{"sf1_id":766846,"sf2_id":"ve3dLkKm","title":"Autumn Dream","author":"Leonard Wolfe","words":218,"posted_at":"2014-10-11T22:00:00.000Z","tags":["2014","Dream","Friendship"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/766846-autumn-dream","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/s/ve3dLkKm","image_url":"https://cdn.sofurryfiles.com/submissions/thumbnails/d3/40/d340ed43-2fc0-43a8-9001-64929a164c9b","description":"#13 of Poetry\n\nI had a dream the other day","content":"In the cool room, curtains swaying gently shadowing the light entering the dim room  \nIn the cool room, rested soundly, in a dream.   \n  \nThe blue sky slowly faded to red, the last vestige of the day beckoned on the dusk  \nThe air was cooling as the sun sat and the moon rose  \n  \nA familar voice called out to me in the empty street but no matter where I looked I could not see them  \nA voice called out sometimes happy, sometimes concerned and other times just casually\n\nWe walked along silently unable to see them or feel them   \nWe saw the autumn clouds dancing above us in the breeze\n\nCountless times we watched the birds and played with sticks and stones  \nCountless times we'd make believe through the dismal days  \n  \nBetween us we shared secrets and sorrows  \nBetween us there was a bond we thought would last forever  \n  \nWhat little time we spent together shone brilliantly in my dim life  \nWhat little hope you gave me burns ever more even now.  \n  \nHowever...\n\nThose who are living must continue to live  \nThose who are dead can only stay dead  \n  \nNo matter how baddly I want to see you again I know it can never be  \nNo matter how hard it gets I will forge on\n\nThank you my friend\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/752601-art.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/832326-i-wish-i-were-my-friends.json"}}
