{"sf1_id":592594,"sf2_id":null,"title":"The Housepet Games: Chapter Seven","author":"ThisAdamGuy","words":376,"posted_at":"2013-09-20T04:59:00.000Z","tags":["Action","Adventure","Fanfiction","Humor","Hunger Games","housepets","psychic","webcomic"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/592594-the-housepet-games-chapter-seven","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/view/592594","image_url":"https://www.sofurryfiles.com/std/thumb?page=592594\u0026ext=.jpg","description":"","content":"\nChapter Seven\n \nGrape sheathed her sword as King vanished in a cloud of\nsmoke.  She couldn't say she was happy\nabout that part.  The vanishing bodies\ntook away from the realism of it all. \nThen again, what had she expected? \nTarot had told them there would be no over-the-top violence.\nThe cannon boomed in the distance, displaying both Max and\nKing's faces.  She'd lost her partner,\nand that didn't make her happy either. \nMax may not have been as amazing as he'd claimed, but having him with\nher could only increase her odds of staying alive.  Now there were only three players left:\nherself, Peanut, and Bino.  Grape\nchuckled to herself.  Who would have\nthought that the fleabrained Bino would make it this far?\nAs she set off into the forest once again, she began to\nwrack her brains for some sort of strategy. \nShe'd seen Peanut run into the woods with a great big he probably had no\nidea how to use, but she had no idea what weapons Bino had on him- if\nanything.  The best plan of action would\nbe to...\nA loud ruckus came from her right, and Grape spun around to\nface it, drawing her sword.\n\"AAAAAAH!\" Peanut screamed, running at her from the trees,\nhis axe held above his head.\n\"Peanut, wait!\" Grape shouted, lowering her sword.  The pup stopped midstep, looking at her\nexpectantly.\n\"Let's form an alliance!\" she said, smiling.\nPeanut lowered his axe and looked at her in confusion,\n\"Why?\" he asked.\n\"Because you, me, and Bino are the only ones left,\" Grape\nanswered.  Her smile turned into a\nsadistic grin, \"Wouldn't it be fun to take him down together?\"\n\"Well, yeah,\" Peanut agreed. \n\"But won't we still have to fight each other anyway?\"\n\"That's the point, Peanut!\" Grape explained.  \"If we take down Bino together, then no\nmatter what happens, one of us will win. \nAnd we'll get to make a proper final battle out of it!\"\n\"With lots of epicness?\" Peanut exclaimed, tail wagging.\n\"Enough epic for you to choke on!\" Grape confirmed, holding\nout her paw.\n\"Deal!\" the pup agreed, grabbing her paw and shaking it\nvigorously.\n\"All right, then!\" Grape said, turning and\nleading the way.  \"Let's go kill us a\njerk!\""}
