Where's Rowen,\" Gnar asked her daughter, puzzled.\n\n\"He's going to wait for me at the forest path,\" Kira explained.\n\n\"Oh. What do you need, honey?\"\n\n\"Do you mind if we go to the springs? The one near the lake? I haven't bathed in a few days, and Rowen hasn't properly bathed for weeks, he said. This will be the first time going to a spring.\" Kira was hopeful.\n\n\"Hm... Okay.\" Gnar smiled at her daughter.\n\n\"Do you mind if we stay after dark and watch the stars?\"\n\n\"Sure, but please be careful. Don't be out too late. Please.\"\n\nKira yipped in excitement, \"What shall I get you for dinner?\"\n\n\"What?\"\n\n\"I need to say I asked you what you wanted for dinner, just in case he asks.\"\n\n\"Doesn't matter. Here, take this,\" Gnar handed Kira a large basket, and two fluffy towels.\n\n\"Thanks mom!\" Kira stuffed the towels into the basket.\n\n\"How about a foodicide ball?\"\n\n\"Ugh! Did you truly have to remind me of that devilish creation?\" Kira complained.\n\nWith a wink, Gnar sent Kira skipping out, back to her mate.\n\n\"Hey, hon,\" Rowen touched noses with Kira, \"What took so long?\"\n\n\"Hi!\" she made an affectionate growling sound, \"I was asking mother what she wanted to eat for dinner, and I had to gather what we needed.\" she raised the basket.\n\n\"Oh! Good idea! Let's go!\"\n\nThe cubs walked through the forest and just past the lake; they didn't say much, they were really too excited.\n\n  \n\n\"Here we are,\" Kira put her paws out in front of her, as if she were presenting something that she, herself, had created.\n\nRowen looked ahead at the sparkling ponds that were engulfing the area in a warm steam, bubbling occasionally.\n\nThere was a small stream that ran immediately behind the springs. This section was still in the forest, it reminded him. It made the most relaxing sound. No trees invaded this small space, though, allowing golden sunlight to beam down onto the pools, as if it were shone down from heaven. The water sparkled and was incredibly clean and clear. The cleanliness of this water put even the clearness and cleanliness of their lake to shame.\n\n\"Woah! This is spectacular! Kira lo-\"\n\nHe saw Kira folding her dazzling dress up and replacing it where the towels had been in the basket. She lifted her undershirt, slithering out of her panties and gracefully into the inviting waters of the spring.\n\n\"Come on Rowen! I know you don't plan on wearing your new clothes in the pool!\" She took off her jade encrusted circlette.\n\nStripping out of his clothes, he covered himself with a paw and awkwardly ran over to the spring, blushing.\n\nHe stuck his foot in, forgetting that it would be hot.\n\nHe felt the warmth and quickly pulled his foot away. He looked at Kira who held her eyes closed, simply enjoying the calm.\n\nHe mustered his courage and plunged his foot in, biting back a yelp that quickly turned into a pleasured moan.\n\n\"Ah.\" Rowen sighed as the water's warm embrace reached his neck.\n\nKira wrapped her arms around him and sat on his lap weightlessly.\n\n\"It feels so good! You were right about everything, Kira!\" Rowen kissed her.\n\nKira straddled him, arms wrapped around his neck, \"If you think this is amazing, wait until tonight.\" she said, suggestively.\n\n\"Tonight?\"\n\n\"We can bathe and watch the stars tonight.\"\n\n\"Really? Wow! This will be great!\" Rowen took a tongue to her neck.\n\n\"Shall we bathe?\" Kira floated to the side, holding his paw. \"Couple's baths are so romantic.\" she dunked Rowen's head under the water, following him under.\n\nRowen wasn't expecting it, but he complied.\n\nThey lifted their heads out of the water, dripping from their snouts.\n\n\"You help clean me, I'll help clean you.\" Kira proposed.\n\n\"Um...\" Rowen was nervous.\n\n\"Don't worry, we will clean personal places ourselves.\"\n\nRowne sighed a sigh of relief.\n\n\"Come on.\" She unwrapped her arms around his back and began to massage him.\n\nRowen followed, rubbing her muscular sides, gently caressing her chest, and lovingly massaging her thighs.\n\nShe moaned, cleaning him as well.\n\nHe kissed her lips, \"You have the cutest moans.\"\n\nShe ignored his comment and began simply feeling him.\n\nRowen carried Kira over to the natural muddy step on the other side of the spring, standing her up.\n\nRowen began massaging her calfs, licking the side of her cheeks and upper outer thighs. He smelled faint traces of sweat too; it was new. He kept on licking.\n\n\"Okay babe, stop for a second, let me clean myself. You should do the same. They found opposite ends of the small springs. Facing away from each other, they cleaned themselves. Suddenly, Rowen heard a moan. He looked over at Kira.\n\n\"Dammit Rowen!\" Kira began, \"You made me all sensitive! It's hard to clean myself after your affection.\n\n\"Sorry!\" he turned to look, forgetting.\n\n\"Don't look!\" She closed her legs, hiding her exposed flesh.\n\n\"Sorry!\" he was one big shade of red. \"Didn't see anything!\"\n\nUpon hearing another moan, he walked backwards to her.\n\n\"What are you-\"\n\nRowen picked Kira up. She blushed a red he'd never seen before; may it be from a\n\nmixture of fluster, confusion, and embarrassment. He sat her butt on the step so he could look around more freely, \"There.\"\n\nKira could only blush. \"I guess you can be over here, but just turn around, please.\"\n\nShe laid a paw on his shoulder as she cleaned her private parts. She moaned as she felt\n\nthe corner of the soap on her skin, clenching Rowen's shoulder.\n\nRowen politely waited until she was done until she finished.\n\n  \n\nRowen held Kira by her butt as she sat on his lap.\n\n\"The stars,\" Rowen scratched Kira's fur, which produced a cute grunt, \"thank you.\"\n\n\"No problem,\" she nuzzled her head into Rowen's neck. He moves a paw to scratch the\n\nmiddle of her chest\n\n\"Thanks for everything today. The necklace...\"\n\nKira silenced him with her tongue.\n\n\"What are we gonna do about din-\"\n\nKira grabbed his butt, \"Shut up babe. You worry too much.\"\n\nRowen lovingly bit Kira's lip, \"Mmm... you taste so good.\" Rowen grabbed the soap,\n\n\"Let's finish up.\"\n\nHe sat behind Kira and lathered her back. He felt her relax more and more, as if,\n\nbesides wiping away dirt, he were wiping away her cares.\n\nHe moved on to her shoulders and arms as he kissed her deeply. He moved onto her legs which unconsciously spread to help him. He avoided her flesh successfully with both his eyes and the soap.\n\nThey embraced in the candlelight, as Gnar had hidden candles in the towels. Kira's arms and legs wrapped around Rowen as he scrubbed her clean. Suds dripped from her curvaceous figure. Her dark brown hair looked black in the candle and moonlight.\n\nKira kissed him and turned around, \"Your turn?\"\n\nRowen handed her the soap.\n\nShe rubbed it deep into his back, giggling.\n\n\"We must do this again,\" he flicked her face with his tail, letting out a groan of satisfaction.\n\n\"Mmm, yes.\" she watched bubbles slide down his back to his cute tail.\n\nRowen licked her face, \"Mmm. I wish we could go see the Skyfire Spectrum. He spaced out as his mate rubbed his arms. He imagined sitting in the snow with Kira , watching mystical animals frolic in a colorful blaze above their heads.\n\n\"I would absolutely love that.\" she scrubbed his biceps. \"I've only read about it in books, and heard people talk about it as I walk around town.\"\n\n\"From what it sounds like, it sounds fantastic. Fiery skies...\"\n\nShe licked his ear and scrubbed his belly; hot water sloshing about.\n\nRowen spoke again, \"I've never even seen snow before.\"\n\nA star fell.\n\nThe cubs bowed their heads in respect.\n\nRowen broke their minute of silence, \"Let their death not be in vain.\"\n\nKira respectfully added onto Rowen, \"Enjoy the afterlife, my friend.\"\n\nThe cubs looked at each other for a few moments before continuing their bath.\n\nA star shot across the sky, then returned. It now filled the gam, a new star followed it.\n\nThe cubs danced and rejoiced in their watery world.\n\n\"They made it safely!\" Kira danced in the water with Rowen.\n\nThey touched noses.\n\nOnce.\n\nTwice.\n\n\"Shall we finish up?\" Kira rubbed his body with a paw, rinsing the soap out of his fur.\n\nThe cubs hastily pulled their clothing on, chilled after leaving the hot water and emerging sopping wet into the sunless forest.\n\nFlick.\n\n\"Thanks, Rowen.\"\n\nThey huddled close to Rowen's paw flame. He pushed his palm out a little bit more, producing a more intense flame.\n\n\"We should head back now, I'm getting tired.\" Rowen nuzzled Kira, \"Mmm. you smell nice.\"\n\nKira blushed and laughed, \"As do you!\" She took a whiff of his lavender scent. \"You know, a man's scent is just as important as he looks.\"\n\nRowen blushed, but didn't answer. \"Kira.\"\n\n\"Yes?\"\n\n\"Please don't wash away your thigh sweat,\" he smirked, \"it tastes otherworldly.\"\n\nKira became hot in her cheeks and deeply embarrassed. \"Don't worry,\" she turned away and stared at the ground, \"I didn't.\"\n\nShe thought to herself. He really doesn't know, does he? Should I tell him what it really is?
