No this dragon takes his responsibilities very seriously.","content":"The Jade Emperor\n\n* * *\n\nMaster of all the martial arts\n\nand ruler of heaven and earth.\n\nSupreme warrior and guardian\n\nproviding shelter for the weak.\n\nWisest of all the dragons.\n\nNothing stirs fear in his breast\n\nor turns aside his iron will.\n\nWho dares to tread on his domain?\n\nWho dares attack those sheltered\n\nunder his mighty wings?\n\nFear you should the dragon's flame\n\nand the mighty fires of his anger.\n\nThe mighty dragon is not a figurehead\n\nor a chess piece to be moved around at will.\n\nCome say it to his face why don't you?\n\nSpeak those whispered words aloud.\n\nSee how well your proud arrogance gets you.\n\nWhen faced with a dragon's eyes.\n\nThe Jade Emperor fears one.\n\nNo creature that has ever lived.\n\nThe lives of a nation he carries\n\nupon his shoulders.\n\n  \n\nCome and touch them if you dare.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poems","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/592147-wings-of-darkness.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/596204-wolf-s-howl.json"}}
