Unfortunately, I don't even get to do that.\n\n I\nwould be in a better mood if I knew my Christmas was going to be\nbetter than this but it's not looking that way. It's Christmas\nEve and I'm sitting on the couch looking at our Christmas tree. It\nglimmers with all kinds of beautiful blues and purples and sparkles\non each and every royal blue branch; and it's\nnight time so the tree shines even more beautiful at night. I love\nmaking our tree shine more and more blue since our family's fur is\nblue. \n\n\n\nMom was going to be working late tonight and then when she gets home\nshe'll be waking up in a few hours to work the Christmas rush at\nthe restaurant. Being pretty much the only restaurant open every\nChristmas it was going to busy, there was no doubt about it. Plus, my\nolder brother is going to be hanging out with his friends for\nChristmas Eve, leaving me at the house all alone.\n\n\n\"You sure you don't wanna go? It'll be fun?\" Plancha says as\nhe puts a heavy coat and his boots on.\n\n\n\n\"Meh, it's your friends,\" I said, \"besides I think I'd\nrather just chill here by the tree than dragging your drunk tail to\nthe bathroom all night.\"\n\n\n\n\"Meh, suit yourself. Alright Silverback, have a good night here on\nthe couch, don't eat too many of the candy canes off the tree\nalright? Mom will be pissed.\"\n\n\n\n\"I won't,\" I grumbled a little under my breath as he left the\nhouse, closing the door behind him. I heard his car revving up and\nlooked out the window to see it back out of the driveway.\n\n\n\n\nI turned on my little portable heater and went back to relaxing on\nthe couch. I felt the heat push on me a little bit while my backside\nwas still very chilled. We don't have a whole lot of money and\nPlancha suggested getting a few of these heaters would be a lot\ncheaper than using the house's heater. It was cheaper, and honestly\nwasn't a bad idea. It didn't help my mom with money so much\nthough as I looked at the tree only to find no presents under it,\njust like every year. It's the same story, 'I can't afford to\nget you or your brother anything this year' says my mom. But I\nalways understand since she works hard for what we do have. But one\npresent would be nice.\n\n\n Ching.\nMy\ncell phone rang with a text message. I pulled it out of the pocket of\nmy sweatpants. As the name \"Zero\" popped up. It was my wonderful\nsilver wolfie who I loved so very much.\n\n I\nopened the message as it said: Hey\nLove, whatcha up to?\n\n I\ntexted back: I'm\nalright, just relaxing on the couch . . . all alone :(\n\n A\nfew minutes later he texts back: Aww\n.hugs. I'm right here love. This party is pretty boring, I wish I\nwas right there with you.\n\n I\ntexted him: Me\ntoo, But I'll be fine. .pets you.\n\n Even\nthough I wasn't doing so fine right now. Zero and I have been\ntogether for ten months so far but I've still had to keep him\nsecret from my family so they don't figure out I am gay. And it\nbothers me that Zero lives all the way in Arkansas, and I live here\nin New Mexico. This is going to be our first Christmas as a couple\nbut yet we can't physically be together. So it's hard to get all\nexcited for this holiday.\n\n Ching.\nHe\ntexts: .rubs\nmy head in the pets and murrs.\n\n I\nstart giggling. I love my silver wolf so much. He thought it was\nfunny that my name is Silverback but yet it's his fur that's\nactually silver.\n\n I\ntext him back: .hugs\nyou to keep you warm.\n\n\n\n I looked up at the tree to enjoy the bright blue and\npurple lights again. I thought about going back to my room to watch\nyoutube videos or something but I'd rather just stay here all night\nand just gaze at the tree.\n\n\n\n I quickly got up off the couch and ran down the hallway\nto my room and pulled off my bed spread and pillows and brought them\nback to my relaxing place. I laid the pillows at the edge of the\ncouch and pulled the blanket on me and opened my laptop. I put on my\nfavorite Christmas song \"Christmas is Here\" by Buckcherry and\njust relaxed as the song played through the little speakers on my\nphone.\n\n Ching.\nZero\nwrites: Hehe\naww .holds you.\n\n\n I\nlooked back under the tree where present's should be, but there was\nnothing but a thin red carpet and dusty air under the tree. Even\nthough it bothered me that everybody I knew, all my friends and\nco-workers were going to be having dinner with their friends and\nfamily and opening presents tomorrow morning and I wasn't having\nany of that, I didn't really want anything this year, at least not\nsomething.\nNo item could turn this around and make it a good Christmas for me,\nbut a person, one person could make this the greatest Christmas ever.\n\n\n I\ntexted him: I\nreally really really wish you were here right now. You would make\nthis the greatest Christmas ever! .kisses.\n\n A\nfew moments later he texts back: I\nknow. I wish I was there too. It's killing me that you're not\nhere with me .clings to you.\n\n\n I kept texting him for the next couple of hours, asking\nhow the party was going. It seemed pretty boring to him as nothing\nwas really going on. His niece got a tricycle and he played the white\nelephant game with his family. I started giggling when he texted me\nsaying he got a slinky.\n\n\n\n Even though the couch was comfortable and the tree was\ninviting I just couldn't shake this depression, nobody was around\nme and it made me sad. I typed in \"Penguins of Madagascar\" into\nthe youtube search and the first video that popped up was their\nChristmas episode. I remember watching it last year around this time,\nit talked all about \"Santa magic\" and using it to make a good\nChristmas.\n\n\n\n \"Boy I could use some Santa Magic right now?\" I\nsaid out loud to myself. I looked up at the room and looked around\nfor a second. For some reason I expected somebody to walk by, but of\ncourse nobody was here.\n\n\n Sigh.\n\"You know, I really don't care, I don't need presents, or a big\ndinner, or even my family around me. All I want for Christmas this\nyear is my mate to be right beside me. That's my fucking wish this\nyear!\" I was getting cranky. I looked down at the clock on my\ncomputer to see it read 11:53 p.m. It was probably time to go ahead\nand turn in for the night. I checked my phone again and I got two\ntexts from Zero. The first one saying: I'm\nhome. The\nsecond one saying: I'm\ntired love, I'm heading to bed. .kisses you. Nini\n\n I\nquickly texted back: Ok\nLove nini, I'll text you tomorrow .kisses. I love you\n\n I\nwas relieved to get a text back a moment later saying: I\nlove you 2.\nI didn't want to miss my wolfie before he went to bed. I laid my\nphone on the ground next to me and just lay me head on the pillow. My\neyelids were already getting heavy as my body started slowing down so\nI could fall asleep.\n\n* * *\n\n\n\n I turned over as my body pressed into the warm couch.\nMy brain started up and it realized it was Christmas. I opened my\neyes as I looked at the tree still shining bright. It was still night\nso I may have woken up at three in the morning or something and was\nprobably going to doze off again shortly. Until I realized I wasn't\nalone in the room anymore. I saw him. It was unmistakable. The red\ncoat and pants, the big black boots, and he had a big red bag over\nhis shoulder, Santa Paws.\n\n\n\n \"S-santa?\" I say.\n\n\n\n He turns around and looks at me, his brown eyes focused\non me, \"Oh, I'm sorry Silverback, did I wake you?\" he said with\na whisper. He took one step to me and gave me a little rub on my\nchest. He was a big polar bear and his beard was as white and long as\nI had seen on TV. Santa was actually real? I can't believe it. He\nsays, \"Hehe you're not supposed to see me, close your eyes pup.\nAnd don't worry you we're a good boy this year ho-ho-ho.\"\n\n\n\n I closed my eyes again and smiled as I turned over and\nburied my face in the pillow again so I could go back to sleep. I\ncould hear him walking gently over to the tree and then a moment\nlater walk past me as he opened the front door and gently closed it\nright behind him. It was silent once again and I was very close to\nfalling back to sleep when I started hearing snoring. \n\n\n\n\n My eyes opened up again. At first I thought it was my\nmom or my brother for a second but it sounded very close. I turned\nback around on the couch and saw something under the tree. It was a\nwolf curled up looking like a little silver furball under the tree.\nHis fur was moving up and down as he was snoring lightly a very cute\nsnore. His tail was laid peacefully on the floor; his shiny silver\nfur with a big red bow over his naked rump.\n\n\n\n It couldn't be . . . could it? I quickly got up and\nlaid next to him so we were face to face,\n\n\n\n \"Zero?\"\n\n\n\n His hazel eyes open, I've seen them on so many pics\nthat he's sent me but now they were here in front of me. \"\"Hehe,\noh hi love,\" he said reaching out as he pulled me close to him and\ngave me a little kiss on the lips. I almost broke the kiss because I\nwas so shocked he was here, touching me, feeling me, but he was\nhere. I felt his tongue wrap around mine in a warm embrace. It melted\nme. My tongue started to fight back as it swirled with his as it got\nreally warm. I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around his waist.\nOur eyes opened up again as we were chest to chest.\n\n\n\n \"How? Guh, how? Um, hehe how?\" I said.\n\n\n\n \"Hehe, you're the one who made the wish sillies,\"\nhe smiled wide at me.\n\n\n\n \"I know, but I didn't think it would, well, you\nknow.\"\n\n\n\n \"Hehe well I'm here.\"\n\n\n\n Tears rolled down my face as I buried my nose into his\nneck. I couldn't smell his scent but I didn't care, he was here\nwith me. \"Oh my God, I can't believe you are here.\"\n\n\n\n \"Well, I'm sorta here, hehe.\"\n\n\n\n \"I'm guessing this is a dream, right?\" My said\ntail laid down again.\n\n\n\n \"Hehe hun, I'm always in your heart, and don't\nworry Love I'm not going \n\n\nanywhere. It won't be this Christmas but we will be\ntogether very soon.\"\n\n\n\n \"Are,\" sniffles, \"Are you sure?\" I said with\ntwo more tears down my cheeks.\n\n\n\n \"Hehe yep, just be patient. We will be together soon\nenough.\"\n\n\n\n \"Okay, if you say so,\" I kissed him one more time.\nI never wanted him to leave and I don't know exactly when he was\ngoing to. But he was here at this very moment and I wasn't going to\nwaste my chance. I pulled him close with all my strength and kissed\nhim as deeply as I possibly could. He gave me a muffed moan as our\ntongues swirled for a second time. Tears kept going down my face as\nwe kissed. I finally let it go. Zero looked at me with a beautiful\nsmile and his tail was wagging against the big red bow. I giggle as I\nplayfully pull the bow off of his butt and stick it on top of my\nhead. Zero giggles as he looks at his naked butt and his tail wags\nfaster.\n\n\n\n He looked back at me and licked my face, \"You're so\nsilly,\" he said.\n\n* * *\n\n\n\n My eyes open up for Christmas morning . . and I was\nback on the couch. I looked around, the tree's light weren't as\nbright, it was daylight once again. I sat up and looked out the\nwindow. Snow on the ground, my mom's blue van in the driveway, and\nmy brother's car not there.\n\n \"I\nguess it was\njust a dream,\" I whined for a second as I rubbed my eyes. I looked\ndown at my phone as it read \"New Message from: Zero\" I quickly\npicked it up and opened it as it read: Merry\nChristmas my loving wolfie .kisses and puts a pair of antlers on you.\n\n I\ndidn't hesitate to text back: omg\nlove, I had the most awesome dream ever! You we're lying under\nchristmas tree and I got to kiss you!!! :))))))\n\n A\nfew minutes later he replied: Hehe\nsounds like an awesome dream I wish I could be under your tree right\nnow hehe .kisses.\n\n I\nreply: Hehe\nyou said we'd be together very soon. And I can't wait! I love you\n.kisses deeply.\n\n He\nsays: Hehe\nyes we will .raises mistletoe above us and kisses you. Merry\nChristmas hehe\n\n My\ntail wags faster as I replied to him: .kisses\nyou and puts a big red bow on your butt. Hehe Merry Christmas to you\ntoo love.\n"}
