{"sf1_id":788977,"sf2_id":"dmWxVdEn","title":"A Golden Light on Cold Grey Stone","author":"Torvac","words":358,"posted_at":"2014-11-28T22:36:00.000Z","tags":["DitD","Dragon","Poem","Red","Silver","Spartan of Sparta","Torvac","spartan"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/788977-a-golden-light-on-cold-grey-stone","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/s/dmWxVdEn","image_url":"https://cdn.sofurryfiles.com/submissions/thumbnails/d0/35/d035f6d6-dc70-4063-9c05-7f42ffe1f086","description":"","content":"A golden light on cold grey stone,\n\nReflected off two dragons, prone.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nA silver and a red they were,\n\nAnd in the morning light one stirred.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nA loud yawn broke the peaceful silence,\n\nSharp teeth reflecting light like diamonds.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAzure blues opened and cast their gaze down,\n\nA warm smile split the silver's muzzle, all 'round.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nWarm memories flooded the silver's mind,\n\nOf how the red was loving, and oh so kind.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nA personality she had so fallen for,\n\nA warmth in her chest, so difficult to ignore.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe thought back, to days gone by,\n\nOf events they faced, side by side.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe birth of a small ness, black and red,\n\nOh, how much tears of joy he'd had shed.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nOf simple things, like hugs and cuddles,\n\nOf warm embraces, together huddled.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nOf warmth and care, shared so close,\n\nA moment where-in only true love shows.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nA few weeks passed, low and behold,\n\nNot one, but two eggs, her belly hold.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe nippers hatched and grew like weeds,\n\nGrowing big and strong with incredible speeds.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAnother little one soon came to be,\n\nWelcomed to the world with eager glee.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nWinter came, painting the world in white,\n\nTo see the littles play was quite a sight.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe came back to the now by a gentle shift,\n\nBut the red still slept, in his dreams adrift.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nI love you dear, my glorious red,\n\nShe leant down, and softly said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nA soft lick across his cheek she gave,\n\nBefore she rested her head back into place.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAs sleep swept over her, with dreams overcome,\n\nHer smile remained, still lingered some.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nDeep affection shown by light from the sun,\n\nWhen two hearts.. become one.\n\n-----------------------------------------------\n\nIf you've made it this far, thank you for reading! This was a poem I whipped up for a close friend, and he told me to post it, so here it is.\u0026nbsp;\n\nI'd never really written a poem before, so I'm sure there are plenty of mistakes in there, so please overlook them for this noob. ^^\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
