I kissed him gently. \"Oh Kino.\" I\n\nsnuggled with him kissing him again, and got out of bed. I walked into\n\nJay's room, and he was still in a coma. I wonder... I took a deep\n\nbreath \"Here goes anything.\" I touched his head and focused as hard as\n\nI can. Everything began to go fuzzy. Then, everything went black.\n\nBrian (mind)\n\nI saw Jay just walking down a path. I walked up to him \"Jay?\" He\n\ndidn't respond, and he kept walking. I pulled his arm, but he kept\n\nwalking. \"Can't you hear me?\" \"My name isn't Jay.\" I looked at him\n\nand walked beside him. \"What's your name then?\" I grabbed his arm\n\npulling him back, but I tripped on a rock as he began to drag me. \"Why\n\nshould I tell you?\" I let go and stood up brushing the dirt off of me.\n\n\"Because I'm part of your family.\" He stopped as I walked up to him.\n\n\"Your not part of my family! I have no family!\" I held him tightly \"I\n\nam part of your family and you are part of mine.\" He moved his hands\n\nup as we appeared in a house engulfed by flames. The flames themselves\n\nseemed to do no damage to us like this is all a memory. He pointed to\n\ntwo burning bodies. \"That's my family! Being burned alive! By humans!\"\n\nI looked away. He then pointed to the blue haired boy in the corner.\n\nCrying...for his parents. The mom reached out for her child, but her arm\n\ndropped as part of the ceiling came crashing down crushing the mother\n\nand father. I heard the mother scream for Stephen to run away. The boy\n\ncried, but he did as he was told and left threw the window. \"Jay...\"\n\n\"But wait it gets better.\" He began walking upstairs so I followed\n\nhim. There I saw a baby crying. \"That is my baby brother.\" I looked at\n\nhim and he had blond hair with chubby cheeks and a blue blanket\n\ncovering him up. I was about to go out and touch his cheek as the\n\nfloor broke making him fall down. I couldn't hear the crying any more.\n\nI flinched and began to cry softly. \"It's not done yet.\" The scene\n\nchanged to the outside of the burning house. It was Jay running\n\naway, but a group of men stopped him. I couldn't hear what they were\n\nsaying to him, but I saw them began punching and kicking him once he\n\nwas on the ground. \"No! Stop it your going to kill him!\" I knew it was\n\npointless, but still I ran and tried to cover him. I could still feel\n\nthe punches hitting my body, but so did he. The scene changed quickly,\n\nand he was all alone bleeding and bruised. He looked straight at me\n\ncrying blood. \"Why couldn't you do anything to save me!\" He was\n\nspeaking to his parents, but it felt like he was saying it right at\n\nme. I flinched as everything began to fall to pieces. Only me and\n\nStephen were left here. He kept walking slowly away. \"Wait!\" I grabbed\n\nhim tightly he could feel my tears falling down in him. \"Let go of\n\nme!\" He tossed me to the ground and saw me crying like a baby. He\n\nlooked at himself for a bit and went on his knees going over to me \"Do\n\nyou really care about me?\" I couldn't speak, but I could nod my head.\n\nHe touched my shoulder as the world around us became to crumble. \"Will\n\nyou be...\"\n\nKino\n\nI saw Brian on the floor bleeding from his nose. I picked him up as\n\nJay opened his eyes. \"Jay?\" He didn't say anything for a while. He\n\njust ran over to me holding my tightly and began to cry. \"I'm so\n\nsorry.\" Soon enough Brian woke up looking at us smiling slightly. \"My\n\nlittle boy...\" He shut his eyes as I felt his pulse quickly. He was\n\nasleep thank god. Jay got on my back and he was still crying. He's\n\nchanged. I took Brian and Jay to our room. Sigh. \"Ghost can you take\n\nJay down stairs he's probably starving.\" \"Sure come on Jay.\" Ghost\n\ngrabbed Jay by his arm taking him downstairs. I looked over at\n\nBrian's bleeding nose. It looks like he may also have bruises on him.\n\nI stroked his body slowly. He began to nudge slightly. His eyes opened\n\nquickly and he sat up quickly hitting me on the forehead. \"Ow!\" He\n\nlooked at me straight into my eyes. He smiled slightly and kisses my\n\nforehead \"You know that I love you right?\" I laughed slightly at him\n\n\"Of course I know.\" \"Then it's fine if we're their parents right?\" He\n\nlooked at me with tears in his eyes as if I said no he will burst into\n\ntears \"Sigh, yes it's fine if we become their parents.\" \"Good because\n\nI kind of told Stephen that we are. Oh and Jay's real name is\n\nStephen.\" Of course he did. Wait parents equal a mom and dad right? If\n\nso am I the mom? Is that why he was acting all cute because he said\n\nI'll be the mom!? \"Who's the mom?\" He blushed \"I-It's me.\" \"Ok at\n\nleast it makes sense.\" \"What are you implying?\" Crap did I just make\n\nit sound like I'm saying he basically is a girl. \"No, no I wasn't\n\nsaying that you are like the perfect fit for fitting the mom because\n\nyou act like a girl or anything.\" \"You never said I acted like a\n\ngirl.\" Crap. Ding \"That's the door I'll go get it.\" I ran out of the\n\nroom and opened the door to see Axel at the door with something\n\nwrapped around it. \"Dude you have to see this shit.\" \"This isn't the\n\nbest time Axel.\" \"That's Axel? Why haven't you told me you were still\n\ntalking to him? It would have been nice to know who you're always\n\nwith.\" \"Hey there Brian no grudge for high school life?\" \"No, it's\n\nfine didn't really bother me that much.\" That's a lie. Axel came in\n\nand set the thing on the table \"Well Kino you have to check this out.\"\n\nIt looked like it could fit in anyone's hand. It looked like some type\n\nof scanner. \"What does it do Axel?\" I hope Axel doesn't say much about\n\nwhat we do on the side. \"Well you two it scans for people who are gifted.\"\n\nBrian didn't say anything at first \"What makes you think there's such\n\na thing as supernatural things?\" He laughed slightly \"Didn't Kino ever\n\ntell you? I'm a vampire duh.\" Brian didn't say anything he didn't even\n\nlook at me. \"I trust you enough to tell you everything in my life, but\n\nyou don't trust me enough to tell me your best friend is a vampire...\"\n\n\"Brian you know it's a rule to tell people about vampires.\" Brian\n\ndidn't look at me he was about to say something, but Axel cut him off\n\n\"Kino you can tell other people that are dash were part of the\n\nsupernatural world. Brian was the one who was almost breaking a rule,\n\nbut you are part of the supernatural world so he didn't brake it\n\nknowingly. He just really trusted you enough to tell you the type of\n\nworld he was part of. Seeing the few council members who know what is\n\ngoing to happen might cheek on him, because of certain things he's tied too.\n\nIf things become way out of\n\ncontrol because of it then he would ether be killed or have his\n\nmemories wiped. But, he told you a person who is in the same world\n\nhe's part of. Well that's what I hear around town.\" I looked at Brian\n\nand he was crying not normal crying, but crying like he doesn't know\n\nit. He only does this when he thinks he's hiding his sadness. I took a\n\nstep towards him as he stepped back shaking his head. \"Brian I would\n\nhave told you.\" \"But you didn't. I told you everything I didn't care\n\nif people would have gotten mad. We've lived together for two years\n\nand I was able to trust you ever since and loved you ever since. But\n\napparently it was a one sided love. Seeing you didn't trust me enough\n\nto keep any of your secrets.\" \"Brian I do love you I really do.\" He\n\ncovered his ears crying more \"Shut up and get out!\" It was weird I\n\ncould feel something like sadness crawling all over my skin, and it\n\nwasn't my own. I think it belongs to Brian. \"Brian...\" \"Get out now!\n\nGhost get them out!\" I was about to reach out for Brian as Ghost came\n\nout with Noah. Ghost grabbed my body tossing me out the window. Noah\n\nand Axel were having a stare down, but Axel walked out the door. I\n\nlooked back at the house seeing Stephen, Noah, and Ghost. Looking\n\nstraight at me. Axel grabbed my hand pulling me away from the house as\n\none by one they all left the window. \"You can crash with me till this\n\nthing blows over ok?\" I didn't speak nor moved, but some how he was\n\nable to move me.\n\nBrian's words still ranged in my ears \"you didn't trust me enough to\n\nkeep any of your secrets.\" Sigh Axel gave me some soda, but I couldn't\n\ndrink it or eat anything. Axel sat in front of me \"Hey dude snap out\n\nof it.\" \"Why there's no point he doesn't trust me and probably hates\n\nme now.\" I began to cry slightly \"Dude remember what you told me\n\nbefore?\" \"No...\" \"You told me that you absolutely love him.\" \"That\n\ndoesn't matter anymore.\" \"Yes it does come on let's go back there and\n\nyou speak from your heart to him.\" I should, I should tell him\n\neverything every secret I may have he trusts me and I trust him and I\n\nso do love him hell I'll even marry him. \"I'll marry him.\" He laughed\n\nslightly and looked at me \"He may think that it's an impulse, but do\n\nyou really want to do this?\" He's right Brian might just reject me\n\nthinking I'm just doing it to make him feel better. Should I do it? I\n\nreally love him and if marrying makes him happy then I will marry him.\n\nGod I need to practice and shit. \"Axel will you help me in this?\" He\n\nsmiled and laughed slightly \"You know it Kino I'm going to do my best to\n\nhelp you.\" \"I need to go see if my boss will give me enough money to\n\nbuy a ring for him.\"\n\n\"Miss Cortez I have to ask for a favor.\" She looked at me with a\n\nsomewhat cold look \"Yes what is it?\" \"Can I have a raise?\" She looked\n\nat me and her cold look left \"Yes you have been working hard.\"\n\n\"And can I have an advancement on my pay.\" \"By how much?\" \"How much\n\nwould an engagement ring cost?\" She smiled happily \"Ah so your finally\n\nmarrying that boy well we're closed up so I'll come with you. What\n\ncolor does he like?\" \"Black it's our color. We made it our color.\" I\n\nsmiled slightly as she looked at me \"I'll ask him some more questions\n\nseeing it looks like my big strong bouncer is going to keep crying if\n\nI ask him more questions.\" \"No, it's going to be a surprise.\" \"Ah I\n\nsee well come on let's go to the jewelry shop and get you two a ring.\"\n\nMiss Cortez took the lead and showed us a place that were selling\n\nrings. I saw one that caught my eye it was a ring with black diamond\n\non top with white pearls circling it. The ring looked like demon's\n\nwings being pulled back to create an opening for the finger to slide\n\ninto. \"That's perfect.\" A man came over and pulled it and the one next\n\nto it out. It was almost the same but it had a clear white diamond\n\nwith black pearls circling it with angel's wings begin pulled\n\nback to create the opening. I wasn't sure, but I felt like the angel's\n\nwing one was calling out to me. The man looked at me and then glanced\n\nover at Miss Cortez. \"Well I was never going to sell these rings so\n\njust give me five hundred and I'll give you the boxes for them too.\" I\n\ngave him one thousand dollars and looked at me he didn't say anything.\n\nBut, he gave me the rings and two boxes the angel in white and demon in\n\nblack. The white box was white on the outside and baby blue inside,\n\nand the black was black on the outside with a gentle shade of red. I\n\nput on the angel ring on my finger and looked at it Axel spoke to me\n\n\"Kino it suits you. You know?\" I looked at it and it looked amazing. I\n\nlooked at Miss Cortez and Axel \"Thank you.\" They both smiled as Miss\n\nCortez walked out of the shop \"I should go open up now. Kino hun you\n\ndon't need to come to work for a while ok? Just think of that as a\n\nfavor for him.\" Axel looked at me \"She's one of the most nicest witch I've\n\never met.\" \"She's a witch?\" \"You never knew god dude catch up.\" \"Well\n\nwhat ever come on I have to get to Brian and ask him to marry me!\" I\n\nam over joyed. I hoped on my bike with Axel holding onto me as I drove\n\nto Brian my future.\n\nI drove up to our house to find it half destroyed. Axel stayed silent\n\nas I ran in \"Brian!\" I ran inside and saw Noah knocked out. He was\n\nbarely alive breathing heavily. I saw Axel picked him up as he grabbed\n\nthe scanner also. I saw Stephen on the floor twitching and Ghost\n\nbleeding like crazy right next to him. He began to speak \"I-I'm a\n\nfailure as a guardian...\" \"Where's Brian!\" \"They took him...\" He shut\n\nhis eyes and stopped moving. I didn't know how to cheek if he was\n\nstill alive. Axel took them all outside as I looked in our room. Who\n\never took him took him without much struggle, but Brian's necklace was\n\non the floor. I grabbed it and pulled out the floor board. Taking my gear out from it. I kept it a secret from Brian and walked outside where Axel was waiting. I was surprised to see Miss Cortez there \"I'll take these three back and see if I can't fix them\n\nup.\" \"Thank you Miss Cortez please take care of my children. Axel you\n\ngo with her. Axel do you know who got him?\" He looked at me a bit \"There's\n\na lot of human blood, but there is also vampire scent there. It's\n\npossible that they took him back to be used as bait later on.\" I\n\nclenched my fist \"I'm coming Brian!\" I screamed it as loud as I could\n\nso they could hear me. I will save you and risk my life for you. I\n\nturned on the scanner and saw he went east. I jumped onto my bike\n\nand kicked it in gear.
