Not Alone

When memories arise  
Both good and bad  
They have a tendency  
To make us sad  
  
But in this darkness  
God shines his light  
Like a star in the sky  
Brightens the darkest night  
  
When we think we're all alone  
He knows thats not true  
To whispers these words  
Of peace to comfort you  
  
Be at peace and not sad  
These past trials you recall  
I am here to comfort  
And thats not all  
  
My star is the brightest  
But more you can see  
The light of you friends hearts  
Lighting up the sky with me  
  
So look into the night  
All the stars that you see  
Will be shining brightly  
Because of your friends and me  
  
So know at this time  
Your never alone  
We're all around you  
Our hearts are your own
