I wrote this back in 2009 on Remembrance/Veterans day on my way to school and i started typing it out while on the Calgary transit train that heads up into the north east of the city, PLEASE no hate on this and please do not repost as it took me three days to finish it  
  
  
Glory for The Fallen

Glory to the fallen ones who have gone before us so that we may live in freedom  
As we honor those who have died and those who have survived the wars.  
Yet we honor those who die,  
With medals, wreaths and memorials, so we won't forget them  
So Glory to the Fallen and those who survived the wars.  
  
For all those who fight, is there no another way  
To settle differences  
To all those families who have suffered,  
To all those warriors past,  
And to all those who still fight, there is still Sympathy.  
  
For all the victims who died do to the wars,  
Compassion is still alive.  
  
For all those politicians,  
Who start wars for no other reasons than  
Financial, economic or personal gain.  
  
For all those who stand aside and watch,  
Please step in and help.  
So let us remember those who go before us,  
By remembering them with medals, wreaths, memorials,  
AND IN OUR HEARTS!!!!!!
