smile\n\nI look back for quite awhile\n\nOur gazes turn to our home\n\nKnowing that we will never be alone\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"poem","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/605270-the-price-of-life.json"}}
