with some stuff outside.\n\nShe looked and saw some books, twilight asked how much and they where 7 bits the lot, she brought them all.\n\nUpon getting home she put them to one side and then looked at her collection of books, they where getting a bit over crowed but twilight didn't care.\n\nAt the same time Fluttershy was looking after some animals, but every time they left she felt sad, she then told them that if they wanted to stay they could.\n\nThe animals where a bit confused but nodded it was much better then going back outside to the woods or land and getting hurt again or killed.\n\nFluttershy smiled as she got some more feed for them.\n\nAlso in her boutique, rarity was looking though her dresses.\n\nShe had kept every single one, even the plane basic yellow on that twilight had worn once.\n\nShe couldn't just get rid of them, what if they where needed again?\n\nShe had also kept all the off cuts of her dresses; they might come in handy too.\n\nRainbowdash sat outside her home waiting; she then got her copy of the Wonderbolts.\n\nShe had everything related to them, even sorins old pie dishes.\n\nShe smiled as she read though them her home full of Wonderbolts related stuff, even the fan letters to them she had, she liked them that much, even if it was poster of something else but spitfire or sorin she had to have it.\n\nPinkie pie smiled as she came back from another great party.\n\nShe had a load of balloons left over, not used streamers and some nice party poppers.\n\nAs she walked into the cakes home she smiled putting the left over food in the counter in case anyone wanted it.\n\nShe then went upstairs to her room, which was full of old party stuff, balloons that had long since de-faulted, old party invites and used confetti.\n\nShe always said it would be used one day, but how she wasn't sure.\n\nApplejack smiled as one of friends dropped off an old cart, she put it round the side of them barn.\n\nThere was loads of old farming equipment that was now no good, but applejack said it was still useful just that no pony wanted to use it.\n\nThe old equipment was rusting and had grass growing up around it, most of the wood rotten or compactly gone.\n\nAlso there was loads of old tools, all broken but applejack kept the, just in case in her older days she wanted to repair them.\n\nBut this was only the start of something very bad, something that takes people years to do, and can be very hard to get over.\n\nThe thing I'm talking about?\n\nHoarding.\n\nOne day while twilight was looking up stuff on her computer she looked on pony list, typed in free items and clicked the find.\n\nThere she would look though, then she saw something, loads of free books, all where going to be either made into writing paper or where going to be burnt for fuel.\n\nTwilight contacted every single pony.\n\nShe then hired a cart and a strong pony to pull it and started to go to the said places.\n\nShe picked the books up then once the cart was very full went home.\n\nSpike wasn't too pleased to see loads of new books, asking twilight where to put them?\n\nShe just said to put them over there, in front of other books or on top of books, just make sure there not blocking important books.\n\nFluttershy in the mean time was looking after loads of animals; her home was now over run with animals, the forests where a bit empty compared to Fluttershy's home.\n\nShe loved the animals to stay, and she had said they could if they wanted too.\n\nAnd they did, a safe place, free food and best of all no need to do what they did, they could do what they wanted, but this was rough on Fluttershy, working 20 hours a day to get each animal happy, it was also taking a toll on her.\n\nShe spit food on the floor, couldn't be asked to clean up the mess they left as well as her own.\n\nBut she didn't care; animals first, high gene last.\n\nRainbow dash was reading her first ever Wonderbolts book, as she did she got a knock on the door, her action figures for the Wonderbolts had come, she opened the box up and put the boxed cards on a shelf.\n\nThe sad thing was there was also her daring do collection, she also collected stuff on her, her home was now full of Wonderbolts items, and daring do stuff.\n\nAnything related or that had been related to the Wonderbolts or daring do rainbow dash had to have.\n\nShe had everything from signed pictures to signed cooking items.\n\nEven daring do clothes, she was now starting to wonder if she should collect clouds dale stuff?\n\nPinkie pie was looking though her party items and now had a load of stuff.\n\nOld balloons where on the floor, old party invites where on the walls nicely mounted and each where dated.\n\nHer bedroom now looked like the inside of a shop for parties.\n\nPinkiepie then found out that she hadn't put up her happy birthday banners, she had loads all where the same but each had there own special story.\n\nGummy looked on seeing pinkie pie bring in more old party stuff, this time, baby party's stuff, and then Christmas party stuff and heart's and hoofs day party stuff.\n\nThe boxes piled up and now her bedroom looked small.\n\nRarity was now ordering in more blank pony dolls, as all her normal ones where full of her dresses from the past, it was easier to display them then get them all winkled and flat in the wardrobes.\n\nSweetiebelle looked as her bedroom had 20 of the ponies in there, the whole house was full of dresses and off cuts and every room even the bathroom was starting to fill up.\n\nRarity couldn't help and let them go.\n\nThen she found pony list and saw her dresses that she had made on there she had to go and rescue them.\n\nWhich meant more space was taken up.\n\nOpen didn't like it either, but the boxes full of old off cuts or left overs was a nice bed so she didn't mind sometimes.\n\nApplejack smiled as in came more old farming equipment.\n\nBog Mac said she had a problem but she didn't, she just said that she was storing this stuff up in case it was ever needed.\n\nShe had now covered it up as well as a few ponies had wanted the items for there museums.\n\nBut applejack said no as they where going to be used again even if they where rusty and slowly decaying away.\n\nThe barn was also full of items carts mostly old ones and broken ones, but rare ones, or so applejack saw them, there where rare as they came from one there friends.\n\nOne night things started to happen to the ponies body's, there cutiemarks disappeared and where replaced by just a big very well covered H, the H was see able but it was under what every they had hoarded.\n\nAll of them screamed and meet in town, then they saw what had become of them.\n\nApplejack had inside her hat a latest for sale farm equipment, pinkie pie was covered in old confetti and had a party hat on, rarity was wearing one of very old dresses it was in bad shape slightly torn and had stains on it, twilight had her saddle bags and they where sagging full of books, rainbowdash landed and had on her daring do outfit on, custom made to fit her, but then all 5 five turned noses up as they smelt Fluttershy, her hoofs stank of gods knows and she looked so tried.\n\n\"Girls, I think we have a problem\"\n\nTwilight said getting out a book and looking at the cutiemarks,\n\n\"It says here that we've become hoarders, a pony or person that hoards items of all kinds or one type of a certain item, the only way to break this is to go and get some help\"\n\nAll looked at themselves and didn't want to admit to being a hoarder, each one just walked away.\n\nBut twilight was right, and the more they left it the worse it would get, and only one pony would see this, the princess.\n\nOne day as twilight awoke and made her way down to the kitchen making sure not to knock over the piles of books staked nicely but looked a mess by spike she saw the mail on the floor by the door.\n\nShe picked it up and read them, then spike burped and out came a letter from the princess.\n\n\"Dear twilight I'm coming to vist you and your friends as I've heard your having a problem, mostly with hoarding, I'll be coming along today\"\n\nTwilight clopped her hoofs the princess was coming, the others had also gotten the letter, mind you only Fluttershy hadn't seen it, or rainbowdash as they where too busy.\n\nLater that day the princess came and her first stop was twilight, she looked worried as she could see the windows where blocked by books, she knocked on the door and spike answered.\n\nAs he opened the door it took some force as the books where in the way of the door, spike moved them and then the princess looked.\n\nTwilight tree library had become a book store, but an un-safe one.\n\n\"Princess, hello, pleased to meet you, I hope your trip was okay, c'mon lets go see our friends, I don't see what all the fuss is about,\n\n\"I'm not a hoarder and I'm sure my friends aren't too!\"\n\nShe smiled but celetia could see the H cutiemark and it was very covered.\n\nThere first stop was with rarity, as they got to her home the first thing they saw was loads of blank pony manikins just there blank and new but outside the shop.\n\nAs they opened the door, rarity was busy trying to get all of the manikins to fit into a good place but not block her from her work.\n\n\"Ah princess pleased to meet you, I hope you don't mind but I'm a little bit busy, hay, your dresses I made for you, you don't need them cluttering up your wardrobe,\n\n\"I'll take them off your hoofs free of change of course\"\n\nRarity said as a box full of scraps fell to the floor opal inside it.\n\nThey left as rarity shouted at her cat and moved the dresses around again.\n\nTwilight smiled hoping the princess hadn't seen that rarity had gone a little mad.\n\nThey then got to the cakes shop, but as they came in there was no pinkiepie.\n\nAs they went upstairs they heard her in her bedroom saying no.\n\n\"Where are you? I know you're in here!\"\n\nShe said looking though boxes\n\n\"Pinkie, what are you after?\"\n\nTwilight asked as a box full of nightmare night party items fell onto her.\n\n\"Gummy, I know I put him in one of these boxes, but I can't remember\"\n\nMore boxes flew after being looked in.\n\nThey left and headed to applejacks house but along the way they where surprised.\n\nAlong the road was loads of covered up farming equipment.\n\nWhen they got to the farm house big Mac and applejack where having one hell of an argument.\n\n\"I say we build another barn then I can store my items in the old one and all the stuff we use now,\"\n\n\"Eenope, you got to clear this old junk out\"\n\n\"No I will not!\"\n\nThey didn't even stop to try to short things out, as they few to rainbowdashes home, which changed a load.\n\nThe first thing they saw was the Wonderbolts flags and the daring do banners all saying about the new books which weren't the new books.\n\nAs they got into the home, there was everything related to daring do and the Wonderbolts.\n\n\"Oh hay twilight, did you find that book on pie making that sorin once used?\"\n\nShe said looking at her collection of pie making books,\n\n\"Or the very first paper back collection of daring do?\"\n\nRainbowdash said looking at the hard back versions.\n\n\"Um no, we came to see if you okay\"\n\nShe said as the princess looked seeing everything that a hoarder would want.\n\n\"I'm fine, now then if you don't mind, I'm biding on daring do and Wonderbolts corn cob holders\"\n\nShe left typing in on the keyboard another bid.\n\nThe last place was Fluttershy's place.\n\nAs they landed they saw a really bad looking yellow pony.\n\nShe was feeding the animals and also getting new ones, then celetia's own phoenix flew and landed in her horn.\n\n\"So that's where you got too,\"\n\nShe said she then smelt the awful smell of the place over run with animals.\n\n\"Twilight, I have seen enough, you and your friends hoarders, I want you to go to this class and do not miss it, I then want a report\"\n\nShe left with her phoenix keeping it in the cage so it couldn't go back to Fluttershy.\n\nThe card read hoarders anonymous; it was in town hall and was free.\n\nThe next day everyone went to it, even Fluttershy, who had of course not washed and smelt bad, rainbowdash was reading a daring do book for the millionth time, applejack was thinking of where to put a cart that once carried the first ever pumpkin.\n\nAs they sat down a pony walked in, he was brown and had the cutiemark like there's.\n\n\"Hello every pony, thank you for coming, I want you to first off not be ashamed that you're here,\n\n\"hoarding is a normal part of life, we all do it, I'm the best but it's a curse, like with dragons they grow wanting more, however, your hoarding instead grows,\n\n\"To the point that it gets out of hand, now the princess has told me about what you hoard and I'm here to help you at least cut down the amount you have,\n\n\"Lets start off by saying what we hoard, I'll go first, I hoard comics or comic books clippings and stuff like that\"\n\nHe said as rainbowdash perked up from her book,\n\n\"Gasp, do you have the Wonderbolts comics? I'm missing a few, I know which ones but I'd be glad to pay anything for them!\"\n\nShe said looking at him,\n\n\"See, this is what we call the obsessive hoarder, only after one certain thing to hoard, they are the ones easy to deal with, it's the multiple hoarders that are hard to deal with, like collectors of items,\n\n\"They can, hoard for years even after there long dead, another family member will pick up where they left off,\"\n\nApplejack then spoke,\n\n\"Now you listen here, I've got a little sister and she dose not hoard, I know this for a fact, she more after her cutiemark then hoarding!\"\n\nRarity spoke up after applejack was done,\n\n\"Yes, same with my sweetiebelle, she'd never hoard, and even if she did it would be some fabulous\"\n\nRarity said sitting in a dress she had made years ago and had brought back.\n\n\"And what's not making them want there cutiemarks in hoarding? They could simple just hoard the same items as you,\n\nBut you wouldn't notice from your own hoarding,\n\n\"Now then how do we stop this?\n\n\"Sadly there is no way of stopping it, but there is however ways to stop building on it,\n\n\"You just need to first of all stop, if you see something you want look and make sure you want it, what if you already have that item but its just been re-coloured or just re-printed,\n\n\"The other thing, is it broken? If its broken get rid of it, unless your will to pay for it to get mended its not going to be worth it, because once you've fixed it, it's going to be a loss when you sell it,\n\n\"Now then I'm going to vist each of you at the end of week and see what items can be got rid of, but I want you to take away these three simple steps,\n\n\"Is it worth anything? Is it complete or all there, and lastly, do need it or will it be useful in the next 5 years\"\n\nAll 6 went away to see what they could do, they knew the pony was coming but who would he vist first?\n\nHe first visited Fluttershy as she really needed help.\n\nShe had hoarded animals but only because they did want to leave and it had taken its toll.\n\nAs the pony entered he first was taken back by the smell, but it was the living conditions.\n\nAnimal hoarders usually forget to clean up the animals or look after them.\n\nFluttershy had looked after them but too well, most of them where fat, or not doing what they did.\n\nFluttershy was told to make them go home, and that what she did, she first made the birds fly back to there homes, they tweeted and flew away.\n\nFluttershy cried but she then noticed the mess, she started to clean it up.\n\nAs she did other animals left too, the hoarder pony said to the animals to go home and only come back when you're un-well or hurt.\n\nMost of them did but a few stayed, these where the ones covered in poop or were sick from the over feeding.\n\nHe left and headed to the blue ponies home, the first thing he saw was the banners that where out dated.\n\nHe then saw the door matt that was in the shape of a Wonderbolts pony.\n\nAs he got in he saw all the posters and all the Wonderbolts related stuff.\n\n\"Okay now rainbowdash, I want you to tell me, why do you have banners that are out of date?\"\n\nHe said sitting in a Wonderbolts style couch,\n\n\"Because it's the Wonderbolts! And I needed it, besides; no one minds I'm there biggest fan\"\n\nShe said polishing a signed gold copy of spitfire picture,\n\n\"But what about the none related Wonderbolts stuff? Books on pies? The pie tins that are used? And all the daring do stuff?\"\n\nHe said looking at the stuff,\n\n\"Sorins a pie fan the books are the ones he likes or has had his face on it!\"\n\nShe said showing that each one was a good choosing by sorin.\n\n\"I see well dash your hoarding is okay but do you really need the books? You could store them away, you know them all off by heart anyways, and the none boxed models, they could be wrapped up and put away,\n\n\"Unless you're going to play with them its better to have boxed stuff on display then open\"\n\nRainbowdash sighed, she was thinking about all the stuff she had boxed and opened, most of it she hardly used, like the daring do egg timer, and the boxed stuff was better on display then the open stuff more easily to clean as well.\n\n\"I want you to short and either sell or put away the open or not used a lot items, you can do it dash, you just have to put your mind to it\"\n\nHe left and headed to the pink ponies home.\n\nAs he got into the cakes home he wasn't welcomed by a party, instead he went upstairs and found the pink pony looking though boxes.\n\nPinkie was looking for her welcome to my bedroom stuff but it was so messy boxes where just full of used or new but the wrong kind of party type stuff.\n\n\"Pinkie, you need to sort these boxes out\"\n\nHe said opening one up and finding a crossed eye croc,\n\n\"Gummy! That's where you got too, but if I tidy up I won't know where stuff is!\"\n\nHer mane flattened,\n\n\"But do you know where anything is now? This is why we have lists,\n\n\"If you label stuff or keep lists you'll know which box to go too,\n\n\"Also do you really need to keep old balloons and used confetti?\"\n\nHe said looking at her\n\n\"Your right, I need to sort these boxes and throw away anything that's used or isn't good looking for a party\"\n\nHe smiled and left heading towards the white ponies' home, seeing the ponies outside.\n\nInside rarity was looking at her dresses and trying to get them to fit into places that they would fit but didn't.\n\n\"Rarity, you need to not display them like this, used bags to store them, and as for little bits or scraps, do you really need them?\n\n\"Think about it, if you where to try and find a certain bit or part of clothing, you'd spend hours looking for it, then just order in new parts\"\n\nHe said\n\n\"But dear, these are my art! I can't just let them rot in ones wardrobe,\n\n\"I need to display them, so that I can show off how my work has improved over the years!\"\n\nShe said moving stuff around\n\n\"Yes but how many have you sold since you started like this?\"\n\nRarity's face dropped, she had sold none and hadn't sold anything.\n\n\"What I want you to do rarity, is to buy some good clothes protectors,\n\n\"Then if any are ripped, damaged or need repairs to put them on the boxes,\n\n\"Then sort though the boxes making sure that anything you hate you either throw away or sell\"\n\nHe hugged her and she started to short out the boxes finding stuff to repair the dresses.\n\nHe went to twilights home but saw that twilight was already doing good.\n\nOutside her home was a cart full of books, it had a sign on it saying free to good homes.\n\nAs he walked in he could see twilight looking at the books and her dragon friend also helping.\n\nThere where checking pages, condition and if they where keeps or lobs or even sell.\n\nHe left twilight as she was doing good and went to the most difficult pony to deal with hoarding wise, applejack.\n\nAs he walked down the path to her farm he saw loads of old carts all in stages of despair.\n\nHe got to her home and she was looking on pony list for free carts.\n\nHe looked and saw all the old equipment outside, he then talked to applejack.\n\n\"Are you just going to ignored me? You need to stop; most of the carts out there are only fit for fire wood!\n\n\"You must stop, look if you need help I'll help, I know these are important to you but you have to stop, your clogging up the path\"\n\nApplejack sighed and got up, she then went to the outside next the barn there she lifted up sheets and started to sort out the equipment, mostly removing broken tools but not the machines.\n\n\"You know what no, I like this stuff, I'll only buy stuff that's good\"\n\nShe went inside, as the hoarder pony sighed, looking at the karts, he then thought of a way to get her to look at it another way but that would be for another day, he now wanted to see what would happened in a week.\n\nAs a week pasted and all of the ponies where back in the town hall, 4 had them had there old cutiemarks back but two still had the H covered in what they hoarded.\n\nApplejack and twilight, twilight's book collection had gone down but had also not gone down more moved.\n\nApplejacks collection had grown her farm was now more looking like a old western grave yard the amount of carts around the farm.\n\n\"Okay, now I see you are almost all back to normal,\n\n\"4 of you have your cutiemarks back two of you still someway to go,\n\n\"well I'll vist you and see how your getting on, you've all done very well, I'm a little disappointed in you applejack, you appear to be growing your hoard rather then reducing it,\"\n\n\"That I am, its ma land and I can do what I like, I don't see any order to remove it! Now you'll excuse me I've got a few sheds that have some nice old farming tools in them\"\n\nShe got up and left, all of them did.\n\nThe hoarder pony first visited Fluttershy who was much better.\n\nA week ago, her home was covered in animal poop and her animals where really just busking off of her niceness.\n\nNow her home smelt clean and her animal friends only came to her when they where sick, ill, or needed a place to stay while the weather was bad.\n\nHe was very proud of her, he gave her a hug and said she was cured of the hoarding bug.\n\nFluttershy yayed lightly and waved bye to the nice hoarder pony.\n\nHis next trip was to rainbowdashes, the first thing he saw was the banners had gone, flags where still up but the banners for Wonderbolts books had gone.\n\nWhen he went inside a lot of stuff was gone too, mostly the open stuff.\n\nRainbowdash showed him she'd put the open stuff away, and hadn't brought anything new as his words of is it the same thing just re-coloured where true.\n\nHe smiled and hugged her; she was too cured of the hoarding bug.\n\nShe flew around the room happy then gave him some comics on the Wonderbolts that where just no good, they where re-issues of ones she already had.\n\nHe took them and thanked her.\n\nHis next stop was to pinkie pie's place.\n\nWhen he came in this time he was welcomed by the pink pony, she then showed her room.\n\nThe boxes had words on them, most of them said contents and the other thing was they all had names.\n\nNightmare moon night party stuff, hearts and hoofs party stuff, Christmas party stuff, used but still loads left stuff.\n\nHe was amazed at how much the pink pony had done.\n\nHe hugged her and told her that she cured of the hoarding bug; she smiled and wanted to throw a party, but couldn't think what kind of stuff to use.\n\nAs he left he saw a truck outside rarity's as he walked to her he saw all the blank ponies going back home.\n\nShe had sorted out dresses and some of her very early stuff was so Yuk or not what she wanted.\n\nIt was put in the charity shop bin, the bits boxes had gone too, and the dresses where put away in bags with labels on them.\n\nHer home was now more easier to move around in too, she was also now keeping track of orders and was even offering that once you where board with the dress it would be return able to her but it would be kept or lobed if she hated it.\n\nThe hoarder pony hugged her saying she was too over the hoarding bug, she then gave him some old comics on sowing, she had found them in a scraps box.\n\nHe thanked her and headed towards twilights.\n\nTwilight was still sorting out books, but sadly she had gotten more books, most where from the cart.\n\nThe hoarder pony then helped her; he said that any books she wanted to keep but where no good where to be kept but if she found a better conditioned one to keep that instead of that one.\n\nShe smiled and hugged the hoarder pony, she would get over this hoarding bug she just had to work on it.\n\nHe then headed towards the farm but he had a plan, a plan that even though it might seem evil it would change applejacks mind.\n\nAs he got to the farm she was there looking at her newest hoard, a load of kids carts, all either rotten or rusted to just nothing.\n\n\"Glad you're still hoarding but have you thought of something applejack?\n\n\"What if it was a dry hot summer? All these old wooden carts and farming equipment,\n\n\"What if a fire started, all this nice wood, it burn and then where the carts are it burn the apple trees down,\n\n\"then you'd be out of home and money, I've seen it happen, I know you want to keep these items but sometimes its better to just keep the good old stuff,\n\n\"If you need help I'm here, besides I know what you're going though\"\n\nApplejack cried she hadn't though of fire, it could spread and even kill her family.\n\nShe got up and grabbed an axe, she then started to destroy the old rotten carts and put it in the fire wood burning area.\n\nShe then remembered the ponies who wanted some of the equipment for a museum, she called them and they took away a lot of items.\n\nHer cutiemark then re-appered, she hugged him and got rid of all the old equipment telling her friends that if they had any old farming equipment to give it to a museum, rather then her.\n\nTwilight had also cleaner her library, she had loads of books, then all decide to have a big bonfire party, in celebration of getting rid of the hoarding bug.\n\nEach pony brought something to burn.\n\nApplejack a few old carts that where very rotten and un-repairable.\n\nFluttershy some old feeding bags and wood the animals had chewed on.\n\nPinkiepie a load of old party stuff.\n\nRarity her torn, old, dresses that even the charity shop would reject.\n\nRainbowdash a load of old useless Wonderbolts and daring do items that where just re-colours or where broken from play.\n\nAnd twilight had loads of old books.\n\nThey light the bonfire and thanked the hoarding pony for helping them.\n\nAfter the fire was done each pony went home and went to bed.\n\nA few weeks later while reading though some old books on newspaper clippings twilight found a shocking story.\n\nShe ran to her friends with the article.\n\nShe put it on the table in rarity's place and read the article out load.\n\n\"A fire in a pony's home was started by a single candle that was left on,\n\n\"The pony inside was a hoarder of paper related items and eye witness say the house just went up in flames in a second, the doctors at the screen only found one body,\n\n\"The pony was not named but was known for his cutiemark, it was the only thing that wasn't burnt, it was an H with loads of items covering it,\n\n\"The pony had a book huddled in his hoofs and when they opened the burnt book they found a note,\n\n\"this is to say that is you ever have a pony or ponies that hoard stuff, let then know that I'll come to them and help them,\"\n\nThe newspaper clipping was over 700 years old, twilight and her friends where shocked.\n\nHad they really been visited by the ghost of the hoarder pony?
