I consider this a draft so we'll just see if anyone finds it interesting. I really need to force myself to write more but a lot has changed since I uploaded anything 3 years ago. Even my character has changed. We'll see. I may lose my nerve again and run away or maybe work on it.","content":"Prize\nStallionPreface            The world of Corlea is one of the central production\nplanets of The Empire. The Empire as it is called by its citizens is the\ncentral government of a civilization that spans nearly a quarter of the Great\nEye. The Great Eye is a barred spiral galaxy that is nearly one-hundred\nthousand light years in size from the tip of one arm to the tip opposite of it.\nCorlea supplies mostly agricultural exports to dozens of planets in the same\nsector of itself which has made it wealthy and influential. In order to keep up\nwith the amount of labor needed to make everything work Corlea is a planet with\nlegalized slavery. While that is not uncommon within The Empire the level to\nwhich Corlea has taken it is nearly unique. Corlea doesn't have an exceptional\nnumber of slaves but they are the only planet within The Empire that has been\nbreeding their slaves for hundreds of years.              Corlea has a proud tradition of animal husbandry so it is\nlittle wonder that the lords of the planet responded to the constant labor\nshortages by instituting a breeding program. Up until that point slavery was\nseen as punishment for those who broke the law. However, afterwards being a\nslave and owning slaves became something to be proud of. Strong and capable\ncitizens donated their genes to the first few generations of specially bred\nslaves. These slaves were bred for everything from security to manual labor and\neven sex. Over time every facet of society became influenced by the existence\nof these slaves. Over time some slaves became well known through shows where\nthey are presented to the public as well as their work among experts and\nadmirers.             Due to the nature of this cultural phenomenon many slaves\ntake great pride in their pedigrees and most slaves, especially the males,\nspend their entire lives trying to earn the right to breed and pass down their\nbest attributes. While many genetic lines are considered specialized it is not\nuncommon for them to end up doing other duties. One may occasionally find a\nslave from a labor line working in a brothel or a slave from a sex line working\nin security. Sometimes a Master or Mistress simply wants to use them for\ndifferent purposes or perhaps they are just better suited to that line of work.\nThis is not a bad thing though. If the slave performs exceptionally well in\ntheir line of work they could be used to help establish an entirely new genetic\nline. This is considered an honor so often these slaves work even harder at\ntheir given duties. "}
