{"sf1_id":801784,"sf2_id":null,"title":"December's Ending","author":"librios","words":236,"posted_at":"2014-12-31T00:51:00.000Z","tags":["Poem","Poetry","experimentation","life","reflecting"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/801784-december-s-ending","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/view/801784","image_url":"https://www.sofurryfiles.com/std/thumb?page=801784\u0026ext=.jpg","description":"","content":"As we both look back on this road\u0026nbsp;\n\nThat we have taken\n\nI start questioning the reason\n\nWhy this path was chosen for us\n\nAnd even though the answer was clear\n\nWe still kept on searching\n\nLike if the answer was hidden beyond human reach\n\nAnd it's sad to see\u0026nbsp;\n\nThose who we relied so much on\n\nEnded up pushing us away\n\nBecause of a crutch\u0026nbsp;\n\nThat has stayed with us for so long\n\nAs they pointed and laughed at us\u0026nbsp;\n\nFor going in a direction that wasn't accurate\n\nTossing their stones\u0026nbsp;\n\nScarring and injuring us both physically and mentally\u0026nbsp;\n\nDeep down we knew\u0026nbsp;\n\nWe had to keep pushing forward\n\nDespite having the weight of the world on our backs\n\nWhile it was a path that had been used many times\n\nVery few dared to travel the same road\n\nWe had been walking on for so long\n\nWhile the world was walking on a road without any end\n\nWe both knew that the road we were on\n\nWould eventually come to an end\n\nAnd it would be then\n\nWhere you and I could finally smile\u0026nbsp;\n\nTurning our tormented days\n\nInto experiences that would make us stronger\n\nTransforming us into a light in a darkened world\n\nIt was this gift you gave us\n\nThat would help us to have more empathy\u0026nbsp;\n\nFor those who were about to start their journey\n\nOn the same road we had taken.\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
