Ill leave it to you people to decide.\nJust give it a look over, and tell me what you think","content":"Puppy Love\n\nBy: anonymous\n\n.\n\n.\n\nI creep from my safe haven made from cold dark strands of metal\n\nYour voice is such a sweet sound that brings joy to my boney spine when you call to me\n\nRestless, I scurry to your side\n\n.\n\nYou stroke the strands from my head and scratch my ears oh so caringly\n\nMy nose is met by your lavish scent of food and a strong numbing scent from the elixir\n\nLaughing you wave your hands and give me your scraps as your mate growls\n\nI attempt to please the both of you with my usual performance\n\n.\n\nRolling, speaking, dancing, and embracing your powerful loving hands\n\nMy knees become weak as you continue to embrace me\n\nYour voice becomes loud as you sing your sweet song to pull me into the ocean\n\nA siren, a sweet siren that I cannot part from\n\nI am soaked.\n\n.\n\nWords engulf me of our pack leader\n\nThe one that commands my owners\n\nHe who keeps me on this solid rock to set me for life\n\nAuthor of these hymns that show no remorse\n\nThe cause of this unending nectar I swallow\n\n.\n\nLeaving our den, I surround myself with other of my kind\n\nWe speak of toys, owners and games to play\n\nThey seem uncomfortable around me\n\nIs it my fur they are afraid of?\n\nOr is it the love marks engraved by myself?\n\nThey cannot be trusted, my owners said so, I must stay silent\n\nOh Atticus, you need not try to save me from the Ewells\n\nFountains trickle from my eyes as they insult the ones who love me the most\n\nI am soaked.\n\n.\n\nThe poison ivy flourishes as tiny parasites travel\n\nA glass paradise emits rainbows\n\nGentle clouds dance away into the distance\n\nLife of a mutt, the fleas whisper to me\n\nI return to the den.\n\n.\n\nYour face changes as the scent of the elixir sprays from your lips\n\nBurning with passion you embrace me like before\n\nMy bones crack from the abundance\n\nNo longer able to contain my love, my fur becomes a passionate red\n\nI am soaked.\n\n.\n\nMy claws hug the ground that becomes drenched with my heart\n\nI have to please you more so I scream my love for you\n\nYou enjoy it and I crow even more as my spine moves left to right\n\nMy knees become weak while I glorify you with my pores sweating\n\nI am soaked.\n\n.\n\nHolding me tightly you look at me, then somewhere else\n\nI am calm, loved, happy\n\nYou purge me and I scurry back to my haven to curl up\n\nSmiling as I enter, I fall asleep to listen to your sweet song burn me away\n\nI am dry forever more.\n\n.\n\n.\n\n.\n\nThis was a poem about child abuse.\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
