This is only one of which, he clearly recalls in its entirety. Not knowing how he managed to survive for three weeks, bound to a metal table. This last act of cruelty, feels all too real.","content":"Ground up Fingers\nBy darkmaster03\nApr 18 2014 3:13am\n \nAs my mind drifted to sleep, I found my back against a stone\nwall. I was terrified of what lay in front of me, utter darkness.\n \nI stood there, my eyes wide. What's one to do, if their eyes\nnever adjust to the darkness? The stone façade I was pressing against, was\nsucking the warmth from my body. Clenching my teeth to keep them from rattling,\nmy body shivered as I lay huddled on the stone floor.\n \nI kept staring forward, eyes attempting to pierce through\nthe darkness. As I did, my mind started to recall past events, playing them out\nin front of my eyes. Using the palette of darkness to convey the horrid imagery\nof what had happened, the night before...\n \n\"I like my fingers, I enjoy drawing, using my keyboard,\npressing the buttons on my mouse, even gently gliding them across the\ntranslucent screen of my smartphone. I don't like it, when I'm strapped to a\nvertical table, with massive, dark, soft furry fingers around my neck. Gripping\nfirmly, tightly strapping me into place.\" I mumbled.\n \nFeeling exhausted, I merely wanted to go back to sleep. I\nwanted to forget this blur in front of my eyes, and rest just a little more.\n \nWith the back of my head, pressing tightly onto the\nstainless steel workman's table, my movement was constricted to the point where\nI couldn't even struggle against the bonds.\n \nAs the blurriness from my eyes dissipated, I was met with\nthe sight of a large furry torso literally inches from my face. The creature\nwas reaching for something behind me, behind the table onto which I was bound\nand angled to forty-five degrees. Attempting to tilt my head upwards even a\nlittle, it was impossible to do so.\n \nThe massive wall of blackish-blue fur moved backwards. He\nhad selected whatever was behind me, now seeing his built frame moving\nbackwards, hovering away from me. The creature's chest fur was waving with the\nbackward motion, as its body regained its upright posture. This smooth, flowing\ntexture of fur was surreal. I assumed I was awake. It was almost as if this\nmassive creature, was an actual living being, instead of something made up\nthrough unconscious dreaming.\n \nJaguar, it looked kind of like one, at least. I knew full\nwell that it wasn't, but that's what I'll refer this creature to as resembling.\nHis head was very thick looking, eyes were nothing but black lenses and his maw\nwas filled with the sharpest incisors, I had ever seen. \n \nHis face had the expression of utter discontent. It was as\nif he wasn't happy doing his job, or in the position he had acquired. He seemed\nto be doing what he had to do, simply so that he would get a paycheck.\n \nIn his left paw, two giant fingers around the handle of this\ninstrument, which looked like a rasp used to smooth wood. That's what he had\nbeen reaching for, earlier he had been deciding for a lengthy while on which\nsize to use, and how fine he wanted the texture to be.\n \nMy right hand was free, but he was reaching for it.\nDesperately trying to undo the binding to my neck, my fingers were in-between\nthe flesh of my neck and the hardened metal binding. Attempting to tug, it\ndidn't budge, nothing more I could do before the Jaguars other hand clenched\nonto my arm. Soft fingers elongating my tiny limb, stretching it out, holding\nfirmly. Trying to pull away only forced him to grip tighter, it was like a\nfurry vice. He eventually gripped my entire arm, placing his fingers around, he\nheld my elbow in place, so that I wouldn't be able to pull out.\n \nClosing my fist, I felt his massive soft furry thumb pry it\nopen, I was unable to close it again, not with that furry appendage in the way,\nthough it felt extremely soft and delicate. The texture of this creatures fur\nwas unbelievable, I loved the way its warmth radiated through my hand, the way\nthe Jaguars smooth skin cushioned in as I tried to struggle against it.\n \nIt felt so painful when that jaguar-looking being, forced\nthe tips of my fingers to that rasp. Clutching my arm so tight, I couldn't pull\naway, the creature continued to grind my fingertips unil they were bloody and\ntorn.\n \nThe nerve pain never went away, I felt it the entire time.\nAfter a while, I hoped that some sort of numbness would set in. This creature\nknew what he was doing, he knew how to get the most out of his work. After he\nstopped, I started to struggle, the pain was just too much, yelling out \"why\nare you doing this!?\" The response I received to my question, was nothing more\nthan a chuckle, as my arm was placed back into the binding. Feeling as if my\nfingertips had been shaved down to the bone.\n \nIntense pain pulsed through my right hand, reaching up all\nthe way to my shoulder. I will say, though that I enjoyed the cool sounding\nchuckle the Jaguar made, even though it wasn't much of a response. Hearing his\nvoice, the subtle sound of his chuckle, almost made me forget the intense pain,\nit was all I could think about for the rest of the day.\n \nRecalling how real that dream seemed. Dreading to imagine if\nI didn't wake up or worse, couldn't wake up, because that was my reality. That\nwould be the worst possible place to exist.\n \n...I saw many others there, out of the corner of my eye. They\nwere sleeping peacefully, bound. I was the only one who was awake, the only one\nterrified out of his mind, as I stared at the mountainous scientist in front of\nme.\n \nNow that I think about it. It seems clear how I got here. I\nhad, awoken."}
