#5 of My Poems

another short one.

To think that when life ends,
 that end to this journey,
 means no more pain,
 even if i'm gone.
Sometimes, i wish it to end,
 As the pain mounts higher,
 Digging into my soul.
 As i cry to sleep,
 Weeping salt down my cheeks,
Why would the powers test me so?
The pain mounts, growing harder to ignore,
In my head, i can feel so much more.
The people in pain around me,
Like molten glass in my skull!
