More emotional than anything. The funny thing it's not my past that is bothering me. More with just self esteem than anything. While i tend to post vent journals once in a while, I never share my true emotions with anyone. I guess that Im actually afraid to cry since I always believed that it was a weakness. Just a vent poem i guess. This isn't a poem to feel sorry for me or whatever. Just a lot going on.","content":"Fighting under the night again\n\nTo be heard or to never be seen\n\nAnother dance with the enemy inside\n\nLock you out and never feel again\n\nGrinding the gears until they break\n\nHold it in and let it consume\n\nFake the smile and deny\n\nNothing is wrong\n\nThe bomb ticks away\n\nCounting down the time\n\nOf losing my sanity\n\nThrough the magnetic pulses\n\nLooked in the mirror\n\nSeeing the ashes that ruin\n\nThe stained glass window\n\nThat once was beautiful\n\nIf I could learn not to be afraid\n\nMaybe then I could truly express on how I feel\n\nPerhaps then I could learn to release my emotions\n\nAnd not have to worry what others think\n\nI tend to bottle everything In\n\nMaking sure that I have full control of my emotions\n\nBut It's because that I have held it in for so long\n\nThat I have become a slave to my own emotions\n\nI tend to think of the freedom\n\nOf what it's like to be free from my own personal hell\n\nTo finally be clear\n\nOf the storm that rages in my head\n\nBecause I know one day\n\nI will finally understand\n\nThat it's okay to express myself truly\n\nAnd know that crying is not a weakness\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/631822-twenty-four.json"}}
