A poem I made thinking of something of the past the continues to the present...

There is a place in my heart, and a loss tore it apart...  
I once had a friend, who I'll love to the end...  
But with him and our loss, a piece of a heart...  
My Empty Heart, is dark...  
  
He is the best, a noble soul, and I was pure, yet tainted...  
a petty fight, brought down the night...  
Hearts torn, and lost, together...  
An Empty Torn Heart, forever...
