There isn't really any hidden meaning that I intended to write into this, its just what it is, union of two feral wolves. However, if you find cool hidden meaning in it, please leave a comment! I would be interested to see what this poem means to you ^^ I also have no idea what the rhyme scheme is or anything, I'm not really a poet, but it just sounds right lol. I hope you enjoy!","content":"_Feral_\n\n_A poem by Husky 2.0_\n\nI am the Wolf,\n\nswift and strong.\n\nMy lonely soul\n\nis filled with song.\n\nBlack as shadow,\n\nfleet of feet.\n\nOur eyes lock,\n\nand two souls meet.\n\nFur of neck\n\nstands firm and tall,\n\nand from my heart\n\nescapes a call.\n\nAnd this deep call\n\nDraws from my soul,\n\nlonging, loneliness,\n\nand woe.\n\nSuch things dispel\n\ninto the night;\n\nfor, in your eyes\n\nI see no fright.\n\nYou are surely\n\nfriend, not foe.\n\nThis I realize.\n\nThis I know.\n\nPaws crawl forward\n\nwithout thought\n\ntoward the friend\n\nI long have sought.\n\nHeart is racing;\n\nquickened pulse.\n\nMind hopes judgments\n\nare not false.\n\nFaster, faster\n\nmy feet bound;\n\ntail behind me,\n\nbrushing ground.\n\nI dashed then stopped,\n\nand sat, and gazed.\n\nIgneous eyes\n\nset soul ablaze.\n\nSly, but friendly grin\n\nI saw.\n\nA silver liquid\n\ndripped from your maw.\n\nImpaled by teeth\n\nlay slew, fresh meat.\n\nMy stomach churned\n\nwith will to eat.\n\nAnd then,\n\nto my surprise, I saw\n\nthe fresh, raw kill\n\nfall from your maw.\n\nThrough eyes,\n\nmy famine you had sensed.\n\nClearly I understood now\n\nwhence\n\ncame all your sympathy\n\nFor I,\n\nyour sought soul mate,\n\nyour new ally.\n\nSo as a gesture\n\nof my decree,\n\nI raised my tail\n\nand sang to thee.\n\nAnd when you joined\n\nChorus with I,\n\nI felt my sad soul\n\ntouch Night's sky.\n\nAnd with our teeth\n\nthe meat was torn.\n\nIt made us fresh,\n\nalive, reborn.\n\nAnd when the meal\n\nwas finished, done;\n\nour muscles stronger\n\nthan the sun,\n\ntwo black figures\n\nin the night\n\nchose a path;\n\nslipped out of sight.\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
