Not only does it look amazing but one of the species you can play as is known as the Exo. Self-aware machines that have been rebooted and in the process lost their memories and forgotten their original purpose.\nNot only does the concept art look awesome but I loved the idea of being able to actually play as a machine instead of having them as the enemy. That's how this poem came about. There isn't much known about the Exo right now so I tried to make the poem more questioning and ambiguous.\nEnjoy!","content":"* * *\n\nSinister. \nMerciless. \nPowerful. \nTireless. \nMachine.\n\nWhat is our purpose? \nWhy were we created? \nWho is it that rebooted us? \nWho turned us back on leaving \nus to wander without memories \nor a reason for our existence?\n\nWas it humans? \nThe Awoken? \nWas it The Traveler who \nmaintains its silent protective \nwatch over Earth's final city?\n\nWas it someone else with \nreasons we have yet to understand?\n\nWere we mankind's friends? \nOr their enemies?\n\nDid we extend civilization out \ninto the stars together?\n\nOr did we stand on opposite \nsides of a conflict only they remember?\n\nThe Exo have no mercy for the weak. \nNo patience for those who cannot \nkeep up.\n\nOur purpose may be lost but \nwe shall forge a new one underneath \nthe protection of The Traveler.
