In my world the gold and silver dragons are the most respected and both of them love knowledge and learning, but each has a different approach. Gold dragons build magnificent buildings and libraries to house incredible amounts of books, while silver dragons are story tellers. Silver dragons are more nomadic and live fairly simple lives compared to the far more extravagant gold dragons. They fly out around the world telling tales by campfires and in city squares to whoever will listen to them. They stay with whoever has room for them and accept whatever gifts are given, but they do not charge for their story telling.
