{"sf1_id":693395,"sf2_id":"rm82J9Y1","title":"I thought that I knew you","author":"NoctisIgnem","words":262,"posted_at":"2014-04-15T16:27:00.000Z","tags":["Hardship","Poem","Relationship","invisible"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/693395-i-thought-that-i-knew-you","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/s/rm82J9Y1","image_url":"https://cdn.sofurryfiles.com/submissions/thumbnails/c3/5c/c35c4261-d18c-412d-b617-d26e2e32a979","description":"#5 of Poetry\n\nAn older work of mine, made it when I was feeling a bit frustrated and sad about how my \"attempted\" relationship went.","content":"I thought that I knew you,  \nand the things that you did;  \nYet when I get closer,  \nyou behave like a kid.  \nAbout how some people,  \nhaven't always been fair;  \nLike mistreated your feelings  \nand haven't always been there.\n\nSo I lend you my shoulder,  \nand listen to your pain;  \nAbout broken relationships,  \nand why they end in vain.  \nYou say you want someone,  \nwho can listen and understand;  \nAnd after you said that,  \nyou softly took my hand.\n\nI knew about your feelings,  \nand you knew about mine;  \nand every time that we met,  \nI wished they would last for all time.  \nBecause when you are in my arms,  \nand I smell your soft hair;  \nDuring all those peaceful moments,  \nit's only you about whom I care.\n\nSo I wish to protect you,  \nwith my body and soul;  \nBecause seeing you happy,  \nthat is my only goal.  \nBut you yourself,  \naren't acting this way;  \nYou are having a good time,  \nand I have to pay.\n\nBy neglecting those who care,  \nyou are becoming what you hate;  \nLosing even more close friends,  \nwith every douche bag that you date.  \nSo now for the last time,  \nI will tell you the truth;  \nStop F\\*cking with my mind  \nif I may be so rude.\n\nSo from this moment on,  \nI will simply don't care;  \nWhen you come to me for some help,  \nbecause somebody wasn't fair.  \nI will look you in the eyes,  \nAnd tell you very sound  \nWell now you finally know how it feels,  \nwhen someone thinks your feelings do not count\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/693391-dream-me-and-i.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/693396-the-wish.json"}}
