Poetry"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/729039-freedom","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/s/k1V83zYm","image_url":"https://cdn.sofurryfiles.com/submissions/thumbnails/63/7a/637aaecd-4e98-49cc-bb60-aa4c8d236a68","description":"#11 of Poetry\n\nBecause sometimes we forget to let go and forgive","content":"We walk around our towns and cities\n\nGoing about our daily lives for this and that\n\nAlong the way we here the abject committees\n\nTheir opinions forced upon us as though they spat.\n\nYet even within our closest allies\n\nOur those who lies and those who belies\n\nAnd for all the freedoms I do hold\n\nI'm constantly and even now, always told.\n\nEnough!\n\nNot everyone is here to be a friend\n\nThere is no hope if we all pretend\n\nThat those who make us cry\n\nWill for our friendship, every try.\n\nFreedom can only come when we learn to let go.\n\nTake those binds, grasp the chains, and break them all\n\nSeize a break, see the sun, just say to all the pain, no.\n\nTake the words of those who care and drown the drawl.\n\nSeek a mirror, see the shimmer and smile wide\n\nYou're more than this and always have been.\n\nLet yourself soar, and see the world on a mile high glide\n\nForget the pain, just let it go and show your sheen.\n\nThe world smiles and the wind flies\n\nLet it take you and forget the lies.\n\nFreedom only comes when you learn to let go\n\nSpread your wings, let your beauty glow.\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/704071-an-ire-to-inspire.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/752601-art.json"}}
