Please provide feedback, as I hope to continue editing and making these acceptable for publication.","content":"Obstructions, strewn across the narrow path,  \nLeave no alternative but going back.  \nThese obstacles, prevent a forward march,  \nIt's rugged armour without hole or crack.  \nA barricade, inhuman guardian,  \nWithstands the pleas of traveler's request.  \nYou barrier, unmoved by shouts and cries,   \nDenies the pilgrim's passionate behest.  \n  \nThe mind rebels against the wall.  \n  \nFrustration builds as days amount to months,  \nThese meager attempts  \nNever produce fruit.  \nThe disappointment covers past success,  \nOnce eager worker  \nEver stagnating.  \n  \nDetermination guides my frozen hand  \nAway from failure's agonizing grasp  \nAnd pushes back at spiteful thought blockage -  \nThough moving onward  \nMay still feel awkward.  \n  \nBy striving I shall break this artist's curse,  \nWith measured steps to lift lingering pall.  \nThis torment can't outlast perseverance,  \nI'll adjust sadness  \nUntil it's gladness.  \n  \nStruggle with the wall.  \n  \nI'll find another way  \nAnd break this addled day,  \nAlternative passage  \nBecomes my new adage.  \nTo think my journey barred  \nImplies the task's too hard,  \nRefuse to turn around  \nMy feet and hold my ground.\n\n\u0026nbsp;Now's the time to prepare  \nAnd plan attack with care,  \nNo hindrance made of stone  \nWill shake me to the bone.  \nMy strategy is set  \nOn objective to get,  \nThis hurdle I'll surmount  \nWith steady rhythmic count.  \n  \nI'm on a one-way accelerator  \nAnd there is no chance  \nI can slow it down.  \nMy trajectory keeps me going on  \nAnd here I'm running  \nShy of breaking sound.  \n  \nThe wall falls.  \n  \nThe barrier is breached  \nAnd other side is reached,  \nMy effort finds reward  \nBehind that rocky board.  \nThis momentary peace  \nWith creative release,  \nI sit and write my thought  \nOn that which struggle brought.  \n  \nBut I must journey forth  \nToward poetic north,  \nTo where my compass shows  \nI'll bask in overflows.  \nMy craft will lead the way  \nInto inventive day,  \nFor now I must survive,  \nAnd keep my art alive.  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/630938-amber-scenery.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/631663-boo.json"}}
