Enjoy!","content":"Terrible dreams stir me,\n\nflocking through the callosum.\n\nI am my only enemy,\n\nI've never been more loathsome.\n\nLay me down here,\n\nshaking with heavy breath.\n\nWipe away my tears;\n\nbring me back from death.\n\nThe years are still young,\n\nand yet we're so old.\n\nWhen had it all begun?\n\nWhat tales have we told?\n\nLay me down here,\n\nwhere I can be with you.\n\nStay my fevered stares,\n\nI've been such the fool.\n\nCaged behind fear's claws,\n\nthe struggle has been so long,\n\nwith nary a day's pause.\n\nLet it make us strong.\n\nSo lay me down here,\n\nwrapped up in your arms.\n\nLove without any fear;\n\nI'll keep you from harm.\n\nLay your head down,\n\nnow you can breathe easy.\n\nLet go of your doubt,\n\nbecause you will always have me.\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Hound's Poetry Corner","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/449341-a-new-promise.json"}}
