#3 of Pre-made poems

The woes of an introvert in love. Happened to me far too often.

There is nothing I could say about you

But much that I could think

The words, they live inside my head

But die as they hit my tongue.

Voice and thoughts, they are at war

For they cannot hope to share

The passion that I feel for you;

They each want it to themselves.

Within the walls of purest thought

It starts to fade away:

The words that form the frame

To shape my emotions.

Instead, what's left behind

Is a concept so fine

Words cannot hope to capture

It's natural purity.

So when I say I cannot think

Cannot speak or find the words

Consider it the highest compliment

For this essence cannot be expressed
