Fortunately, that job came to an end and hopefully I'll be able to start focusing on writing more stories and poems.","content":"One Drink Is All I Need\n\nOne drink is all I need to put my mind at ease to calm my nerves and give my heart peace.\n\nThe pills don't work my nerves still on end my mind constantly racing.\u0026nbsp;\n\nOne drink is all I need.\n\nWith one drink I can open my mind speak my heart without it I stay in my shell\n\nKeep to myself won't open up, but with one drink I can.\n\nBecause I need a drink do I have a problem that I need something to help\n\nBreak the shell I'm trapped in and erase the pain my heart's been holding in?\n\nDo I rely too much on something that gives me an edge and\n\nKeeps me cool when I'm buried under pressure? Others say yes, others say no\n\nI say I do what I can to survive this hell on earth and free my mind and heart\n\nThat's been buried for so long. I use a pad and a pen to express my feelings\n\nBecause talking with professionals doesn't seem to work.\n\nWhen the Docs and the meds don't seem to work, what's a fella to do but\n\nGo with his gut and try something that does even if he dies young would it be\n\nWorth it that he shed tears on paper and drowned his pain with drinks?\n\nThen cheers to him for finding something that worked when everything else failed.\n\nSometimes a drink is all I need to ease my mind, calm my nerves, and put my mind to peace.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
