A poem I wrote, inspired by the Norwegian peace song "Kringsatt av Fiender" which means literally "Surrounded by Enemies"

You stand closely with your marks

This is not the way  
Never to be  
Hold your fire  
Come to your senses  
Life is Praying  
Hearting for cleanses

Watch the world with all its scars  
Time and time again  
Getting flaws  
Hoping to end this  
The endless fight  
We must not break  
In end of night

We wish for hearts who cannot choose  
Blasted, destroyed  
By one of You  
Covering yourself in lies  
Telling to change  
"No one's to blame"  
Not to exchange

Death must not harvest all the pure  
They are the light of world  
They have the cure  
For the hopeless folk  
Please protect them  
Let them shine  
Through the mayhem

War is menacing, war is cruel  
It's opposite of Life  
It's the ghoul  
With our common Strength  
Make it subdue  
Till they can see  
Make them rue

Tranquility, the flawless fair  
It goes through souls  
Makes them to flare  
With its Sister  
They calm the anger  
Which filled their minds  
Lowering the dagger

Work with Creation, the Anchor  
People around the World  
Make the door  
Each other you must trust  
To rid their greed  
For all our sake  
Plant the one seed
