Every year I do this!\" Mew answered, \"It is my only tradition!\"  \n\"Surely we could celebrate it without hampering our mission?\"  \nIt had been a trying year, fighting Deoxys with her life at stake  \nBefore moving on to debating Lugia, she felt she needed a break\n\n\"Forget it,\" Lucario muttered with a hint of dismay  \n\"It's not all it's cracked up to be, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day,\"  \nDisappointment was all he recalled, but it seemed appreciated by others  \nHe figured it was by those with genuinely nice fathers and mothers!\n\nAnd so their conversation ended, and Mew sighed with lament  \nThis year, there was to be no celebration or soul-searching event  \nFocusing on their journey, she prayed that she would be blessed  \nWith at least one more happy Christmas before her eternal rest\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Mew's Christmas Carol","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/477644-mewthree-s-christmas-carol-epilogue.json"}}
