Forbidden Love

I would just sit in a chair

In the park near a big tree. 

Waiting as the day goes by,

For the love that I couldn't see.

He always made my feelings flare,

Whenever he sat beside me.

There were nights when we would lie  

In the park with the daisys.

He'd run his paw through my fur 

And our lips would meet.

He would look directly into  my eye

And then at the stars above.

Today no one knew where we were.

We ran away with our bare feet, 

To a place where morals die.

To be with my forbidden love.
