Watching what was going on with #gamergate, I wrote this spontaneously at work one day... It's a hope, a request, a plea. Together we can bring beauty to this world.

We only have each other  
In all our little ways.  
We only have each other   
Until our end of days.  
We only have each other  
So let us now be true.  
We only have each other  
As we cast into the blue.  
We only have each other  
And as much as we might wish.  
We only have each other  
And the promise of our wish.

If you fight now for beauty,  
If you reply in kind with light,  
Together we'll make it better,  
And illuminate the night.  
If you answer this call freely,  
And reply with poetic verse,  
Together we can stop this  
And bring peace to our little 'verse.

Those we fight with peace and justice  
Seek to silence all joyful voice.  
Their fear and doubt preceeds them  
And it would drown the world.  
Let us reach inside for beauty  
For the power that lives within  
For no shadow can stand its brightness  
Or the heart that shines within.

Let those charged with madness flee us  
And the power of our words.  
Or let them come and join us

To make a better world.
