Please provide feedback, as I hope to continue editing and making these acceptable for publication.","content":"Yes, I remember vivid moments now,\n\nWe talked and drank into the misty dawn,\n\nI even hear the voices as we ran\n\nBy water's side on wettest summer lawn.\n\nI see the footprints as I remember.\n\nI feel the way you were, the way you would,\n\nAnd tried to believe everything I should,\n\nBut as you know it isn't any good.\n\nThis is something that can't be understood.\n\nNo, I remember all the shouts of joy,\n\nWhen skiing fast through all those open woods,\n\nI also hear the echoes when I learned\n\nYour love for life, I felt the way you would,\n\nAnd your presence, I remember so well.\n\nI feel the way you were, the way you would,\n\nAnd I find it just can't be understood.\n\nAnd I try to believe, but it's no good,\n\nTo remember is only thing I could.\n\nAnd then suddenly you were simply gone,\n\nFrom all those lives you'd left your mark upon.\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/630245-across-the-divide.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/630251-for-these-things-i-cry.json"}}
