Merrick pondered for a moment, still feeling a little
doubtful, "Here, my mom made something for you." Yuri said as she got up, and
went to her closet.

"So then I was like, 'Yeah, not gonna work, not into
silicone'," Nick said as he punched his card out, finishing his shift at
Lovers.
 
"Hahaha, she REALLY wouldn't let up on you?" Sasha said as
she laughed.

two of them walked out, "So what's yor plan fo tonight? Have you got a date, or
are you going to get drunk and flopped around as usual?"
 
"Heh, come on, Sash, you know me," Nick said as they walked
outside, "I don't think I could really be into-"
 
"Nick?" Came a third voice. The two of them turned to see
Jamal standing there, looking pretty earnest, wearing some casual-formal
clothes, and holding a fancy heart-shaped box.
 
"Jamal? What's up, man?" Nick asked.
 
"So um... I don't got anything to do right now, so... I was
wonderin if you'd wanna... You know, go to Outback or sumthin?" He asked
hesitantly, "I-I'm buyin, but... If you busy, that's coo..." Nick's cheerful mood
kind of faded as he looked at him.
 
"Jamal, I... Sorry, but I got plans." He said. Sasha crossed
her arms as she leaned on one leg.
 
"Ah, ok..." Jamal said, "That's cool..." His shoulders slouched,
but otherwise, looked unchanged, "So, guess I see you round..."
 
"Later." Nick replied. Jamal turned around, and started
walking away. After a pause, Sasha tilted her head back.
 
"Oh, you cold little sod." She said.
 
"What? He said it's cool."
 
"Cool? Cahn't you see he's all blue now?" She said.
 
"Jamal? Naw, he... He's not into dates..."
 
"Looked like he was to me," She said, "Ahrn't you too still
livin togetha? You REALLY want to go home to THAT?" Sasha turned his head in
Jamal's direction, seeing the tall black man walking away with his head down,
"Look at him, like a lost dog."
 
"Eghhhh..." Nick grunted. Honestly, he feels conflicted. While
still wanting to remain single and loose, he REALLY doesn't want to let Jamal
down...
 
"C'mon," Sasha continued, "You like him too~"
 
"*Sigh*" Nick grumbled, "Sometimes, I really hate you,
Sash."
 
"Yeah, go on, kid. In the meantime, I think I'll have a
Cosmo at the bah."
 
"God, you English Teabagger..." Nick said before he ran ahead,
"Hey, Jamal!" Jamal turned around beaming down at the shorter guy.
 
"Nick?"
 
"I uh..." Nick said, looking awkward, "I guess I'll go with
you."
 
"Huh." Jamal said, "Thought you had plans."
 
"Canceled them." Nick said, "I..." He sighed and rubbed his
arm, "I'd rather go with you..." 
 
"Heh... Aight, Nick." Jamal said as he and Nick then walked

Adam drove his last cart in, and turned to see Herald
stumbling in, looking rather awkward as he shuffled along, trying to clip on
one of the buttons of his rubber overalls.
 
"Hey man," Adam said.
 
"Oh! Uh h-hey, Adam..." He replied hastily.
 
"You keep running late on your breaks, Captain is starting
to notice."
 
"Y-Yeah, I was um... Busy." He said as he adjusted his cap.
 
"On your breaks?" Adam said as he raised a brow.
 
"Yeah um... Look, just mind your own business, ok?? The day's
almost over anyhow!" Herald retorted.
 
"Ok, fine," Adam said a she walked towards the lockerroom,
"Don't get mad at me because Belinda's got you by the balls... Literally."
 
Adam rolled his eyes as he walked into the lockers, hearing
no reply from his buddy. Anyway, he's got a call to make at Red Lobster.

Merrick then slid the other jeweled chopstick into Yuri's
hair, which has been fashioned into an intricate bun, with twirly hair dangling
from it.
 
"There..." He said as he stepped back and examined Yuri, all
dolled up for her date, "Hm... You look beautiful! Where you going anyway?"
 
"Haha, thanks, Merrick." Yuri replied, "We're going to this
fancy nightclub to go dancing."
 
"Hmm... Why don't you groom your hair like this EVERYday?"
 
"Because it's a lot of work-"
 
*Knock Knock Knock*
 
"Oh! That's him!" She then took a fancy little purse, and
walked out the door.
 
"Wait," Merrick took a second to wipe a stray hair from her
brow, and then followed her to the door. She opened it, and there is Ryojin,
wearing a nice tuxedo, and holding a shiny red box full of his homemade
chocolates.
 
"Konbanwa, Yuri-chan. Koko de hondeari," He said as he gave
her the box, and then turned to Merrick, "To koko de Fumiko no sonzaidearu." He
said, smiling widely as he held out a neat little box with the chocolate
goldfish in it. Merrick's shoulders slumped, as he looked at the box, and heard
the name, 'Fumiko'.
 
"Ugh, wha?" He said. His reaction made Ryo laugh out, "Tch,"
Merrick accepted, then turned to Yuri, "Yuri, could you tell him I appreciate
the gift, but could he tell his sister to... You know... Stop?" Yuri laughed, and
relayed the message.
 
"Merikku-kun okurimono o takaku hy?ka shitaga, kare wa kare
o ji teishi suru Fumiko o shitai to omoimasu." She explained. Ryojin chuckled,
and shook his head.
 
"Watashi wa sore o okonau koto wa dekimasen, kanojo wa
hont?ni anata o sukide, sore ga omoshiroidesu." He replied. Yuri shook her
head, and translated.
 
"He said he doesn't want to because she really likes you."
 
"Yes, I know that," Merrick said, "But I want her to stop
stalking me."
 
*Beep beep. Beep beep* 
 
Ryo checked his watch, and motioned for Yuri, "Watashitachiha
nokoshite iru."
 
"We have to go, Merrick," She said, "Oh, and remember! Don't
forget to put it on, Merrick!" 

"Right, sure." Merrick said, looking annoyed that he didn't get his answer as
he closed the door. Yuri nudged Ryojin as they went.
 
"When are you gonna tell them you can speak English?" She
asked. Ryojin grinned as they went to his car.
 
"When it stops being so funny!" He said. They laughed as
they went away.
 
 
 
Merrick grumbled as he put the little box on the counter,
and then went to a designer clothes box on the glass coffee table. He sighed as
he took the box lid up, and looked at the cloth inside. It is a darkish blue
with a purple sheen of the fabric. He held it up, and smiled softly as he
examined the cloth.

Jamal walked back to his and Nick's table - he forgot his
wallet, and had to get it real quick. When he turned the corner to find that
Nick is no longer there.
 
"... Wuut?" He looked, and slumped his shoulders as he sighed,
"... Guess he didn't wanna be here after all..." He muttered sadly, "Fine..." Jamal
then sat down, just as the waitress came by to his table.
 
"Hello, good afternoon, my name is Amy, and I'll be taking
your order today~ Have you already decided?"
 
"Yeah," Jamal said as he picked up his menu, "I'm gonna ha-
OHH!" Suddenly, Jamal felt his penis get enveloped by a wet warmth!

Adam smiled as he lit a couple of candles on a neat little
table outside near the beach of his house. Wearing a white, button-up polo
shirt with pink-red tribal designs, and fine black shorts, he set up a small
basket of fries and cheddar-bay biscuits, a crystal gravey boat filled with
melted butter, a hammer next to both plates, holding a steaming, delectable,
fresh, ruby red lobster under a metal dome-lid.
 
He has just began pouring strawberry-apple cider into one of
the wine glasses when he sense someone approaching.
 
"Adam?" He looked up, and smiled as he saw Merrick standing
there. He is wearing a royal blue, sleeveless tunic, with a blue-violet toga
over his right shoulder, which reached to his knees, and tied together with a
silver sash around his waist. He also wears a silver band around his blonde head.

 
"Merrick... Wow..." Adam said in a hushed tone, as he put the
bottle down, and walked to his love.
 
"Yuri's mother is a... I think a designer? Or some kind of
seamstress, and... Yuri asked her to make this cloth for me..." He said as he
padded and felt along his fabric, "It feels soft... She told her mother to make
it for sensitive skin..." Before he knew it, Adam had come up to him, and gently
rubbed his shoulders.
 
"You look wonderful, Merrick..." Adam said softly. Merrick
smiled happily as he leaned in, and kissed Adam softly on the lips. Adam kissed
him back lovingly, and turned towards the table, where the food is waiting.
Adam pulled the chair out for Merrick before walking around, and pouring the
fizzy, magenta drink into the other glass.
 
"The food smells delicious, Adam." Merrick said as Adam sat
at his end of the table, "Are you sure it's ok that we don't go to a human
place to eat?"
 
"Baby, this was my idea," He replied, "I wanted us to spend
our first Valentine's Day, just the two of us..." He then reached over to the
handle of the dome over Merrick's plate, "Now, I know you like crustaceans, so
I got us a couple of lobsters." He lifted the metal dome, and revealed the
fresh, hot lobster. Merrick beamed at his meal, chuckling as he took in the
savory scent.
 
"I'll never get over what you humans can do with food!" He
said. Adam tapped the spacebar on his laptop, and started some romantic music.
He reached over, and tenderly rubbed Merrick's hand.
 
"Happy Valentine's Day, Merrick..."

Herald and Belinda walk slowly by the beach, hand in hand.
Belinda has put on a draft yellow dress, while Herald is sporting some casual
clothing.
 
"Well... Think we defined the term, 'Sex on the Beach'."
Herald commented.
 
"Ees dat a hyooman word?" She asked with a smirk.
 
"Yeah. It's actually the name of a drink. It's really called
'Sex on the Beach'." He explained.
 
"Oh? What ees eet like?" She asked, intrigued.
 
"I don't know, I never had it. Wanna head over to the Dream
Waltz and find out?" 
 
"Yes!" Belinda said eagerly.
 
"Alrighty~" He then stooped down, and swept Belinda off her

The singer said in her microphone, with her small orchestra behind her resumed

Ryojin got up from his seat, and held out his hand to Yuri,
"Dance wiz me, Yuri?"
 
"U-Um..." Yuri turned away shyly, "I um... I don't know how to
dance..."
 
"I am here, Yuri..." Ryojin said, "I show you how..." He said
gently. After a moment's pause, Yuri sighed, put down her fan, and stood up to
take Ryujin's hand.

As the singer sang on, Ryojin guided Yuri slowly along the
dance floor. Along with various other couples, they slowly waltzed to the slow,
moving song of destiny and love. Ryojin brought his lips to Yuri's ear, and
whispered, "Sore wa, "Boku ga anata o aishite", to itte mo kagondarou?" 
 
Yuri giggled, and looked into his eyes, "Maybe a little...
But, not really," She said as she gently kissed Ryo, "I love you too."

Ryojin smiled happily as he and Yuri waltz together, hand in

Swinging slowly on a hammock between two trees, Nick is
laying onto Jamal, as he held close to his chest as they watched the waning
sunset over the ocean. Nick moaned gently as he felt those strong arms cuddle
him nice and snug.
 
"You know, I promised myself I wouldn't get myself all
strung up in romance..." Nick said as the warm, ocean breeze wafted along them.
 
"Yeah yeah, Ah know..." Jamal said lowly, "I told mahself the
same thing when mah girl wuz havin a baby wit someone else..."
 
"So... What makes me so special?" Nick asked.
 
"Gheh. Could ask you the same thing, man." Jamal said. 
 
"Hmmm..." He cuddled up with Jamal, "Dunno... You're just...
Always there, you know? ... I mean, yeah, Adam offered me a place to stay, but...
You offered me a bed to sleep in when I didn't have anywhere else."
 
"Aw, c'mon," Jamal nudged him, "You coulda gotten one of yo
Dial-A-Dicks to take you in."
 
"... Naw... None of them would help me out... Not for more than a
week... Not as long as you guys have..."
 
"Heh..." The hammock rocked and wobbled as Nick adjusted
himself to lay on his front, resting his face onto Jamal's pecs.

"Yeah?" Jamal said as he swung the hammock forcefully, until
he made them tumble off of it. Nick grunted as he felt the full weight of the

"Hehehe~ Promise~?" Nick said as he gave Jamal's crotch a

last bite of hot fudge lava cake, "I'm just not gonna say it anymore," He said
with a smile, "That was just amazing." Adam chuckled as he downed his last gulp
of milk that went with the lava cake. 
 
Night had come fast, and the moon is full and shining its
bright white light from the sky. A small gust blew in, and snuffed out the
candles on the table.
 
"... Oh!" Adam said as he heard the melody of the next song on
his iTunes, "Here comes a good one!" He said as Savage Garden's 'I Knew I Loved
You' "C'mon, get up!" Adam said as he stood the merman up, and got up on the
soft sand.
 
"Wh-What are you doing??"
 
"I..." Adam blushed as he looked into Merrick's eyes, "I wanna
dance with you..." He put his hand on Merrick's waist, and his other on his
shoulder.
 
"Dance?" Merrick said, feeling his face tingle.
 
"It's sort of a movement humans do... When there's music
playing..." He explained softly as they began to move, "Sometimes we feel like
dancing with each other..." Merrick's feet seemed to begun moving on their own,
"And this..." Adam said as his warm brown eyes looked into Merrick's vivid
sapphire eyes, "This dance... It's of romance..."
 
"Adam..." Merrick uttered as they slowly rotated as they moved
close together under the mystical moonlight.
 
"And... This song... It kinda sums up our relationship..." Adam
blushed even more.
 
"How do you mean?"
 
"Cause, ~~I knew I loved you," Adam sang with the song, just
as the lyrics started, "~Before I met you~~" Merrick giggled happily as his
human sang to him as they slowly danced, "I~ think I dreamed you in to
liiiffe~~" 
 
Merrick's eyes couldn't help but moisten with glimmering
tears as Adam sang on. Merrick wrapped his arm around to Adam's shoulder as he
put his head onto Adam's chest. 
 
"~~There's just no rhyme or reason, only this sense of
completion~" Adam hymned as he and Merrick slowly danced along with the soft
breeze, "~And in your eyes, I see the missing pieces... ~~Searching for, I think
I found my way home~~"
 
Losing sense of time in Adam's arms, Merrick simply danced
and followed his human's movements. It seemed that he has not been paying enough
attention, as he suddenly gasped, and looked around him.
 
"Merrick? What's- Whoa... !" Adam looked around, and notices
that everything is illuminated by a blaring red glow. The two looked up at the
moon, to see it is now a glowing orb of crimson. He turned back, and gasped,
"M-Merrick! Your eyes!"
 
"Y-YOUR eyes!" Merrick responded. Both males' eyes are
shimmering a magenta sheen. Adam then noticed Merrick's light, golden hair
rippling with the same pink light. Adam backed away, and looked at his hands,
then noticed a dull light playing off his fingernails, and then saw the magenta
light coming off the hairs on his arm.
 
"Merrick. Is this..." He looked up, his voice hushed, "Is this
how I was... When we first saw each other?"
 
Merrick nodded as he looked his gleaming eyes into Adam's
glowing eyes, "Yes... This is the light of the Sea Mother's heart... The divine
aura that shines off of the bond between a merperson and their mate."
 
"Has it... Ever shone when you were with your pod during a red
moon?" Adam asked softly. Merrick shook his head.
 
"No... It only happens when they are together..." Merrick's eyes
watered as he looked at Adam, "For 4 red moons, since I fell in love with you...
I had to pretend to fail... To act as if I have never found love..." Merrick shook
as he held his arms, "I felt envious of all the merfolk who found their love,
and could swim freely together... Adam..." He sniffled before Adam came up to him.
 
"It's alright, sweetie..." Adam muttered, "We're together
now..." Merrick sniffled as he nuzzled Adam lovingly.
 
"... I love you..." Merrick whispered.
 
"I love you too" Adam whispered back as he hugged Merrick
gently, "... Take off your clothes..."
 
"Adam... I don't feel like-"
 
"No," Adam said, "We're here now, together." Adam brought a
hand to Merrick's cheek, "We got to dance for me... I want us to dance for you
now..." Merrick's eyes shimmered with tears of happiness as he looked at his
human.
 
"Oh Adam..."
 
 
Moments later, Merrick places the silver sash and band on
the neatly folded clothes, right next to Adam's folded shorts and shirt. He
turned to Adam, both men naked as the day they were born. Adam's hearted
pounded he noticed the pink glow trickling along the fuzz of his body. 
 
Holding hands, Merrick and Adam walked to the small cliff.
At the last second, Adam swept Merrick right off his feet, and leapt right off
of the rock! Merrick excitedly clutched onto his human during the next few
seconds in the air, before he and Adam splashed into the ocean!!
 
"EEENNNNNHHHHH!!!" Adam moaned forcefully as the cold of the
water bit every inch of his body. 
 
"Hmhmhmhm~~" Amongst the cringing, Adam heard the eerie,
mystical chuckle of his aquatic lover. Forcing down the urge to climb out of
the chilling water, Adam looked and smiled as he saw his merman gracefully swim
around him.
 
His blonde hair now a field of spiky fins, his body now a
blue and silver color, the merman circled around him, his long, beautiful tail
undulating to and fro as he glides around the human. 
 
Adam stared in awe at his merman. Aside from the fact that
it has been a very, VERY long time since he seen Merrick in his true form, the
merman's body is also shining with the magenta glow! Like refracting light
dancing on the sea floor, an aura of pink and purple shines across his fishy
form!
 
Merrick slips his webbed hand into Adam's, and twirls around
him slowly. Adam smiles as he felt the water flow around him as they moved
though the deep blue.
 
Besides the sound of the ocean, Adam can faintly hear the
distant sounds of... Merriment. As if he can feel and hear the joyous hymns of
love from pods of merfolk from across the seas, into the Hawaiian waters,
drifting along him and Merrick!
 
Adam closes his eyes as he felt his merman's slippery body
rub against his, feeling the strong tail flex and wave, and feeling the tender
tickle from the frilly membrane on either side of Merrick's lower body. He
giggled as he felt Merrick nip at his ears before gracefully twirling around
him. Just in the touch of his mate, Adam can feel the year of longing Merrick
has suffered from being apart, especially during a Lunar Eclipse, when love
within merfolk is presented for each other. It makes him want this night ti
never end...
 
Then, Adam spotted a glint of red. He staggered in the water
and turned around. Merrick caught sight of his sudden jolt, and looked around
as well.
 
Adam gasped again as he saw a blink of red again. He tugged
on Merrick's arm, and pointed to a faint, red twinkle is. Merrick looked and
peered his eyes. His darkened eyes then widened in wonder, his mouth agap as he
put his arms around Adam. The human felt a little scared, as he spotted another
glimmer of red, but this time there is also a spot of purple, and a few tiny
orbs of yellow light.
 
Letting a light, purring squeal, came a small, purple
fish-like creature, sailing though the water with two translucent blue wing,
like that of an insect. They have tiny purple bodies, long pectoral fins,
intricate red light glowing like bioluminescence, two golden eyes, and three
glowing dots above its head.
 
Adam shook as it swam up, but then saw another one, looping
a circle and flying next to them in the water. Merrick smiled in amazement as
he saw a third sea fairy twinkle into view, and started to swim playfully
around them.
 
"Uundiinnes..." Came Merrick's strange, merman voice. It's
barely legible, but judging from the excited smile, Adam guessed these... Things,
Undines... These creatures are a good thing.
 
Merrick took both of Adam's hands, and whirled the both of
them in a faster, more playful dance in the water. The three tiny water nymphs
circled around the two lovers, sharing this beautiful moment, in the day and
night of love.
 
Between a shimmering merman, and a twinkling human.
