They\nhad stopped for a few minutes to pay their respects at the small, overgrown\ncemetery.  They then loped down the road\nuntil it faded into the overgrowth of small trees and bushes.\n                Maggie\nwas wagging her tail. \"This is nice. It's like we don't have any\nresponsibilities for once in our lives.\"\n                He was about\nto voice a retort when he thought better of it. Right now, there was truly\nnothing pressing that they were needed for. He blanked out his mind as best he\nwas able and fell into step with his feral form. He wasn't a werewolf proper,\nbut as close as he could get to being a true wolf. He even went so far as to\nforce his normally dark fur into the lighter colors of something that might\nactually be roaming these parts. No point in freaking anyone out, just in case\nthey ran into someone.\n                She was\na light gray color; like him not her normal. He had suggested that they begin\nto see how far they could stretch the boundaries of these forms. They found\nthat there was a remarkable amount of flexibility to them, if they concentrated.\nOtherwise, they would revert to the basic colors and form that was natural to\nthem. It made sense, even if the mechanism behind it didn't. After all, what\neven allowed for them to force their body from one shape into another? There\nwas no other living thing that could do it in such an extreme way.\n                They\nmade their way deeper into the forest, following a little stream as it wandered\nto and fro, around rocks and outcrops, until it lead them to a little clearing.\nThe sun was smiling down, sending beams of filtered light through the branches.\n                She\nstopped and rolled over onto her back. \"What about here? This seems nice\nenough.\"\n                \"Yes it\ndoes.\" He lay down beside her and sniffed. \"You smell pretty good!\"\n                \"Do I?\"\n                \"You\ndo. But then, I'm admittedly biased.\"\n                \"I'm\nfine with that! You smell pretty good too! You're not cheating are you?\"\n                He let\nout a throaty howl. \"No! As much fun as that is, I hardly want to abuse it.\nLike any other power I seem to have had dumped on me, it's not one I wish to\noveruse unless it's for a good cuase.\"\n                She\nbarked out a laugh. \"I wasn't complaining. There is something about being held\nin thrall of you that I find erotic.\"\n                \"Is that\nso?\"\n                She\nrolled back and forth, rubbing herself on an exposed tree root, scratching an\nitch. \"It is. You know, at one time I never felt that I would ever have any\nhappiness. Then I found you. It's been a crazy ride, but I'd do it all over\nagain in a heartbeat.\"\n                \"Are\nyou sure. The ride isn't over yet.\"\n                \"Well I\nshould hope not. We just got started!\"\n                He\nlounged on the ground next to her. \"It doesn't exactly seem like it though,\ndoes it? It seems like we've been running and adventuring for years, not just a\nfew months.\"\n                \"True,\nit does seem pretty incredible. But I still say that I would do it all over\nagain in an instant!\"\n                \"Me\ntoo. But know that I'm only saying that because I survived a few narrow\nescapes. If not for dumb luck, I wouldn't even be here today.\"\n                \"But\nyou are father, and that's all that matters.\"\n                \"You're\nright of course. But do you think we should leave it at that?\"\n                She\nrolled over and sat up. \"Whatever do you mean?\"\n                He sat\nup too. \"Oh, I don't know. I was thinking that perhaps we should search the\nworld for more of our kind. You know I want to build a town here on the sight\nof the old, failed one.\"\n                \"Do you\nmean travelling the globe looking for more of the kind?\"\n                \"Sure!\nWhy not?\"\n                \"No reason.\nI'm not certain how good of an idea that is. Would there be a point to it?\"\n                \"Maybe.\nI was thinking that if there are still members of the Kind who suffer from the\neating disorder, that maybe we could help cure them of it at the very least.\"\n                \"That's\nsweet father, but I'll leave it up to you. For the moment you know best it\nseems.\"\n                \"Is\nthat so? Well in that case, father says that his little girl needs a good dose\nof red meat. Human red meat.\"\n                \"What?!\"\nShe jerked her head in his direction.\n                He was\ntransforming into his human self, except for a bright red, blood engorged cock.\n                \"Oh!\nWell in that case, that's one piece of meat I haven't lost my taste for!\"\n                \"I\nknow, otherwise we wouldn't have bothered getting so far away from the only\nother people living in this vicinity.\"\n                She\nrolled over onto her back again. \"I miss being able to do it without worrying\nabout any one interrupting.\" Then she paused. \"Can you look into the future and\nsee if anyone does so we can avoid it?\"\n                \"I don't\nthink we need to worry. Today is all about us!\"\n                Her\ntongue lolled out the side of her mouth for a moment. \"Good. I really want some\nus time, just you and me and no one else. Call me greedy, but I deserve you\nmore than anyone else does. I mean, after all, I found you!\"\n                \"You\nmean I found you. I followed you that night when you went hunting.\"\n                \"Sure,\nif that's how you want to look at it. It doesn't matter much now.\"\n                \"You're\nright of course... We're together now, and that's all that matters.\"\n                \"Right!\"\n                He had\ngrown tired of talking and ended their conversation by dropping between her\ncanine legs and burying his tongue into her dripping wet flesh. As a wolf, she\nwas particularly tight, and though she could make adjustments, she decided to\nmake him work for it. After all, the longer he took to get her off, the more\nshe could enjoy the intense feeling of his actions. They had all day, and as\nfar as she was concerned, all night and into the next day.\n                His\ntongue curled up tightly and tried to snake its way inside her. Since he wasn't\nbeyond using his abilities when they really mattered, he elongated it like he\nhad done in the past and grabbing her furry hips, drove it in deep. It went to\nwork with a life of its own as the tip found her cervix and massaged it firmly,\npoking now and again at the opening.\n                She\nnearly transformed into something more akin to human. What she really wanted\nwas hands with claws, to dig into his head and keep him right where he was at,\ndoing precisely what he was doing. She fought it down for the moment. He was\nmanaging on his own to find the perfect spots. \n                She\nloved it when they were of two different forms. It felt so dirty to be going at\nit like a dog and its owner. She has lost her collar, but was intending to\npurchase a new one when they got to a store. Right now, out here in the middle\nof nowhere, it was going to have to wait.\n                She\nfought down the need to change until it just wasn't any use any more. She felt\nher body contort and stretch until she was in her were form. Her hands went to\nhis head and pressed his face into her crotch with a force capable of cracking\nopen a coconut. Luckily for him his head was made of sterner stuff.\n                He dug\nhis fingers into her rump and attempted to satisfy her present need. Part of\nhim wanted to change into his biggest form just because he knew she'd love it.\nShe really wanted to be treated like an adult, and he understood her need to be\ntaken seriously. He was willing to do a lot for her for he was so into her, it\nalmost hurt. He had no idea why, even in his heightened state. He just knew he\ndid.\n                He was\nso glad that they finally had a little time alone. Traveling had been\nwonderful, and while they still weren't home in the sense of where they had\nstarted all this, Wolf Creek just might end up as their permanent location.\n                His\nthoughts were dissipated by the deep vibration that was coming from her body.\nHis skills in reaching the perfect places had as much to do with his knowledge\nof her likes and preferences as it did with his knew found abilities. When he\ntouched her he could feel what she felt. It was like having an extra orgasm. He\nhadn't mentioned it, for what was the point? It was an aspect of his enhanced\ncapacity that he found very useful.\n                He\nworked her over until she was growling with pure sexual madness. Her head was\nwhipping from side to side in her raging ecstasy. She let out a piercing howl\nwhich shattered the relative quiet of the forest. The abrupt sound spooked birds\ninto flight.\n                He got\nup and looked on as she thrashed about. Then with a wry smile he transformed to\nhis feral self. When she had calmed a bit, he licked her and said, \"You want\nmore, then you have to catch me first.\"\n                Her\neyes opened just a bit. \"That's not fair. I can't even stand right now!\"\n                \"Then\ntake your time. But I think if you want any more, you're going to have to earn\nit.\"\n                \"That's\nnot fair!\"\n                \"No,\nbut I bet it'll be a lot of fun, playing a game of hide and seek.\"\n                She\nconsidered it for a moment. \"When I find you, you had better pay up!\"\n                \"I'm\ncounting on it.\"\n                Without\nanother word he dashed off into the thick undergrowth. Here and there he\nstopped to spray some urine on the foliage just to make it tougher on her.\nWhile you might think it was going to make it easier, he was loading the air\nwith his pheromones until it was a dense olfactory fog. She would quickly get\nlost in his scent.\n                He\nfound the stream and waded down the middle of it for a while before stepping\nback out and dashing up the side of the ravine it had cut into the hillside.\nHis claws dug into the dirt and stones until he was at the top.  He then turned and by a roundabout route,\nmade his way back to his start point. Maggie was gone, but he followed her\nscent until it mixed with his own in the region he had liberally sprayed. He\nducked under the branches of an evergreen and became his smallest wolf form. In\nthe dim light of the forest, all that could be seen was his eyes.\n                He\nwaited to see if she could find him.\n                Maggie was\na damn good tracker. That was good because Edward liked to cheat. When she ran\ninto his overpowering scent, it clogged her nose and drove her senses over the\nedge. But he forgot that tracking wasn't just scent, it was following telltale\nclues; like his footprints. Just because he could change from one form to\nanother didn't mean he wouldn't leave traceable footprints. She held her breath\nuntil she was free from the worst of his smell and made her way to the stream.\n                Wading\nwas a good old trick for evading something with a good tracking nose, but again,\nall she had to do was to wade after him until his track left the water. It\nreally wasn't all that hard. She walked over the graveled bottom, noting the\nfresh disturbance in the otherwise flawless stream bed. When she lost it, she\nbacktracked and saw the fresh claw marks on the slope.\n                Silly\nman! He made it all too easy.\n                Edward\nheard the footsteps coming and hunkered down. He hadn't been trying all too\nhard to win this little game after all. It was just a means of extending it out.\nHe saw the furred feet go by and stared. In no way did that set of werewolf\nlegs belong to her. Damn if someone from the house wasn't down here spoiling their\ngame.\n                Well to\nhell with that. He wasn't going to show himself until whoever it was said\nsomething. This was supposed to be their alone time. Everyone down at the house\nknew that, which made him think, then, that perhaps something was wrong. It\nleft him hanging as to what he was supposed to do.\n                He didn't\nbother applying his seer-sense to it, for what was the point? He simply crawled\nout from under the boughs and confronted the person. \n                It was\nnot a werewolf he had ever seen before. But the look in its eyes told him that\nif it had any thoughts or emotions, they were deeply buried within its feral psyche.\nIt was large, rather gangly, and the odor was something akin to burnt hair. It\nsnarled at him and went into a crouch.\n                \"Whoa!\nThere's no need to fight!\"\n                For an\nanswer, the newcomer leaped at him, teeth bared and hackles raised. Edward\ndodged to one side and quickly morphed into his largest form. This didn't appear\nto be the time for diplomacy. The other watched the change, but if it\nregistered for what it was within that animalistic brain, the werewolf made no indication\nof it. \n                Edward\nwas sizing up the situation. This wasn't a scenario he had looked into.\nEveryone at the house had promised to leave them alone. This feral was a male,\nbut Billy didn't change and Marcus was older and grayer. This fellow was gray\nand red, with a tip of black on his tail. It dawned him that all of his\nprevious spraying had likely drawn him here. Werewolves in their feral form\noccasionally forgot about the niceties of discussing their problems and settled\nthem with violence. \n                It\nlooked like this guy was interested in taking over Edward's territory. That's\nwhen Maggie showed up. She was part of the prize too, he realized belatedly.\n                She\nlooked at the two feral facing each other off. \"What the hell is this?\"\n                The\nnewcomer sniffed in her direction before growling and turning back to Edward.\n                \"Beats the\nhell out of me Mags. I though these woods were clean of anyone else. Where the hell\ndo these new guys keep popping up from every time we show upsomewhere?\" \n                \"I don't\nknow. I didn't smell any evidence of him earlier. So where the hell could he\nhave come from?\"\n                \"For the\nmoment it doesn't matter. He needs to be neutralized.\"\n                \"You\ncan't kill him!\"\n                \"I didn't\nsay that. I need to get him back to being human, if he ever was one.\"\n                Maggie\nwas keeping a close eye on both of them. \"Are you saying you think he could be\na mindless beast rather than a full were?\"\n                \"I don't\nknow what I think. Whatever you do keep your distance.\"\n                The\nother werewolf began circling Edward. He knew he couldn't come to any permanent\nharm at the moment, but that didn't mean he relished being ripped into by\nanother of the Kind. And this one was pretty agitated right now, most likely on\naccount of the smell. It was a turn-on to the ladies, but it was a red flag for\nanother male. He might as well have attacked him outright. There was a reason feral\npairs didn't breed around another male. It tended to spark trouble.\n                Edward\nwas sizing him up. He didn't seem overly agile, for his movements were slightly\nout of sync with his form. That was odd. But then again, if it spent most of its\ntime as a wolf, then the altered proportions would throw it off. Perhaps the\nsmell of his pheromones had caused the sudden change and the animal was ill prepared\nto deal with it.\n                What to\ndo. A fight seemed imminent. Maggie was torn between letting him handle this,\nand doing something herself. She moved around to snap at the black-tipped tail,\nhoping to throw this interloper off guard. He turned and snapped back. \n                \"Knock\nit off Mags. That's not helping things.\"\n                He was\nconcentrating on how to defuse the situation. There were a hundred scenarios going\nthough his mind when something struck him. Not figuratively mind you, but for\nreal. It was a rock. And it had come from Maggie.\n                \"Look!\"\n                He\nrubbed his head and stared where she was pointing. He could see nothing special\nuntil his brain finally made the connection.\n                It was\na ring.\n                \"What\nthe hell?\"\n                Maggie got\ncloser to the werewolf and sniffed. His odor was almost offensive to the nose.\nThere wasn't a thing about that smell that was familiar. But a ring? It was\nimpossible. No one had a ring here that wasn't accounted for. Even as she was\nthinking this over, her ears caught the sounds of shouting and calling coming\nfrom the direction of the house. Her eyes went wide.\n                \"Father!\nI think this is Alexei!\""}
