Just a little poem I wrote for someone specific. I'm a tad rusty as this is the first poem I have written in years.

Surrounded in darkness of deep depression

Seeing no way out but continuing down.

Hope was fading away

Till that fateful day...

I found you, A sweet, caring wolf.

* * *

At first it was just chat, just conversations

But the more we talked the fonder i grew of you.

And slowly but surely I felt myself being lifted,

Out of the darkness...

* * *

By you, My lovely wolf.

* * *

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you,

To hold you close and to nuzzle your muzzle

I look to the day I can run my paws through your fur

And to give you a kiss...

* * *

Just to say, I love you.

* * *

Now I have you,

Waiting till we are together

To be able to hold you close and make you mine.

And to make you as happy as you made me...

* * *

For you are, my loving mate...

My light in the darkness of deep depression.
