Yeah, it sucks being copyrighted. Mamoru, Tredici Elpizo, Colbor

* * *

There was only one person within the white room, silent save
for the huge roaring of the ventilation system that kept the
microbiological cabinet sterile. This person was the only living
being there, if you did not count the mammalian cells he was
growing in plates.

The red-head reached out with a gloved hand for a squeezy
bottle and doused a nearby bottle standing on a piece of tissue
paper with 70% ethanol. He rubbed the bottle with the paper calmly
to dry it off and then quickly put it into the cabinet, past the
huge column of air that prevented germs from entering the cabinet.

Everything had to be as sterile as possible for work with his
cells. All pipette tips had to be autoclaved, that is, steam
sterilised. Things to be introduced into the cabinet had to be
washed with ethanol. Pipette tips couldn't touch bottles. Gloves
had to be washed with ethanol. All rubbish had to be thrown away
into bins for incineration or for autoclaving.

There was a stillness in the room. He was the only one inside.
There was nothing else for company, save for the cells growing on
the plastic and covered in red growth medium. Well, it used to be
red, but the cells had used up the nutrients and the liquid had
turned yellow.

Which was why he was replacing it. He had already removed the
old medium with a vacuum pump, disposed of the glass tip. The
red-head unloosened the cap of the medium bottle and then grabbed
a plastic, disposable pipette and removed its plastic casing,
peeling it backwards like a banana.

Mechanically, without thought, he stuck one end into an
electric pipetting device and peeled off the rest of the plastic
cover. He reached out with one gloved hand, took the bottle cap
off, put the pipette in and drew off ten cubic centimetres of
medium.

There was a knock on the door and the red-head turned round.

It opened and a long-haired male, his hair tied back into a
ponytail, peered in.

"Ray, you've got to stop what you're doing," he told the
red-head. "There's going to be a power cut in ten minutes."

"Power cut? Why?" asked the red-head.

"No idea," replied the long-haired male. "Just stop what
you're doing and clean up."

Ray nodded.

"Okay, Jason," he agreed with a nod of his head. He quickly
screwed the bottle caps back on and put the lids back on plates.
"Help me put the bottles away, would you?" he asked Jason, as
he took them out of the cabinet.

"Right," agreed Jason with a nod of his head.

As his friend took the bottles away, he quickly put the culture
plates in the incubator opposite and shut the door. He switched
the microbiological cabinet off and then took off his lab coat,
which was not to be worn outside of the tissue culture room.

The inside surface was given a quick wipe with an ethanol
soaked cloth and when the suction finally stopped, Ray put a cover
back on top of the cabinet's opening, sealing it up. He quickly
checked that the incubator was on the emergency power supply
circuit with a quick press of a button, removed his lab coat and
then walked out into the main lab.

Power cuts usually meant power was cut to everything except for
essential equipment. Refrigerators, freezers, incubators and the
cold storage room. This equipment had to be kept online. Some of
the cold storage rooms held rather unstable products, some
contained dangerous products.

An alarm was sounding outside in the corridor that separated
the laboratories from their corresponding office areas. It was
warning the employees that a power cut was imminent and all
around, people were rushing to check that equipment was properly
switched off and that the essential equipment was connected
properly to the emergency power supply.

Ray knew that it was his job to stay behind after the blackout,
to check that the essential equipment was running properly once it
was on emergency power. The other staff would have long since
left.

Power cuts were a regular event. There was a limited supply of
power. Pre-warned outages were a blessing, compared to the ones
caused by enemy attacks on their power plants. They were at war,
after all. Perhaps power was being diverted to more essential
facilities within the city. Power was precious after all, and it
couldn't be wasted.

All around him, scientists were rushing to check things. Lights
on the far ends of the laboratory were being switched off, the
scientists having finished their checks. It wouldn't be long
before he was left all alone in the darkness, with a few
supervisors as company.

There was a muffled rumbling noise and the entire floor shook.
Bottles shook. Some fell of their benches to crash onto the floor.

Ray nearly lost his balance completely. The lights flickered
violently in their last death throes, then they died and Ray found
himself plunged into darkness, a thick darkness that seemed as
solid as stone itself.

What was going on?

A hand suddenly grabbed Ray.

"Quick, we've got to get out of here," said a voice that
sounded rather familiar to Ray. "The prototypes have escaped."

"Jason?" exclaimed Ray in surprise.

"Come on, we've got no time to lose," protested Jason
sternly, as he tugged at Ray.

"I don't understand," protested Ray, as he followed Jason
reluctantly through the darkened laboratory. "What are the
prototypes?" He wanted to know exactly what he was up against,
as he ran out of the laboratory and into the single corridor that
ran in a west-east direction.

"Doesn't matter," was Jason's reply. "The Zan'ei
Army will raze this place to the ground."

It was then that Ray understood what had happened. Some
accident must have occurred when shutting down the power. It must
have unleashed some of the biological experiments in the basement.
The prototype may have been a new strain of E-Virus the scientists
were studying. It may have been some new creature.

Whatever it was, it was probably a Grade 4 biological threat,
defined as a threat that was untreatable and uncurable. Ray could
still remember hearing the news about the hospital lab where a
grade 4 outbreak occurred. The Zan'ei Army destroyed the place,
with everyone inside it. Better to be safe than sorry.

Without warning, the sprinklers started, dousing the corridors,
drenching everything.

In the wet darkness, there were screams. There was the sound of
footsteps pounding through the corridor. The mass of people rushed
towards the emergency exit, bursting through the doors into the
cold, unpainted concrete stairwell, lit dimly by emergency lights.

There were screams from down below in the lower basement
levels. They echoed through the corridor, reverberating around
them, so loud that it seemed as if they came from within their
heads. Blood curdling scream made their hearts race with fear and
their minds go numb in dread anticipation.

Suddenly, Ray stumbled. He slipped on the wet floor, made damp
by the drippings of several wet people. No one cared. No one
stopped. As Ray fell, people past him. The last he saw, as he fell
on to the sharp steps were the feet of several frightened people
rushing past him.

=============

Generations ago, an earthquake
within the Yellowstone National Park triggered an eruption of
titanic proportions. Several cubic kilometres of ash were spewed
into the atmosphere, desolating over 90% of the United States. The
ensuing eruption ejected vast quantities of sulphur dioxide high
into the Earth's atmosphere, where it couldn't be removed
through precipitation.

Temperatures dropped as the sulphur
dioxide absorbed the heat from the Sun's rays. The life giving
Monsoons failed to come. Crops failed all over the equator and the
tropical climates. In the temperate zones, temperatures dropped to
-20ºC (-4ºF).

It was not just the humans that
started to die off, but also many different species, both animal
and plant. Food became scarce. Oil prices rocketed sky high from
the sheer demand for heat. Medicine prices rose. The cost of
plastics rose. Fertiliser prices rose. Food prices rose. All
products linked to the use of oil increased in cost.

A war was fought to seize control of
the oil lands. Chaos ensued and the decline in life and fuel
worsened. Democracy died as emergency powers were granted to
leaders and cities and towns were placed under martial law. People
died fighting for the precious oil that would save them, for the
oil that would make their medicines, the fertilisers needed for
what little land they could use to grow crops and the heat to keep
them warm and to keep their greenhouses warm.

In the end, the human population
ended up separated into four warring factions, Jin'en, Makei,
Rekku and Zan'ei. The fighting was intense and many people died.
Many species went extinct in the fighting and the human population
dwindled.

Two corporations rose to prominence.
Parasol Pharmaceuticals grew rich from the sale of medical
supplies. EVA grew rich from the sale of arms. These two
corporations formed the Rachaelis Trust and bought up the other
companies. They became a neutral force, supplying medicines and
arms to all four sides, but their neutrality could not last long.

The war abruptly ended when a
scientist working for Parasol created a highly mutagenic agent,
the E-Virus. He unleashed it on the population of Zan'ei. There
were a huge number of different strains of E-Virus, each imbued
with the genes of those animals and plants that had been wiped
out. Each viral particle was linked to a nanobot that regulated
the virus' activities. The robotic part of the E-Virus helped
maintain the mutation rate of those that were infected to prevent
fatal mutations and cancers from developing. Those people infected
with the E-Virus were effectively turned into half-human, half
animal mutants.

These people were called Humanoids.
They were imbued with the characteristics of those animals that
had died as a result of Yellowstone and the Oil Wars. They were
stronger than humans. Some were faster than humans. Others could
survive in water without drowning. The Humanoids were far more
powerful than humans and far better at surviving in the new world
than the humans.

But Dr. Wai was an unscrupulous
person. After doing their work, the nanobot-part of the E-Virus
relegated to the brains of the Humanoids and effectively formed
mind control devices that made them all subservient to the E-Virus'
creator, Dr. Wai.

Using the humanoids, Wai seized
control of the Parasol Corporation and then the faction of Zan'ei.
He renamed himself Mamoru and waged war against the rest of
humanity, and as a result, this period became known as the
Humanoid Wars.

The three remaining factions had to
join forces in order to survive. With Mamoru threatening even the
EVA Organisation and the Rachaelis Trust, these organisations
remained impartial no more. Together, the humans built the City of
Neo Eden, the last fortification against Mamoru's humanoids,
with the help of the EVA Organisation and the Rachaelis Trust.

They united and with the expertise
of EVA, the humans found a way to destroy the E-Virus that
remained in the mind of those infected Humanoids. In essence, they
released the humanoids and gathered as many as possible to their
cause, to help fight against Mamoru.

The humans pitted humanoids against
humanoids. Mamoru's Army was beaten back to the Parasol
Headquarters. Though his forces fought back, they were defeated
and Mamoru was executed the day after. The Humanoid Wars ended.

With EVA and the Rachaelis Trust in
control, all humans were relocated to Neo Eden. It was a paradise
in the middle of a cold tundra. Humanity and humanoids worked
together to reinforce the great glass dome that protected the City
from the cold. After so much war, peace returned and the people
lived together in harmony.

However, this utopia was soon to
become a nightmarish dystopia for the humanoids. Fearful of the
humanoids going berserk, the Neo Edenite Government accused and
arrested them without trial, many for trivial reasons and many for
no reason at all. All the humanoids lived in fear of the
Government that was supposed to protect them.

Many humanoids fled Neo Eden and
were forced to seek safety in a devastated city, which they
renamed Furcadia. To stay alive, they mined it for its limited
stores of energy for their own use.

Yet their supplies were dwindling
and the EVA Troops were closing in on the fugitive humanoids. The
humanoids would all die if something was not done quickly. One way
or another, the humanoids would die, either from starvation, the
cold or the Government.

If something was not done, they
would perish, young and old alike.

=============

The anthropomorphic fox sliced through the Simia with one slash
of his flaming sword. He rushed past it, the two bloody halves
falling apart and crashing to the ground behind him in a bloody
mess. The others aimed their right arms at the Humanoid fox, with
what looked like machine guns attached to them, and would have
opened fire, had the fox not slashed them in half first.

Blood stained his green battle fatigues and the white fingers
of his black gloves. It was no easy task slicing through the
Simiae, biological robots made to resemble monkeys. Yet what else
could he do? These creatures had no real mind of their own. All
they did was follow orders slavishly, without a thought of their
own, without even a regard for their own well-being. They were
robots made from flesh - nothing more, nothing less.

Wind buffeted him, as he stood on top of the carriage as the
train sped through the frozen wasteland towards Neo Eden. His
short fur ruffled backwards, his eyes narrowed against the
speeding snowflakes. He ran across the slippery metallic surface
as EVA's Simiae started to climb up onto the surface after him.

There were an assortment types. There were the normal types,
with a machine-gun like right arm that fired bullets, known as the
S.Gun units. There were the Simiae with electrified batons for
right arms, known as the S.Baton units. Some had whips that came
out from the back of their hand, known as S.Whip units. Others had
shields and insanely huge, muscular left arms, known as the
S.Berserker units.

A fierce battle cry escaped the fox's muzzle, before he
rushed at various Simiae units. He saw the S.Gun units open fire,
spraying bullets into the air. The fiery sword was spun in the air
and turned into a circular shield that absorbed all the bullet
shots. He flung the shield through the air, its fiery edge
spinning round like some kind of deadly Frisbee.

S.Gun units were sliced into halves. It curved back through the
air and he caught it. The spinning slowed down and the shield
became a fiery sword again.

S.Whips and S.Batons rushed towards the fox.

The Humanoid fox rushed at the oncoming Simiae. He leapt out of
the way of whips and swinging batons. Try as the Simiae could,
they could not touch him. He sliced them in half without a feeling
or thought for them. A part of him was tempted to destroy them
completely, for he knew that EVA would just recover the brutal
remains of the Simiae and recycle them, cloning new Simiae from
the corpses of the old.

There was a huge crash, as of metal being struck violently. The
metallic surface in front of him dented. Another crash and a huge
grey hand reached up, grabbed him and pulled him under into the
hole.

Before he even knew what was happening, he was flung through
the air to crash into a pile of wooden crates.

Neo Eden was a refuge for life. Humans had no choice but to
live in the City of Neo Eden under the rule of Commander Tredici
Elpizo, Head of the EVA Organisation. Still, the humans would have
it no other way. The great glass dome kept heat in, amplified what
little light the City received and warmed the population. They
thrived in Neo Eden. It was a paradise for them, compared to the
brutal wilderness outside of the glass dome. It was the Humanoids
that maintained this paradise, doing the jobs that no human could
do or wanted to do. Humanoids were the slaves that kept Neo Eden
running, that worked in the factories, that worked in the sewers,
in menial tasks, with less food and drink than the humans, with
less leisure time and with no hope of ever having the same rights
as humans.

The fox looked up and saw a huge monstrous being that looked
like a giant boar; it had to crouch inside the carriage and took
up its entire width. It was one of the Titans that he had heard so
much about, huge monstrous biological robots made from flesh and
designed to do nothing but obey human orders. The Titan was
another one of Neo Eden's slaves, a bio-machine meant to
maintain order, to keep the Humanoids oppressed. He had to destroy
it.

The Titan roared and flung a fist at the fox with surprising
speed. It missed, the huge fist smashing into the crates, sending
splinters of wood flying into the air. Another huge hand reached
out to grab the fox again, but it missed.

A fiery blade slashed out at the Titan's hand, but didn't
even do anything to singe its thick hide. The fox was suddenly
smashed backwards by a huge fist that would have killed him
outright, had he not leapt backwards to decrease the momentum of
the blow.

Once more, the fox was flung backwards to crash into a huge
pile of splinters left over from his last impact. There he lay
motionlessly, eyes gazing apparently sightlessly up at the
ceiling.

Sensing that victory was at hand, the Titan reached out with
its huge hand.

There was no fox. Only a cheetah remained, wearing the exact
same clothes the fox had been wearing moments earlier. He leapt up
on to the Titan's hand and sprinted along it at lightning
speeds, thrusting his fiery sword at the Titan's eyes.

Blood spurted as the fiery blade plunged deep into the mindless
Titan. It roared out in agony and thrashed violently, before it
convulsed erratically, then wearily and then collapsed into a pile
of its own blood.

With one violent jerk, the cheetah pulled out the sword from
the Titan's bleeding skull. He sighed, as he looked at the
creature. It was a shame to have to kill it, but it was a mindless
abomination, with no feeling and no thoughts of its own. There
really was hardly any difference between it and a robot of the
more traditional sense. Like the Simiae, killing it was no more
unethical than smashing a computer to bits.

The fox looked around him. One exit was blocked with the
carcass of the dead Titan. The other was blocked with the ruins of
what once had been crates carrying weapons. He looked up. The
easiest way was up, but he couldn't jump that high in his
current form. He tried to remember what other DNA he had captured
for use on the mission, and whether a kangaroo was amongst them.

Yes, he had obtained the DNA of a kangaroo from the other
Furcadians. So he used the DNA to morph into the form of a
kangaroo and leapt up through the hole in the ceiling.

The former-fox, now kangaroo, landed outside on the top of the
metallic carriage, bending his knees as he landed to soften the
impact. He looked around him, as he crouched on the metallic
surface of the carriage. There didn't seem to be any EVA
soldiers around. Had he dispatched them all? Was that why they had
sent a prototype against him?

Well, whatever the case was, he had succeeded in his mission.
The Titan was dead. Neo Eden would not be able to generate more of
them for quite some time.

Without warning, a hoof suddenly collided with his face and
sent him flying backwards.

"Did you really think you could get away with this?" asked
the winged horse, as he glared down at the kangaroo. "We are EVA
Soldiers, traitor. We are the elite of the elite, the cream of the
cream. You can't possibly expect to get one over on us, do you?"

It was gradual, but the kangaroo body began to change. His fur
became redder, with a patch of white running down from the bottom
of his muzzle down his neck and his chest, his ears becoming
smaller and more pointed, his tail becoming smaller and the fur
becoming bushier until it fleshed out into a brush. The kangaroo
changed back into a fox.

Green armour covered the body of the horse and on it was the
symbol of Neo Eden, the silhouette of a tree with a capital 'A'
within its trunk and a capital Omega within the boughs and leaves.
His mane was long and his fur a mottled grey, his wings pure
white.

"I didn't expect you to be a New Generation Humanoid,"
stated the winged horse calmly. "How did you Furcadians get the
technology?" He received no reply from the fox and he had
expected that as much. "Well, if you won't talk, I guess I'll
have to beat the information right out of you." He drew two
electrified swords, brandishing them menacingly. "When will you
Humanoids learn that you cannot rebel against Neo Eden?"

A sly smirk spread across the fox's muzzle, as he looked at
the winged horse.

"I'm sorry, but I never learn anything that isn't true,"
he retorted.

"Then prepare for your death at the hands of Rekku, one of
the Praetoriani of Commander Elpizo," called out the winged
horse sternly. He snorted disdainfully, before saying, "You
shall repent and atone for your sins, humanoid. I'll teach you
to rebel against Neo Eden. En garde!"

The Praetoriani flapped his pure white wings and hovered into
the air, before diving down at the fox, thrusting out with one of
his electrified blades. He missed as the fox ducked out of the
way, but as he flew past, he kicked out with his powerful hooves.

A yelp escaped the fox's muzzle, as he was kicked forwards.
He crashed on to the metallic floor with a heavy thud. His body
ached as if he had been hit full on by a speeding train. If it
hadn't been for the armour, he was sure the equine's kick
would have broken his spine.

The fox spun round, narrowly avoiding a hoof that would have
smashed into his back again. As he spun round, he lashed out at
the Praetoriani leg and drew blood from the equine leg. He leapt
back up on to his feet and then parried an attack from one of the
electrified swords, only to have to duck underneath the blade of
Rekku's second sword.

He leapt away from Rekku, the blade of his fiery sword sliding
away from that of Rekku's weapon.

"I'm sorry," apologised the fox with a sly smile on his
furry face, "I'd love to stay, but I've got friends waiting
for me." The fox whirled round and then stopped.

It was clear to Rekku that the fox was going to leap off the
edge of the train, but there was no ground left. The train was
passing over a huge canyon with only the tracks beneath it to keep
it up.

"You have nowhere to go, traitor!" cried Rekku sternly.

The red-armoured fox turned his head round to face Rekku.

"That's what you think," he retorted. He then leapt off the
edge of the train.

Seeing this, Rekku rushed towards the edge and leapt off after
the fox and spread his feathered wings wide. He swooped away from
the edge and... Rekku cursed angrily, as he beat his wings and
turned in the air until he was upright. The winged horse looked
around him. He could see no sign of the fox.

"So that's the one they call Colbor," grunted the horse.
"We will meet again. You can count on it. In the name of all
Humanity, I swear you will die at my hands."

=============

Colbor was the name they had found on the label of the large
tube they found him cryogenically frozen in. When they had
unfrozen him, he had found himself in a strange world, a frozen
world that seemed like some bizarre nightmare.

Memories were absent. The humanoid didn't even know his own
name and had to adopt the name that was found on the label of the
cryotube he was found in.

The fox sighed, as he took his helmet off. He wished he knew
more about his past, why he was found in the lab and why he was
the only one there. Had he always been this strange Humanoid,
capable of transforming into the shape of any creature that he
gained DNA from? Was he always a shape-shifter, or had he been
turned into one by the scientists that used to work in that lab?
Had he been created from scratch within that lab; was that why he
had no memories?

Maybe he was like the turtles of the ancient era, before the
Yellowstone Incident. Perhaps he was hundreds of years old, kept
young through cryogenics. Was he ancient, a relic of the past, an
artefact of times when the Earth was warmer and when there was
more life?

Helmet under arm, Colbor walked through the ruins of what had
once been a thriving human city. He walked underneath broken
streetlamps, their glass long since shattered and their wires
corroded or salvaged. The fox walked past abandoned buildings,
cracked, with broken windows, turned into lookout posts by the
Furcadians.

He walked into an abandoned building and was suddenly grabbed
from behind.

"Don't move!" barked a voice from just behind his ear.
"Identify yourself!"

"Oh come on, guys!" protested Colbor angrily. "Didn't
you smell me coming? I was approaching from downwind."

The fox's captor growled.

"Yeah, we smelt you, we were just fooling you," said the
foxhound, before giving the fox a gentle lick on the ear.

"So how'd it go?" asked the other sentry, a big Alsatian.

"You know I can't talk about my missions, guys,"
protested Colbor, as he relaxed in the Doberman's grip.

"Yeah, I know," said the Alsatian dejectedly, as he kicked
a small piece of plaster away from him. "It's just, well, you
know how boring sentry duty can get. EVA Troops hardly ever come
here."

The foxhound found himself nibbling gently on Colbor's ear.

"So, when are we going to get to donate our DNA for your next
mission?" asked the foxhound curiously, as he reached round and
stroked the underside of Colbor's muzzle. "Well, foxy? We've
been dying for a chance to 'donate'."

Colbor grabbed the foxhound's arm and then in one smooth
movement, threw him over his shoulder and on to the ground. He
then knelt down on top of the foxhound.

"I'm sorry, guys, but I've already got a keen sense of
smell," he told them. "Maybe when I get a mission that calls
for being disguised as a foxhound?"

"That's what you always say," protested the Alsatian.

"And why do you always have to be such a spoilsport?"
whined the foxhound. "I was enjoying myself."

"Hey, I've got to give my report," explained Colbor with
a shrugging gesture. "Besides, maybe I wouldn't slam you into
the ground if you stopped being such a perv'." He laughed, as
did the Alsatian. "Well, I gotta get going," he said, as he
got up off the foxhound. "Hayden's waiting for me." Colbor
then extended a hand out to the foxhound.

The foxhound refused it.

The Alsatian laughed.

"Aw, don't mind him, Colbor," he told the fox. "He's
just upset 'coz he didn't get to yiff his mate last night. You
go ahead and tell Hayden how your mission went."

"'kay then," said Colbor, as he walked over to the hole
in the ground. "I'll see you guys around," he said, before
he dropped down the hole.

"Damn, what I wouldn't give for a piece of that fox arse,"
sighed the foxhound, as he got back up to his feet.

The Alsatian knew what his friend meant. He had heard about the
other humanoids that had given their DNA to the fox for his
missions. There were descriptions of a skilled, warm and moist
mouth suckling and teasing cocks; of firm buttocks and a tight
sphincter that milked your cock dry. It made the Alsatian hot and
horny. He longed to feel Colbor go down on him, to tease his cock
with that fox tongue, to accept his length and...

He felt his buttocks being kneaded, fondled, and massaged from
behind. The Alsatian could smell a heavy musk of arousal that was
not his own. It had to be that of his sentry partner and he could
tell what the foxhound wanted.

"Yeah, you take what you want from me, buddy," he told the
foxhound. "You need it."

The foxhound wrapped his arms around the Alsatian from behind
and pulled those Alsatian buttocks into his hips, grinding his
hard erection into the doggy rear. His hands wandered up and down
the Alsatian's chest, stroking against the hardened muscles
sensuously. He reached out and nibbled on a furry neck, licking
and nipping at the Alsatian neck.

Hands reached up and scratched the Alsatian underneath the
chin, before trailing down and grabbing the zipper. The foxhound
slowly unzipped the shirt all the way down to the crotch and
reached inside down below the waistband. Fingers wrapped around an
already erect length of doggy cock, the leathery pads gripping on
sensitive flesh and tracing up and down that hardened, veined
length.

Alsatian eyes closed, as the length of his shaft was stroked
exquisitely by the foxhound. His chest rumbled with pleasure, as
he gently thrust forwards and then back against the foxhound's
hips.

"Mm, oh yeah," gasped the Alsatian, as he felt the other hand
trace up and down his furry chest.

He felt his foxhound partner let go of his cock and tug down on
his waistband. Trousers were pulled down to expose his erect cock,
his sheath and his balls to the frigid air. The Alsatian gasped as
the cold air hit him and his exposed shaft. He didn't even hear
the foxhound take off his own trousers.

The first he knew of it was when his tail was brushed aside and
the tip of something sharp pressed between his butt cheeks.

"Yeah, take me," exhaled the Alsatian. "Take all your
frustration out on me."

"I intend to," was the reply, before the foxhound slowly
pushed his length past those buttocks to touch the tip of his
leaking shaft against the Alsatian's anal ring. He traced the
ring as best as he could with his thick cock, leaving a trail of
pre-cum in its wake. "Now relax, pup," growled the foxhound,
before he pushed against the ring.

A gasp escaped the Alsatian's muzzle, as he felt his friend's
cock pushing against him. His sphincter clenched almost
instinctively in response. It didn't matter though. He felt it
nudging its way past, as the foxhound pulled the Alsatian's hips
closer to his own. The big canine did his best to relax and let
the cock slip into him.

The anal ring opened and the Alsatian felt his partner's cock
penetrating him, entering into him, the tip pressing past the
sphincter and into his warm passage. He let out a deep moan, his
cock twitching, as the penis entered him, sliding deeper into his
rear. It slid slowly, the tip brushing against the walls of his
insides, making him whine with a mixture of longing and pleasure.

He could hear the foxhound growling lustily, with pleasure, as
the cock slid deeper into him.

"Oh, Eddy, yes!" he growled lustily, as he bucked his hips
backwards. A whimper escaped the Alsatian's muzzle, as he leaned
back, his head thrown back and his throat exposed to the foxhound,
Eddy, whom nipped and licked at it passionately.

"Mm... you're enjoying this, aren't you, Rudi?" growled
the foxhound, as a hand deftly pulled back the Alsatian's furred
sheath to expose the expanding knot. He squeezed tight, squeezing
a whine out of from the Alsatian. Then with one thrust, his hips
smacked against Rudi's furred buttocks.

Rudi whimpered, as his cock was fondled dextrously by skilled
fingers that ran over his exposed flesh as soft as silk. He began
to buck, thrusting backwards in time with the foxhound's
thrusts, his cock stroking in and out of the tunnel that those
fingers made. The foxhound nuzzled him, held him tight, dominated
him and leaned in on him, the pleasure and the foxhound's weight
making Rudi's legs quiver and start to buckle.

He was pushed down on to his knees by Eddy, without the
foxhound cock even leaving his arse. Every thrust made his hips
buck forward, his cock sliding through the tunnel made by Eddy's
furred fingers. The way his knot rammed against Eddy's fingers
with every thrust was almost unbearable. He wanted to tie with
something.

Eddy leaned forward, resting his weight on his mate's back,
hunched over, his hips rocking quickly, rhythmically against the
foxhound's body. The knot at the base of Eddy's cock swelled and
Eddy winced, locking his arms tightly around Rudi's body, ramming
his shaft into his mate repeatedly, as fast as he could. He wanted
to tie with Rudi, just as he had wanted to ram his knot into
Colbor and tie with him.

The foxhound heard Rudi moan in pleasure. He knew the Alsatian
enjoyed the sensation of his sex within him. Eddy enjoyed it too.
He loved taking Rudi's arse, the slapping of his balls against
the Alsatian's twin orbs, the slamming of his hips against Rudi's
furry buttocks. He growled with pleasure, as Rudi's arse
tightened around his hot shaft. It was almost more than he could
take; it was a miracle he had lasted that long.

Leaning over, Eddy bit Rudi on the neck as he slammed his knot
against the Alsatian's puckered arsehole. He ground it in as
hard as he could, wanting to tie with his friend, wanting to unite
them. His hand pumped up and down Rudi's cock forcefully, his
other hand gripping the Alsatian tightly on his furred haunches,
the fingers caressing through Rudi's luxuriant fur.

Rudi howled as he felt the foxhound knot penetrate him,
stretching his anal ring wide. He felt Eddy's teeth clamp down
on him, before the foxhound gave a few more forceful, quick, yet
restricted thrusts. The foxhound howled through a mouthful of neck
fur. Fingers wrapped around his knot and gave a squeeze. Rudi
clenched down on Eddy's cock and he felt a spurt of wet, sticky
warmth inside him, as an orgasm overcame him and he sprayed his
own seed in an arc against his furred belly.

Eddy growled, licking Rudi's neck lovingly.

"Mm, I guess you enjoyed yourself too, huh?" he said, as he
raised his sticky cum-covered hand up. He licked Rudi's cum off
his fingers, savouring the taste, enjoying the flavour. "Colbor
doesn't know what he's missing, huh, hon'?"

"Hey, guys," greeted a Humanoid, as he climbed up the
ladder. "Aw, Jeez! Couldn't you have waited 'til your shift
was over?"

Rudi turned his head to look back at Eddy. He smiled lovingly
at the foxhound and saw the canine smile lovingly back at him. One
thing, at least, was clear.

"No, no we couldn't," he said.

=============

Hayden looked at the large map carefully, his golden eyes
scanning the map calmly, the feline's black furred tail swaying
behind him gently as he thought carefully to himself. They didn't
have much power left, but the latest raid on a Neo Edenite Fuel
Rod Plant had proved successful. There was enough, but only for
the short term.

Hydrogen Fuel Rods could only power their base for so long.
Unlike Neo Eden, they couldn't afford to build wind turbines,
which would flag up their position to EVA's Forces. Their sole
existence depended on Hydrogen Fuel Rods, yet there were only so
many they could steal before Neo Eden got wise to their attacks.
Raids were already beginning to become more difficult. If the
situation continued, the next raid would be a complete disaster.

There was a knock on the door.

"Commander Hayden, Agent Colbor is here to see you,"
announced a voice from outside.

"Please, send him in," called out the panther, without even
turning round to look towards the door. He continued to look at
the map calmly, even as he heard the door open. "So, Colbor, how
did the mission go?" asked Hayden curiously, as he turned round
to face the fox at the last moment.

There was no more blood on Colbor. The battle fatigues he wore
were a new pair and his helmet was obviously absent. He just hoped
that his other set of clothes would dry before the end of his next
mission.

"Well, I had a run in with one of the Praetoriani," came the
reply from the fox, "but the Titan's dead."

"Praetoriani?" exclaimed Hayden in surprise. He hadn't
expected the Praetoriani to be guarding the convoy. "Which one?"
he asked curiously. He was sure that it wasn't Makei, the Dragon
Humanoid, which left Jin'en, the Phoenix Humanoid; Rekku and Zan'ei,
the Tortoise Humanoid.

"Rekku, would you believe," was Colbor's reply. "I
always thought he was in charge of the Air Force."

"So, did I," commented Hayden sternly. "I wonder what he
was doing on that convoy? I would have thought Jin'en or Zan'ei
would have been personally taking charge." He couldn't
understand it. Why Rekku? Why the winged horse, Praetoriani of the
West? It made no sense. "Well, good work anyway, Colbor," he
said calmly. "You'll be pleased to know that our raid on the
Fuel Rod Plant went well, thanks in part to your distraction."
He then sighed.

"Is something wrong?" asked Colbor curiously.

Hayden turned his back to Colbor, as he turned back round to
the map. He gestured for Colbor to join him.

"I won't beat around the bush," he told the fox. "We're
in a bind. EVA Troops are scouring the wastelands. It will be only
a matter of time before they find us. Even if they don't, their
securities at the Fuel Rod Plants are getting better. At this
rate, we'll run out of energy soon."

What with the recent raids on the Recycling Plants, as well,
they weren't able to continue. They were rescuing as many
Humanoids from the Recycling Plants as possible, saving them from
a fate of being mulched into fertiliser. Yet room was scarce and
so was their food supplies. Their entire situation was unviable.

They wouldn't last long in their current situation.
