#10 of My Poems

another of my poems. not much i can say, some of these i wrote long ago. Edit:for some reason, sometimes it messes up the first line when i upload it.

The fatigue consumes me,   
 Trying to drive me down,  
 As every movement hurts and drains me,   
 I find my precious memories leaving me.  
 As it dawns on me, what I'm losing,   
 i struggle to keep what i value more then anything.  
 I feel like my time is growing shorter,   
 even as i forget these words.  
 I wish i could just go out,   
 To sit in the warming sun,   
 basking in it's radiance and warmth.  
 I feel like crying, because finally, Finally i understand.  
 As i feel my bonds strengthen,   
 my family, everyone i love,   
 Help me in my weakest moments  
 Guide me through each day,  
 The loving care they always show.  
 Sometimes, a thank you doesn't feel enough.
