**is this really happening? no, no it can't be. He said he would always be there. Endless days of happiness without a worry to mar the perfection that was our lives. He was my mate, my lover, my best friend. How could he just leave like that!?! without even a goodbye.....**

**"....you still with me?" **

**I looked up slowly, the pain inside growing deeper as i met the mans blue eyes. Not quite the same as my loves. His eyes were a beautiful hue of sapphire, not like this mans eyes that were a pale blue, almost gray. **

**"Y-yes.. i'm still here" I said with a low, raspy voice. I wasn't too sure he even heard me.**

**"It seems your tests have come back positive"**
