I can relate to most of this since my cousin is going through the same thing. For anyone who is hurting because of bullying.","content":"Can you even comprehend\n\nTo be broken\n\nTo be the victim\n\nWhat a lovely life\n\nThey say a tear is worth a thousand words\n\nBut can't you see how much she hurts\n\nTo be left alone\n\nWhile everyone just stands around\n\nPoint the finger at you\n\nAnd laugh along with the crowd\n\nShe holds her tears in\n\nFearing that it might show as a weakness\n\nShe bottles her emotions in\n\nNot telling a soul on what's going on\n\nToo afraid of telling her parents\n\nFearing that the verbal abuser will retaliate\n\nShe went up to her principal\n\nTrying to get help on her situation\n\nWhen the principal had the nerve\n\nTo look her in the eye\n\nAnd said \"It's a phase, get over it\"\n\nHaving exhausted all her resources\n\nShe goes home with tears in her eyes\n\nWriting a note on a piece of paper\n\nSaying her final goodbye\n\nShe grabs her father's 12 gauge shotgun\n\nLoads it\n\nPoints it at her head\n\nAnd fires away without a second thought\n\nAs her heart starts to flatline\n\nQuestions start flying in\n\nLike no other tomorrow\n\nWondering why no one helped\n\nWhy no one stood up for her\n\nIs it because of fear\n\nOr is it because\n\nIf we stand up for somebody\n\nThey are immediately crucified\n\nAnd treated like an outsider\n\nThis happens everyday\n\nYet we keep ignoring it\n\nLike the plague\n\nWhere school is no longer about education\n\nBut more to do with popularity\n\nFor those who are within this type of situation\n\nWho think that there is no hope\n\nDon't give up\n\nDon't believe in the lies\n\nBecause somewhere inside you\n\nThere is something that is struggling\n\nFighting for the right to live\n\nWhile I can't promise you\n\nThat things will be better\n\nThe chaos that we were engulfed in\n\nShall pass in time\n\nSo grab on to my hand\n\nAnd I'll guide you towards the sunrise\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/617454-voices-of-the-silenced.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/631822-twenty-four.json"}}
