The spraying mist against my scales was something I'd never before felt. I held my snout up in the air and let the rain wash down on me. It ran through the crests on my head and down my back. A large smile covered my face.\n\n\"Feel's good doesn't it\",Val asked.\n\n\"It's like nothing I've ever felt,I answered,even with the time I spent in The Great Pacific,nothing holds a candle to this.\"\n\nThe Draco stood as a giant,red and blue flashing black spot in the distance,it was certainly something to look at. Shadow had given us the layout,who was where at what time,the times patrols came and went,everything.\n\n\"Five minutes out\",Hudson said,\"make sure you have everything.\"\n\nLogan,Trent,Wyatt and Issac begin checking their gear and then helped us into our vests,for whatever the reason,my vest felt unusually light,I wasn't sure why. We neared the Draco,and slowed to a stop. With the RHIB stop,the dragons dived while the humans began scaling the side of the carrier. The water on my scales sent an amazing feeling through me,it was one of freedom. This is why I had joined the military,to do stuff like this. Sozenn,Val,and I surfaced,and quietly ascended the side of the ship,reaching the scaffolding as Hudson called.\n\n\"Talk to me Tyro\",he said,\"were seeing negative movement,Shadow's intel was solid. What do you guys have?\"\n\n\"Nothing yet\",I replied.\n\n\"Good,Hudson called,let's see if we can keep it that way.\"\n\n\"You remember the drill,I asked with a sarcastic tone.\n\n\"Sound suppressors only,of course I do.\"\n\nThe door opened,two humans walked out having a conversation.\n\n\"Right on time,Sozenn said,let's do this.\"\n\nOur black vests gave us perfect cover to approach the humans. With one swift motion,they collapsed,their deaths were clean and quick.\n\n\"Tangos down,Sozenn said,let's move inside.\"\n\nWe moved inside the carrier,ducking from shadow to shadow as we went.\n\n\"We have nothing on this side,Hudson called,what do you guys have?\"\n\n\"Were entering the cell blocks now,I called,what room is he in?\"\n\nThe sound of papers being pulled from a pouch came over the radio,\n\n\"Cell 321,Hudson said,judging from the specs,it should be at the end of the hall,to the left.\"\n\nSure enough,Cell 321 contained the red dragon. He was asleep,with a bit of a snore,suggesting he'd been sedated. He was muzzled,with chains around his ankles and neck.\n\n\"I'm in position Tyro,Syralth's voice came over the radio,tell me when to kill the power.\"\n\n\"Do it now,I said. The lights went off. \"Night vision,now.\"\n\nThe area around me turned green as my HUD went to NV. The dragon in the cell had stirred and was watching the door with a frightened look on his face. That's when I noticed a second occupant,it was an Arctic Dragon,which matched the one in the picture that Wei had given me. When we entered the room,both dragons knew of our presence,but could not see us. They had placed their backs against the wall,looks of pure fear on their faces.\n\n\"Its okay,I said in a soft voice,I'm Tyro,leader of Resistance Squad Strike Force Raven,we are here to rescue you.\n\nThe female,who was not muzzled asked with a shake,\"Are you....dragons?\"\n\n\"Yes,I said,we are dragons.\"\n\nBoth seemed to relax at hearing this,they could not see us,because it was so very pitch black,so they were going on my words alone. I puffed a small flame to prove it,Val and Sozenn did the same and the prisoners relaxed. Syralth,who had dropped down behind us,entered and undid the chains.\n\n\"Can you two still fight?\"\n\n\"I can the female said,but he can't,he's been declawed and his teeth have been pulled.\"\n\nSomething didn't add up,I'd heard of being declawed,as well as having teeth removed as punishment,but both,on top of a death sentence? It made no sense,but we were on a carrier full of humans,I wasn't about to stand around and ask why.\n\n\"Let's go,I said,follow me and keep quiet.\"\n\nAs we were exiting the prison block,I dialed Hudson,\n\n\"HVIs safe and secure,I said,we are returning to the RHIB now.\"\n\nThe lights suddenly came on,the sound of gunfire came over the radio as well as echoing through the halls.\n\n\"Fuck,Hudson shouted,were compromised,go loud!\"\n\nThe hall filled with gunfire as the humans spotted us. We fired back,tearing them like wet tissue paper. The humans were wearing a red colored Draconian design on their shoulders,the very same design I'd seen on the door at the temple. That's when I put it all together. Lung Wei was a spy,luring in rouge dragons with a fake resistance. He had been the one who attacked Tess. Then it dawned on me,Adelind and my cubs,Taro and his son,and all the other dragons back at camp,were likely being slaughtered right now by government forces.\n\n\"It was a set up,I called to Hudson as I took cover from the DK ammo,Lung Wei sent us here to die!!\"\n\nSozenn spooled up his minigun and stepped out,finishing he humans.\n\n\"We gotta get of this death trap,he shouted.\n\n\"Were right behind you brother,I shouted as we ran through the hallways,engaging hit team after hit team.\n\nWhen we made it to the flight deck,it was a war zone. Hudson and our human friends were pinned by thirty or so Navy Seals.\n\n\"Well it's about damn time,Hudson barked,what the hell did you do stop off for coffee?\"\n\n\"Shut it Hudson,I snarled,worry more about staying alive!\"\n\nThe fighting was fierce. The gunfire lit the entire deck. I could see more and more seals arrive every second.\n\n'There's no way were getting out of this one,Hudson yelled,not alive any way!\"\n\n\"Then keep fighting\",I roared,\"if were dying here,were going to make them work for it!\"\n\nAfter six hours of continues gunfire,Ator was hit in the same place where the spike had impaled him,causing him to collapse in pain.\n\n\"Ator is down\",I shouted,\"Trent,help him\". Trent was killed as he raced to Ator's side.\n\n\"NO,Hudson shouted,Trent is KIA!\" The words shook my ears and rattled my brain.\n\n\"KIA\",the three letters no CO ever wants to hear.\n\nVal was downed next,followed by Rolland,Syralth,Logan,Issac and then Wyatt. Now,Hudson and I were the only ones standing. The rest of the team moaned in pain behind us. The Seal's push was relentless,they were now joined by two dragon squads. Out numbered,out gunned,and out matched,Hudson and I continued to fight. Hudson's FAL clicked,he then picked up Issac's M16 and used it till it was dry. As he was picking up Wyatt's SCAR,he was shot in the gut,he collapsed in a heap,firing Wyatt's SCAR into the Seals.\n\n\"Come on\",he shouted,\"give it your best!\"\n\nI was filled with fear as the scene from the Russian Villa replayed in my head. My horror was intensified when I began to feel the DK ammo bounce off my chest plates,with each hit,I could feel the bullets go deeper in. Adding to my horror,my MK-48 went,click,shortly followed by my SAW. I switched to the 105,I had eight rounds,and was determined to make them count. As the mass of Seals came fore me,I fired,nothing. I tried to fire again,nothing. I looked at the corner of my HUD,I felt my heart stop when I laid eyes on the ammo counter,0. Lung had not allowed the Armory Master to supply me with 105 ammo. The Seals surrounded me and I was powerless to defend myself. Out numbered,out gunned,out matched,and without any ammo,I surrendered.
