{"sf1_id":71616,"sf2_id":null,"title":"Confusion","author":"zenman","words":1077,"posted_at":"2008-12-31T21:10:00.000Z","tags":["Canine","Cub","Feline","Husky","Lion","M/M","No-Yiff"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/71616-confusion","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/view/71616","image_url":"https://www.sofurryfiles.com/std/thumb?page=71616\u0026ext=.jpg","description":"#1 of Confusion...","content":"Note: this is my first story so please comment and tell me how it is ;) oh and please don't tell me it sucks i already know that  \n\\*\\*\\*  \nBefore The Move:  \n  \nZen was a 16 year old snow leopard standing about 5'7\" with a brown eye and a silver eye, he didn't know his real parents, Zen was adopted his foster parents were tigers  \n  \n  \n\"Hey you little foster out cast.\"  \n  \n\"You know Rick I'm getting really fed up with you always calling me a foster kid.\" Rick was a wolverine that had nothing better to do than to pick on people.  \n  \n\"What are you going to do about it.\"  \n  \n\"I'll knock your ass out.\"  \n  \nBefore Zen could react some of Rick's friends surrounded him and held him in place.  \n  \n\"What are you too scared to fight me alone, you have to have some friends to hold me down.\"  \n  \nRick then started wailing on Zen like there was no tomorrow.  \n  \nwhen Zen got home that day his mom, Jill, greeted him when he walked in the door.  \n  \n\"Hello Zen how was...oh my god what happened!?!?\"  \n  \n\"That damn wolverine, Rick happened.\"  \n  \nJill went to hug her son as he began to cry.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; \"Go get some ice and lie down.\"  \n  \nAfter Zen left the room he heard his mom call his dad, Robert, and tell him they Zen was having a problem with one of the kids at school. Zen thought to him self I'll never make any friends with assholes like Rick around to ruin my day.'  \n  \nWhen Robert got home he greeted his wife and looked at Zen, making him feel a little uncomfortable, Mark sat down with a some what of a smile on his face.  \n  \n\"Zen,...\"trying so hard to contain him self, Zen was starting to get worried \"Zen, I got a promotion!!!!!\" Zen was wondering if his father even saw the bruises and cuts on his face.  \n  \n\"Uh, dad I got beat up today...\"looking at his father's face change drastically, his father left the room.  \n  \n\"Mom, didn't you tell dad I got beat up today?\"  \n  \n\"Yes, and he feels bad for you and he was trying no to bring up the subject.\"  \n  \n\"Oh...so now what? do we just wait till he comes back?\"  \n  \n\"...I'll start dinner\"  \nAs Jill turned away from Zen he wondered what was going on.  \n  \nZen went to his room and was on the computer for a while then got bored and started playing Guitar Hero, when dinner was ready he went down stairs in to the kitchen, it was a usual family dinner until the usual conversation tuned into what seemed to be an interrogation.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; \"What were you doing with that wolverine in the first place?\"  \n  \n\"Dad, I was walking to class and\" he was cut short by his father \"what are we going to have to do we have to do with you.\" Then an unwanted thought came in to Zen's mind 'what if they send me back to the orphanage!' no sooner did he finish the thought his parents looked at him and said \"We have to let you go.\"  \n  \nHorror struck the feline and he ran to his room and locked the door 'Did they really just say that!' As thoughts ran through his head he was trying to find a reasonable explanation. 'Dad's promotion that must be it, but why I'm sure nothing will change.' And he was right nothing changed but the following day they indeed took him back to the orphanage. I knew they were trying to find an excuse to get rid of me, they didn't want me from the start, I was just there tax break.'  \n  \nA few weeks passed and Zen had met some new families that were thinking of adopting and one day this new family adopted him, they were huskies and a very loving couple.  \n  \nwhen Zen entered his new home he found that every thing was packed in boxes.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; \"Uh Mrs. Richardson why is every thing in boxes?\"  \n  \n\"Were moving to L.A.\"  \n  \n\"Okay\" Zen was confused he wasn't expecting to do any thing so drastic before he got settled in.  \n  \nIt was an hour and a half flight and when they reached their destination they were on the road.  \n  \nAs they drove through the town Zen thought 'Well it looks peaceful'  \n  \nDuring the drive to Zen's new home he got to know his parents a little more.  \n  \n\"So why are we moving?\"  \n  \n\"Well...\" Mark, his new father, began to answer but Melissa, his new mother, cut him short \"Well Mark got a promotion and his new job required us to move here\"  \n  \n\"Then why did you adopt me if you got a promotion?\" Zen said bitterly  \n  \n\"Well we always wanted a child but i can't have kids, so we went and adopted you.\"  \n  \nZen thought in his mind 'Are you sure i'm not just a tax break for you.'  \n  \nZen looked out the window and saw some kind by a fountain 'I wonder if they nice?' immediately after Zen thought this he saw a tiger push one of the furries in and more bitter thoughts came into the young snow leopards head about tigers.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; Tigers are nothing but a waste of space, were better off with out them.'  \n  \nA few more minuets passed and they reached their new home  \n  \n\"Hey Zen why don't you go out and have a look around?\"  \n  \n\"Ok Mr. Richardson.\"  \n  \n\"Please call me Mark and if you feel comfortable call me dad.\" Mark said this with a big smile.  \n  \nZen just backed away a little and started walking to town  \n  \nWell at least i can have some time to think' Zen continued to walk then he heard a car coming down the street. He turned to see a family of jaguars in the car and he couldn't help but stare at the beautiful jaguar in the back seat. He blushed at the thought of just talking to her.  \n  \n\"Wow she's beautiful...\" Zen found himself looking dumb at nothing now that the car was out of sight.  \n  \n\"Oh i better keep walking\"  \n\\*\\*\\*  \nThis is my first story and I have never tried this before so PLEASE tell me what you think I already know this is a really bad start but if I can or if you guys want me to I'll try to make it a series and I can assure you that I wont start like this again.  \n  \n  \n\n"}
