# Hollow(poem)

My heart floats on an empty ocean filled with my emotions 

It shows my true devotion 

it communicates in locomotion

my heart begins to spasm and sway within this empty ocean 

and color the sky with my true emotions

like a tree I am hollow and soon will follow with a large swallow 

deep into the dark depths of my swallow an empty little hollow shell of a man

who is not yet man but no where close to being a boy 

he is not some type of toy even though he is made of wood

rotten and decaying from the termites like he should

dissipating into the thin hollow air

as it sits in the breeze without a single care 

and it seems life truly isn't fair

does it really seem like anyone cares
