This is a little piece inspired by my deep love for my mate Goldenwolf. It came to me spontaneously. But why it came in the form of a Norse edda, I cannot say. So for those who are fans of Goldenwolf or ancient epic Norse prose poems, or just the insatiably curious, I give you a Germanic poem in the style of Beowulf or Snorri Sturlson about passion. Lo! Harken unto me!/I sing an edda of love and loyalty

Furred companions/Sun-hued and dark shaded

Wolfclad wanderers/Distant lives but close at heart

Twined by the gods/And closer than kin

Sweet in face/And sweeter in love's sensual embrace

Bonded as wolves and men/Golden's wyrd is to seek his love's hall and hearth.
