Just a short one containing some of my thoughts about music and what it says about people. My favorite genre is symphonic rock/metal by the way. :]","content":"* * *\n\nThey say that you can tell a  \nlot about a person by what   \ntype of music they listen to.  \nWhat types of songs they prefer.  \nWhat musical genres they like   \nbest and what band are their   \nfavorites.\n\nSometimes their choices are   \na reflection of who they are.  \nCalm, relaxed, complex,  \nfilled with turmoil, angry,  \ndepressing, sad, beautiful,   \nhappy or disturbed.\n\nSometimes their choices  \nare the total opposite of   \nwhat you would expect.\n\nThe happy preppy girl  \nshuns pop and prefers   \nmetal.\n\nThe goth guy sitting of  \nin the corner by himself  \npractices opera when  \nhe knows that no one   \nelse is listening.\n\nThe old lady in the  \nsupermarket drives home  \nblasting rap music out   \nof her windows.\n\nThe girl who hides her  \nfeelings behind poems  \ncloses her eyes to rock and  \nmetal arranged into an elegant   \nsymphony of sound. Because  \nit's complexity reminds her  \nof how beautiful the world  \ncould be if only we would   \ntake the time to listen instead   \nof condemning that which we   \ndon't understand.\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"National Poetry Writing Month","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/691595-soul-mates.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/692285-blackfish.json"}}
