His hair's a dark imitation of a Ric Flair
perm and his boots are short and yellow. His naturally red eyes are
hidden under a much more standard pair of blue contacts. He gives out
a short "Dook!" to the audience as he brushes his head-fur back
and shakes his legs out. He can't be more than seventeen."<<And to my left; from Gifu, Japan, he stands 5'11"
meters tall and weighs 187lbs, this is Yoshimasa Kikuchi.">>The audience gives a respectable round of applause to the slightly
more seasoned native rat. He's a rather standard junior heavyweight;
his thigh-length white shorts offset his mostly black fur (save for
the white patch on his underbelly that extends up to his jaw) and
match his wrist-tape and short wrestling shoes. He cracks his neck
and nods curtly to the small crowd. Both furs make their ways back into their corners and Shinya Gomi,
the red panda who shall serve as the veteran referee for this
contest, signals for the bell to begin the match.
CH-DING!
The ferret steps out of his corner and offers a lockup... which he
then retracts quickly and gives a loud "Dook!" to Kikuchi's face.
The native rat gives an unimpressed glare to Andrew as he struts
around him in a semicircle. A scant few of the fans return the
"Dook!" Andrew comes back around and offers another lockup,
pulling back again. This time, however, Kikuchi dives for his legs
and quickly throws him over his shoulders with a fireman's toss,
which he transitions into a chinlock before shifting into a
headscissors. With his neck between the rat's legs, the ferret hops to his knees
and rolls forwards to break the hold, turning back around quickly to
grab the rat in a front facelock. Andrew gives out another "Dook!"
as they battle each other to rise. This one gets a few more returned.
Back to their feet, the rat nails the ferret in the chest with a
couple forearm blows and swivels to grab his arm and wrench it back
into a hammerlock. Andrew gives a short hiss before ducking under and
reversing the lock... which is in turn reversed... which the ferret
in turn reverses back.
Andrew, looking to hold the advantage in his first match, pushes
his boot against the back of Kikuchi's knee, sinking him down to a
crouch while the ferret continues to wrench his arm behind his back.
"Now we're goin' to school! Dook!" The crowd "Dook!"s back
and Andrew, a little overconfident, dips down to "Dook!" once
more in Kikuchi's ear. This allows the rat to grab a hold of his perm
and give it a sharp tug! The ferret almost instantly breaks his lock
and swats the rat in the back of the head! "Watch the hair, ref,
dammit!" He motions with a tug of his locks for emphasis. While the ferret is busy chiding the referee for allegedly not
doing his job properly, the rat pushes right back to his feet,
fuming. He wheels Andrew around and gives him a hard overhand chop to
the chest. The ferret gasps and the crowd cheers as Kikuchi chops him
five more times, backing him against the ropes and whipping him
across to catch him with a dropkick. Andrew is blasted to his back
and, groaning, flops under the bottom rope and to the apron. Still
shaking his head clear, Kikuchi stalks over and grabs him with both
paws by the perm, pulling him over the top rope and back into the
ring for the biggest cheer of the match. From there, the rat grabs him around the head and floors him with
a snapmare, setting him up for a double foot stomp to the chest and a
subsequent pin attempt for a two count. Kikuchi picks Andrew up and
bucks him over with a suplex for another two count. He tugs the
ferret up to a stand yet again - by the perm - and whips him
across the ropes to catch him with a high angle body slam. The ferret
squirms away from his aggressor and into the corner, begging him off.
"No! No-oo!" The rat grabs him by the head and pushes him to a
stand, giving him a chop across the chest. Andrew responds with a
kick to the gut before grabbing the rat by the head and smashing it
against the top turnbuckle pad. With Kikuchi's front against the turnbuckle pads, the ferret
smashes his forearm against his back before snatching him up for a
Russian leg sweep. Andrew floats over and goes for a pin attempt,
resulting in a two count. When that doesn't work, he sits the rat up
and boots him between the shoulder blades, grabbing his arms to
stretch them out and hold him in a bow and arrow lock. Kikuchi
stuggles for several seconds, the crowd behind him, and manages to
twist out of the lock and to a stand.
From there, he and Andrew exchange chops for several seconds, the
fans largely supporting the local rat over the rookie. Andrew gets
the advantage with a big dropkick and whips the rat across the ring.
Kikuchi comes back and the ferret tries to lace him up into a
crucifix pin. Kikuchi goes down, rolls through the pin attempt and
rises back to a stand with the ferret in tow on his shoulders. "No!
No-ooo!" the ferret objects as the rat powers him down with a
modified Samoan drop. It's academic from there. The rat picks the
rookie up to a stand, lines him up, and connects with an enzuigiri
kick to the back of the head - right in the middle of the perm. He
rolls Andrew over and easily secures the pinfall victory.
CH-DING!

"<<The winner of this contest by way of pinfall, Yoshimasa
Kikuchi!">>The crowd gives a nice round of applause for the local victor as
the referee raises his arm. The rat helps the ferret back to his feet
and the two shake paws and bow, heading back to the lockers together
as the ring crew does a quick inspection of the ring and prepares it
for the next contest of the night.
"}
