I had just received a Squirtle watering can from a flora girl. I looked down at my Umbreon, Shade. She was my first pokemon. She was always calm, and aggressive when needed, but today it seemed like something was bothering her.\n\nI was just about to ask her what was wrong, when I heard Lyla shouting from behind. \"Gold!!! Gold, wait up!\" she shouted. I stopped and waited for her to catch up. \"Hey. What's up?\" she asked.\n\n\"Nothing. Just going to Ecruteak City.\" I replied.\n\n\"Oh. I was going to the pokemon park. It's Saturday you know!\" And with that, she ran off ahead of me.\n\n\"What an odd kid.\" I muttered. I looked down at Shade to already see her looking at me curiously. \"What?\" I asked.\n\n\"Um!\" she smiled. She nuzzled against my leg.\n\n\"Alright. Do you want to stop and rest?\" I asked. She sat down and nodded. I got my fold-up tent out of my backpack. I set it up as fast as I could. \"How long was that, Shade?\" I asked. We had this thong where I would set up the tent as fast as I could, and try to beat the previous score. I looked at the ground at Shade's feet. There were 11 scores. \"Man. One minute behind. Well, I guess that's what happens when you stay in a city for a few nights.\"\n\nWe walked into the tent just as rain had started to pour. \"Ha! Lucky timing, huh?\" I asked. I set my sleeping bag out and laid down inside of it. Shade nudged her way inside. A moment later, her head was peaking out on top of my chest. \"Did you know it was going to rain?\" I asked.\n\n\"Umbre.\" She shook her head.\n\n\"I guess we're just lucky, huh?\" I asked.\n\nShe nodded, closed her eyes, and soon fell asleep. I stroked her fur and soon dozed off myself.\n\n**_Author's notes:_**\n\n**_I wanted to do some kind of pokemon chapter series other that the shorts I have right now. i had trouble with the main pokemon, but then I asked myself, \"Who's your favorite Eeveelution?\". Mine is Glaceon, but the music I listen to told me to pick Umbreon. I hope this series turns out good! See ya guys!!!_**\n\n**_P.S._**\n\n**_Sorry it's a little short...
