The smell of sausage  \ndrifted through the air. He put his hands behind his red head fur and grinned. His first day of  \nschool. He wasn't usually happy for the beginning of school but summer was dull and he was  \nmoving up to the high school.  \n\"I wonder if there gonna remember me?\" thought Craig as the memories his friends flooded  \nhis head. A female fox with semi-long curly hair that always looked unkept was his bestfriend  \nSam. Sam had more of a masculine feel to her. She usually wore something baggy or something that  \nwasn't tight. And then there was Jason. Craig chuckled to himself as he remembered all the things  \nthey did together yet he used hate to him. Its so strange how time can change people.  \n\"Craig come on lets go!\" boomed a voice from downstairs.  \n\"Im going im going god mom!\" yelled back Craig. He got up from his bed and walked  \ntoward the mirror. His bed was small but he hated to complain and make his mom pay  \nfor something as useless as a bed. There in enough debt as is. \"All I have to do is put on  \nsome clothes and im done!\"  \n\"Well hurry up and if you give me that tone again all your gonna remember is a bright  \nlight!\"  \n\"Whatever mom!\" Craig sighed and looked into the mirror. He looked at his stomach  \nwhich came out from his body. Everyone had said he was skinny but he didn't think so.  \nHe weighed about one hundred twenty eight pounds in which most of it was muscle. He  \nwanted a six pack but no matter what he tried he couldnt get it. \"Oh well.\" said Craig to  \nhimself. He looked at his head fur. It was short and the red dye made it intense. It seemed almost  \nas if his hair was really on fire. Craig made a muscle in the mirror. The ripples of skin shown  \nclearly through his grey fur. He had larger biceps then other he knew and got the tough guy  \nappearance thanks to them. He had never actually fought anyone but it was cause most people were  \nafraid they'd get killed if he did fight them. He liked it though. Craig stared at his eyes. They were  \nhazel but at the moment they were green.  \n\"Come on Craig hurry up!\" came his moms voice form downstairs again.  \n\"Okay mother!\" Craig stopped looking at himself and went to his dresser. The dresser was  \nwood with three draws which was sorted to fit each type of his clothes. Top underwear, middle  \nshirts, and third pants. It was basic order but it worked. He opened the second draw and  \ntook out a regular black shirt. He lifted it over his head showing his black armpit fur which  \ncovered his whole armpit. He put it on and took off his pants. Under it was a pair of  \ncomplete black boxers revealing his bulge. Slowly he reached down to the third draw and  \nopened. Last time he opened it the draw feel out. Cautiously he opened it.  \nCraig breathed out and took out a pair of black pants. Before he had left the old  \nschool he told his friends he would be uber goth. He held to that promise and bought a  \nwhole new wardrobe. All of it completely black. Some were just regular black and other  \nhad designs which usual had a red mark or design on it.  \nHe once again walked to the mirror. He looked himself over. Everything seemed as  \nit should.  \nEverything was black on him. Even his nails which were long and claw shaped. He  \nhad put black nailpolish on a while ago. The only thing that wasn't black was his grey fur  \nthat covered his body and his short flaming red hair. He stared for a second and  \nwondered. He was missing something but what? An idea flashed through his head. His  \nchoker. How could he forget about that. His eyes searched his room. A glare form metal  \nin the sun caught his eye.  \n\"Oh there you are!\" He walked to the glare and picked it up from the ground. He  \nrubbed the cold metal against his face and put it around his neck. It clicked and he let go.  \nThe look was complete now.  \n\"Are you done yet?!\" came his moms voice seeming angrier then before.  \n\"Yes just get off my back already!\" yelled Craig back as he grabbed the golden  \ndoor knob. It was cold as was the metal piece of the choker. He turned the knob and  \nopened the door. The scent of cooking sausages swept over him making his stomach  \ngurgle. HE held his stomach and hurilly ran to the staircase dodging mirrors and draws.  \nCraig made it to the staircase and flew down them.  \n\"So close, so close!' thought Craig as his wild dash was brought to an abrupt halt  \nby his mothers paw. A loud smack rang through the house as if there was a thunder  \nstorm. Craig held the side of his mussle in pain \"Ow what the hell was that for!?\"  \n\"For disrespecting me. I told you if you disrespect me again all your gonna see is a  \nbright light!\" answered Craigs mom. She was right about a bright light. Her fur was snow  \nwight. She used to have a heavyweight figure until she had gotten a surgery Craig was  \nafraid of. If he lost her hed lose everything. Craigs mom was now extremely skinny  \ncompared to her appearance before hand. Her long brown hair hung to about her waist  \nbut at the moment it was kept up by a green scrunchy. She stared at him with her dirt  \nbrown eyes. \"Well!?\"  \n\"Well what!?\" Said Craig still rubbing his mussle.  \n\"Apologize!\" yelled his mom.  \n\"For what your the one who hit me!?\" whined Craig.  \nShe continued to stare at him. The same creepy stare shed give him everytime she  \nwanted to admit the truth or to get what she wants.  \nCraig grinned and began to chuckle. He always did that when his mother would  \nbore into his head with her stare. He sighed \"Im sorry mother.\" He loved to say that to  \nher. It seemed to the equilivant of her stare.  \n\"I hate when you say that,\" said Craigs mom as she stopped staring and walked to  \nthe table.  \nCraig shrugged and followed \"And I hate when you stare so were even.\"  \nCraigs mom moved to the stove and took the sausages off the skillet and placed  \nthem evenly on both plates. Craig scarved down them down in a matte of seconds and  \nput the plate in the sink \"Thanks mom.\" He walked to the front door which was next to  \nthe kitchen entrance and found his shoes near the door. They were stanley steel toes.  \nBasically black and gothic. He loved them. He slipped them on and stood. The boots  \nclanked on the floor as he began to walk. The seemed heavier then before. His hand  \nreached for the deadbolt and unlocked it then opened the door. The hot air of summer  \nswept in brushing against his mussle. \"Bye mom,\" yelled Craig as he stuck one foot out  \nof the door.  \nHis moms voice returned \"Im working late tonight.\"  \n\"How late?\" asked Craig. He loved having his mom work late. Especially since his  \nsister is in Florida with his aunt. Now he can talk to his online boyfriend Nick. \"Oh yea  \nhow can I forget all the lions waiting for me in 'the room',\" His pants began to get tighter.  \n\"Oh crap,\" thought Craig as he moved his shirt in front of his increasingly large bulge. He  \nchecked himself over again being sure nothing was left out. \"Choker, black pants, black  \nshirt, stee-,\" His thought were interrupted by the yelling of his mom \"Hurry up! I swear if  \nyou miss the bus im gon-,\" Craig did just as she did to his thought and closed the door in  \nmid-sentence. He walked down the street grinning. Trees were on the side of the street.  \nAlmost all the houses looked the same. His mom wanted to move here for some stupid  \nreason. Craig had forgotten what it was but he knew it had to stupid. The reason being  \nthat she wanted to get him away from the complex where he used to live. Craig grunted  \nand said under his breath with a sarcastic tone \"Yea the complex is real harsh.\" He  \nwalked to the end of the block and stood there awaiting the bus. It seemed late this time  \nthough. \"Maybe its just cause im used to walking.\" He shrugged and sat on a near by  \nbench. It was a cement grey all over. He thought of it as just a regular bench just like  \neverything else. He gazed around the houses \"Damn conformists.\" The wheels of the  \nbright yellow bus hitting the pavement echoed through the street as it came to a halt in  \nfront of Craig. He stared up and gazed at the windows. It was strange. No one seemed  \nto be on the bus yet. He shrugged and walked to the bus. The door slid open and a vixen  \nsmiled down at him \"Are you the new kid?\" asked the bus driver.  \nCraig nodded and boarded the bus. The smell of the leather bus seats baking in the  \nsun filled the air. Craig walked down the row of seats and came to the last row and sat  \ndown. The seat was was warm and comfortable. He leaned his back against the back  \nrest and breathed deeply as he closed his eyes.  \n\"Oh my god is that you Craig?\" Craig opened his eyes and looked into the direction  \nof the voice. A pair of brown eyes gazed at him. It was a fox. She wore a baggy MY  \nCHEMICAL ROMANCE shirt and baggy blue jeans. Her hair was dirty blond and looked  \nas if she had never showered. \"Holy shit Sam is that you?\" he squinted his eyes and  \nfinally pieced her face to the old one he had seen in school before he had moved.  \nCraig moved and hugged her. It had been so long since they talked. He had never  \nactually had the chance to say good bye since they basically up and left.  \n\"Why are you on the bus? I thought you were a walker?\" asked Sam staring at him.  \n\"Cause my mom made me move,\" said Craig looking away. He hated having people  \nstare at him. It reminded him of his mother.  \n\"God, Craig doesn't your mom let you make decisions on your own,\" Sam gave a  \nCraig a look. He looked up and then looked down indicating yes. The bus stopped again  \nand two more antros stepped on. A lioness and a bear. He didn't bother studying there  \nfeatures since he wasn't the type to go up and introduce himself. Instead he once again  \nlaid his head on the rest and closed his eyes.  \n\"Sam can you please just leave me alone right now. I want to think.\"  \nSam gave him a look and then sighed \"You know what fine Craig. I will probably  \nsee you in a class or something!\"  \n\"Thanks,\" said Craig under his breath. He felt himself getting comfortable and then  \nhe slowly fell into slumber.  \n  \n  \n\n"}
