Together we can bring beauty to this world.","content":"We only have each other  \nIn all our little ways.  \nWe only have each other   \nUntil our end of days.  \nWe only have each other  \nSo let us now be true.  \nWe only have each other  \nAs we cast into the blue.  \nWe only have each other  \nAnd as much as we might wish.  \nWe only have each other  \nAnd the promise of our wish.\n\nIf you fight now for beauty,  \nIf you reply in kind with light,  \nTogether we'll make it better,  \nAnd illuminate the night.  \nIf you answer this call freely,  \nAnd reply with poetic verse,  \nTogether we can stop this  \nAnd bring peace to our little 'verse.\n\nThose we fight with peace and justice  \nSeek to silence all joyful voice.  \nTheir fear and doubt preceeds them  \nAnd it would drown the world.  \nLet us reach inside for beauty  \nFor the power that lives within  \nFor no shadow can stand its brightness  \nOr the heart that shines within.\n\nLet those charged with madness flee us  \nAnd the power of our words.  \nOr let them come and join us\n\nTo make a better world.\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poems","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/769851-lament-for-a-puppy.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/862078-the-changing.json"}}
